Chapter 82: Chip development progress (first update)
Chapter 82 Chip R&D progress (first update)

”Wait a minute, it’s really not me who leads the research and development of mobile phone chips, but Lin Xuan who leads the research and development of chips! I’m just assisting at most!”

Ni Guangnan, who was shouting, also ran towards those reporters.

But the intercepted reporter showed an expression we all understand, and then bid farewell to Ni Guangnan’s interception and broke away.

Seeing that they couldn’t listen to his words at all, Ni Guangnan froze in place again. At this time, he felt like asking the sky for nothing.

He really doesn’t want to take away his disciple’s research results. Why do these guys think that he is going to develop the mobile phone chip?

At this time, Lin Xuan walked over slowly, comforting Ni Guangnan who was speechless and asked the sky:

”Teacher, it’s okay to say that you lead the research and development, after all, you have taught me knowledge, and when I develop chips.

Teacher, you must also be there to guide me in real time and even point out many mistakes for me. After all, chip design is not so easy, and I don’t have experience.

So it is true that you led the research and development of this chip, so teacher, please accept this achievement with peace of mind. ”

Ni Guangnan is very kind to him, and has helped him many times before.

This time, in order to teach him, he even flew over here in person, and taught him chip design and electronics knowledge in person without hesitation. At this time, it is nothing to give Ni Guangnan the honor of developing a mobile phone chip.

With the knowledge of chip design and the super copycat king system in hand, Lin Xuan can re-develop a brand new mobile phone chip in ten days and half a month at any time.

”Hey, Lin Xuan, how can you say that?! Since it is said to let you develop and design chips, it is to let you develop and design chips. How can I take your scientific research results? !

Although there are many shameless mentors in our Daxia scientific research circle who can use their disciples’ scientific research results to publish in order to gain the greatest reputation, but I, Ni Guangnan, don’t bother to do it! ! ”

Ni Guangnan expressed his determination with a serious face.

What Ni Guangnan hates the most is the kind of doggy, how could he become the most hated person, so he disdains it!

”teacher.”

Hearing what Ni Guangnan said, Lin Xuan felt warm in his heart.

This is the real Academician Ni Guangnan, who has an upright character, has offended countless people in his life, and has been serving scientific research all his life, but he has no savings.

Obviously as an academician of the building, Ni Guangnan couldn’t even afford a nanny to take care of her daily life for the rest of her life!

A lovely old man!

Thinking of Ni Guangnan’s difficult life in the future, Lin Xuan’s eyes couldn’t help getting wet.

”Xiao Lin, wait, I must explain clearly to them that this honor should be yours and it is yours. I, Ni Guangnan, will never take your honor away!”

Ni Guangnan said that he rolled up his sleeves and ran towards the last reporter, but at this moment Lin Xuan quickly stopped Ni Guangnan there.

”No need for the teacher, really no need, actually it is good for them to misunderstand, after all, if it is said that I designed the chip, then it will not be easy to sell the chip when it is first released.

But if this chip is developed with your reputation, then this chip will not be underestimated but will receive great attention, so teacher, you can accept all this with peace of mind. ”

”But.”

Hearing what Lin Xuan said, Ni Guangnan didn’t know what to do for a while.

He really didn’t want to take away his disciple’s honor, but at this time his disciple actually used such a reason to talk about him, he really didn’t know whether to refuse or accept it.

At this moment, he looked at Lin Xuan, and looked at Lin Xuan’s sincere and serious eyes, he fell into hesitation and didn’t know what to do.

After a long time, Ni Guangnan seemed to have finally figured out something, and he said resolutely:

”I, Ni Guangnan, will never take away my disciple’s honor. When your chip is recognized by the market, you won’t need my brand anymore.

I will tell the truth to the whole world, and I will never take away your honor! ”

”teacher.”

Looking at his teacher like this, Lin Xuan sighed and acquiesced, and could only repay Ni Guangnan, the teacher later.

In this life, Lin Xuan will definitely not let Ni Guangnan follow the old path of his previous life. He will be contracted by Lin Xuan for the rest of his life.

Lin Xuan will not let him follow the old path of his previous life, at least let him spend his old age happily, and he will not even be able to afford a nanny.

In addition, Lin Xuan plans to give a chip project to Ni Guangnan in the future, so that Ni Guangnan can personally realize his ”Great Xia Chip Dream Power”.

But now Hantang Technology Company has insufficient money, because the chip designed by Lin Xuan must be the most advanced chip in the world.

It must also adopt the most advanced 45nm or the world’s second-class 65nm process technology.

So the current money of Hantang Technology Company is indeed not enough to open two chip projects at the same time.

