Thunderstorm Asthma? I’ll Just Drain the National Power Grid!

33: Fists and kicks have no eyes? My headbutt will settle any dissent!Su Wanqing turned her head, then actually lowered it to think seriously.

She looked at Lin Yuan, lowered her voice, and said, ”No.”

Lin Yuan was taken aback.

This reaction wasn’t right.

According to the script, shouldn’t she have scolded him, ”Are you crazy?”

”Why not?” he asked instinctively.

”Outside the valley, at the bonfire party in the back mountain, there are at least a thousand ordinary tourists,” Su Wanqing’s voice carried a calm tone, ”You know the coverage range of tactical missiles better than I do.”

Lin Yuan fell silent.

He certainly knew.

One missile, let alone the Black Stone Sect, the entire back mountain would be wiped off the map.

Those innocent tourists, not a single one would survive.

”Tsk.”

Lin Yuan clicked his tongue in regret.

”Then there’s no other way, we can only switch to Plan B.”

Su Wanqing: ”...”

Are you implying that tactical missiles were Plan A?

Then what’s your Plan B? Directly requesting a nuclear strike?!

”What’s your plan?” she asked, suppressing the urge to retort.

”A direct assault definitely won’t work,” Lin Yuan analyzed, ”And infiltration has already been exposed. Now we are in the open, and they are in the dark.”

”The only way is to make ourselves ’dark’ too.”

Su Wanqing’s brows furrowed.

”What do you mean?”

”Fight fire with fire,” Lin Yuan’s eyes lit up, and a familiar mischievous smile appeared on his face.

”Aren’t they holding some kind of ’Mountain God Festival’?

”We’ll go participate in this festival!”

”Actively expose ourselves to them, and let them ’discover’ us!”

Su Wanqing immediately understood Lin Yuan’s intention.

The most dangerous place is the safest place.

Instead of being passively observed by the enemy in the dark, it’s better to jump directly into the spotlight and infiltrate their ranks with a legitimate identity.

”The ’Mountain God Festival’ has a regular event every year called the ’Braveheart Challenge,’” Lin Yuan had obviously done his homework, ”Anyone can go on stage to compete, and the final winner receives the ’Mountain God’s Blessing.’”

He paused, then added, ”Reportedly, they also get a personal audience with the high-ranking members of the Black Stone Sect.”

This was their opportunity.

A legitimate chance to get in touch with the core of the Black Stone Sect!

”I’ll go compete,” Lin Yuan pointed to himself, ”You stay below the stage, responsible for observation and backup.”

”Are you sure?” Su Wanqing looked at him with some doubt.

Although Lin Yuan’s physical fitness far exceeded that of ordinary people, he was still only a D-class. Against a C-class ancient martial arts practitioner, his chances of winning were slim.

Moreover, no one knew what tricks might be hidden on that stage.

”Don’t worry,” Lin Yuan smiled confidently, ”Don’t forget what I rely on to make a living.”

He pointed to his head.

”Brains are also part of strength.”

Su Wanqing looked at his confident demeanor and finally nodded.

”Alright,” she paused, then added, ”Be careful.”

”Don’t worry,” Lin Yuan gave her a look that said ”everything is under control,” then subtly turned half his body.

He raised his wrist, the screen of his tactical terminal flashed, his fingers operated on the virtual keyboard a few times, and then it returned to silence... Half an hour later.

The bonfire party of the Mountain God Festival was bustling with people.

In the very center of the venue, a makeshift arena built from logs attracted everyone’s attention.

Beside the arena, a middle-aged man dressed in Black Stone Sect attire was holding a microphone, shouting hoarsely:

”Is there anyone else! Is there anyone else who wants to challenge our ’Black Stone Warrior’?!”

”As long as you win, you can receive the ’Black Stone Amulet’ bestowed by Lord Mountain God! It will bless you with favorable weather and abundant wealth for a year!”

Below the stage, the tourists were enthusiastic, but only a few dared to go up.

After all, the Black Stone Sect outer disciple on the stage, nearly two meters tall and full of muscles, looked formidable.

Just as the host was about to announce the end of the challenge.

A lazy voice came from the crowd.

”I’ll go.”

Everyone looked in the direction of the voice.

They saw a young man in casual clothes, with a delicate appearance, slowly squeezing out of the crowd while gnawing on a skewer.

It was Lin Yuan.

He finished the food in his hand in a few bites, then flipped and jumped onto the stage.

”Wow!”

A chorus of exclamations and whistles erupted below the stage.

Many young female tourists’ eyes lit up.

Su Wanqing was hidden in a corner of the crowd, her baseball cap pulled low, but her gaze never left the stage.

”Kid, are you sure?”

On the stage, the muscular strongman looked at Lin Yuan’s ”frail” appearance and sneered.

”Fists have no eyes. If I make you cry later, don’t go running to your mom to complain.”

”Don’t worry, I don’t have a mom,” Lin Yuan grinned, ”However, I suggest you hit a little harder, otherwise I’m afraid you won’t have a chance to strike a second time.”

”You’re asking for death!”

The strongman was enraged, he roared and his fist shot straight at Lin Yuan’s face!

This punch was powerful and heavy!

The audience below gasped.

However.

Just as the fist was about to hit Lin Yuan.

Lin Yuan’s foot seemed to trip on something, he stumbled, and his body happened to lean backward.

Whoosh—!

The wind from the punch brushed past his nose.

”Hmm?”

The strongman was stunned, obviously not expecting the opponent to dodge in such a way.

He didn’t think much of it, and with a backhand, he swept his arm towards Lin Yuan’s waist!

But at this moment.

Lin Yuan seemed to have just stabilized, his foot slipped, and he stumbled again, his body strangely lunging forward.

Crack!

His forehead, precisely, happened to hit the strongman’s elbow joint!

”Ow—!”

A scream echoed through the night sky.

The strongman clutched his arm, grimacing in pain, cold sweat pouring down.

He felt as if his elbow joint had been struck by an iron hammer!

”Good!! Well done!” The female tourists who had been smitten by Lin Yuan’s looks before screamed, waving their arms vigorously.

”Hahahahaha, is this guy a comedian? Defeating a muscular man with a headbutt? I’m a fan!” The onlookers laughed heartily.

But on the other side, the local supporters of the Black Stone Sect booed.

”Damn it! This kid is cheating!”

”It’s just good luck! Black Stone Warrior, kill him!”

”Get down! Get down! Don’t make a fool of yourself here!”

Cheers and curses mingled.

Lin Yuan shook his head, looking at the opponent with an ”innocent” expression.

”My apologies, big brother, are you alright? My balance isn’t very good, I’ve always been prone to falling on flat ground since I was a child.”

Strongman: ”...”

Su Wanqing below the stage: ”...”

”I... I’ll fight you to the death!”

The strongman roared, enduring the severe pain, and charged again.

However.

The following scene became even more bizarre.

The strongman delivered a sweeping kick, and Lin Yuan just happened to slip on some sawdust, dodging it.

The strongman threw a punch, and Lin Yuan just happened to bend down to pick up a ”lucky charm” that had fallen on the ground, dodging it again.

The strongman delivered a flying kick, and Lin Yuan just happened to sneeze, his body lowering... The strongman flew directly over his head, falling heavily to the other end of the arena in a dog-eating-shit posture, passing out on the spot.

The entire venue fell silent for three seconds.

Immediately after, a storm of boos and curses erupted!

”Fake fight! Refund!”

”It’s an act, isn’t it? This is f*cking acting, isn’t it! Do you take us for fools?”

”Such a big, strong man only has this much skill? Defeated by a pretty boy with luck? Get down!”

The supporters below were enraged, and a few hot-tempered ones even started throwing things onto the stage, creating chaos.

Lin Yuan stood up, dusted himself off, and faced the anger below with an innocent expression.

”Oh my goodness, that was close, almost got hit,” he muttered softly, then shouted to the crowd below, ”This... this has nothing to do with me! Can’t I just be lucky?”

Just as the situation was about to spiral out of control.

An old and powerful voice, coming from below the stage, overpowered all the noise.

”Heh heh heh, what a lucky young fellow.”

Lin Yuan looked in the direction of the voice.

He saw an old man in a black robe with white hair standing below the stage, looking at him with a smile.

Behind the old man were several Black Stone Sect disciples with calm auras.

It was the elder who presided over the sacrificial ceremony!

His gaze swept back and forth over Lin Yuan, his eyes filled with admiration and curiosity.

Lin Yuan’s heart stirred.

The fish had taken the bait.