Among other things, Lin Xuan couldn’t afford more than three tape-out costs just because of the chip tape-out cost, even if Lin Xuan wanted to ask someone to make it cheaper!

Because when the chip factory is tape-out, it is inevitable that the production line in production will be temporarily shut down.

The loss of time and chips caused by the temporary suspension of production must naturally be borne by Lin Xuan!

So chip tape-out is not cheap, especially the more advanced the manufacturing process is, the more you need to pay for chip tape-out.

Like the later generations of rice, when they taped the surging S2 chip, they used a 16-nanometer process technology.

According to the information released by Internet news, the surging S2 stream costs 4 million US dollars for one stream, and such streams have not passed five times!

Rebs said sadly at the time that ”The Paper S2 has been taped out 5 times and failed, which consumed Redmi’s profit for a year!”

So chip development is very expensive, and it hardly exists in the world to be able to successfully tape out at one time.

It is a miracle that the chip can be successfully taped out once. In fact, a chip with a new architecture usually needs more than a dozen tapes to pass the test from design to delivery!

The funds for this chip tape-out are enough to make any company heartbroken, so although in theory it doesn’t take much money to start a chip design company.

It seems that only the labor wages and the cost of chip design EDA software are paid. The cost of setting up such a company seems to be very low.

But when they count the flow of funds of the chip design company, they will be dumbfounded and feel deep fear, because chip tape-out is really expensive!

Although Lin Xuan has a system knockoff space, he can simulate all existing chip production equipment in the world, and directly perform tape-out simulation in the knockoff system space.

But the problem is that the tape-out simulation in Shanzhai Space is a simulation, but reality is also reality.

Even if Lin Xuan has streamed the film countless times in the cottage space and succeeded every time, it is confirmed that there is no problem at all.

But the chip still needs to be taped out once, otherwise Lin Xuan can’t explain to the world why he didn’t even tape out, and can directly confirm that the chip he designed will start mass production without any errors!

How can Lin Xuan confirm that the chip has no problems at all without tape-out, and can directly start mass production?

Isn’t this unscientific, Lin Xuan’s brain needs to be dissected? !

And the most important thing is that tape-out is not just Lin Xuan’s business, it is also a chip factory’s business.

Because only after one tape-out, the companies performing tape-out will have corresponding experience and relevant production data.

After mass production, they can quickly expand production as long as they enter relevant data, so this is actually a matter for chip manufacturing factories.

So with the current situation of insufficient funds of Hantang Technology Co., Ltd., it would cost millions of dollars to face that tape-out, which is equivalent to a tape-out cost of six to seven million.

At present, Lin Xuan is the financial resources of Hantang Company. If he wants not to affect the operation of the company, he can only conduct one tape-out, and it must be a success!

Otherwise, with the profitability of Hantang Company, facing the cost of millions of dollars at that time, you will have to wait until the next month to have money.

But fortunately, Lin Xuan has the counterfeit space provided by the system, so Lin Xuan can guarantee that he can successfully stream the film in one go, and then shock the whole Daxia!

But it’s too far to talk about these things now. Now Lin Xuan has not even finished his knowledge of chip design.

Lin Xuan currently doesn’t even have a draft of how to design the first chip. In this situation, the topic of “how to tape out” the final result is still a bit too far away. After all, the current chip research and development progress is actually 0!

That’s right, the current chip development progress is 0, so now it’s time for Lin Xuan to study hard.

Lin Xuan sighed with emotion, ”Learning is endless”, Lin Xuan slowly walked back to the factory, and Ni Guangnan followed Lin Xuan silently.

At this time, Ni Guangnan also deeply felt the huge pressure faced by this disciple Lin Xuan after going through this incident.

In order to help his disciples, he will try his best to teach Lin Xuan all his knowledge about chips and electronics during this period of time!

Let Lin Xuan, a genius with an unforgettable memory, grow up quickly, and then let his disciples design amazing chips for the world, so as to reverse the desperate situation that Hantang Company is facing!

Just like that, the two disappeared at the gate of the iron fence of the company. Their backs are full of perseverance and determination!

…

Time passed slowly, when Lin Xuan fell into a state of frantic study, and Ni Guangnan also devoted himself to teaching Lin Xuan.

Their news interviews this morning, and the articles or interview videos of the reporters were also spread to major newspapers and Internet portals in an instant.

The first update (3000+ words) will be presented, and there will be another update (3000+ words) later (two updates are equivalent to three updates), and how much more will be exploded next, it depends on whether the stimulation given by the brothers is enough. 30,000 characters capped on the day of its release!
