Chapter 2245: Chapter 2239: Xue Ling Doesn’t Need to Go to School

”So, what about Xue Ling, that girl? When will you send her to school?” Qing Zhu glanced at the quietly seated Xue Ling. Cohen has started school, so Xue Ling should be going too, right?

”Her, huh? I’m teaching her at home myself.” Qin Xue honestly never considered sending Xue Ling to school, although she had never asked Xue Ling about it.

Even if she sends her there, she probably wouldn’t be able to handle sitting in a classroom with other kids, right? Or maybe she should ask Xue Ling’s opinion; she can’t just decide her life based on her own ideas.

”You didn’t even ask and just made the decision on your own, is that really okay?” Just as Qin Xue thought about it, Qing Zhu voiced her disapproval.

”Xue Ling, do you want to go to school?” Qin Xue thought about it and then asked. Besides, Qing Zhu also wanted her to attend school, so she’d ask in front of everyone since they were discussing the matter anyway.

”No.” Xue Ling refused without even thinking. She’s not a real child, so what’s the point of going there and being with those little kids?

”Xue Ling, everyone needs to go to school. Look, if you don’t study, you won’t learn knowledge, and without knowledge, you won’t understand manners and won’t have wisdom. You may not understand these principles now since you’re young, but you’ll understand when you grow up. Be a good girl and go to school, okay?” Qing Zhu became anxious upon hearing her refusal. Why wouldn’t the child listen?

”Qing Zhu, I know you’re looking out for me, but I really don’t need to go to school. I can learn a lot at home with Qin Xue. Besides, Qin Xue’s skills are not small, you know this, right?” Xue Ling had no desire to face a horde of unruly kids.

Taking care of these few at home was enough. Faced with a whole bunch more, she feared she might not resist the urge to hit them, especially since they’re not her own little owners.

”Xuexue’s skills may be considerable, but her teaching and a teacher’s teaching are different. The atmosphere when you’re together is also different. You’re still so young. If you don’t go to school, how will you know how to get along with friends? Am I right?” Looking at this child reminded Qing Zhu of herself.

So she sincerely hoped that Xue Ling could live well and lead the life of a normal person. Everyone needs to go to school; it’s part of growing up. If she doesn’t go, she’ll miss out on a lot of fun.

”Qing Zhu, I understand what you mean, but I really don’t need to go to school. If you don’t believe me, you can ask Qin Xue. Besides, I still have to take care of Yu Ze and Yu Chen. If I go to school, what about them?” Xue Ling knew Qing Zhu meant well, but she really didn’t need it.

Others might not know who she is or what she’s capable of, but Qin Xue knew, and so did Yu Ze and Yu Chen. Going to school like this? What a joke. She’d end up dozing off in class, which would only upset the teachers, wouldn’t it? Given the situation, it’s better not to go.

”Xuexue, why won’t your kid listen?” Qing Zhu was finding it difficult to communicate with Xue Ling. Was the generation gap really this big?

Moreover, in this era, shouldn’t children be glad and cherish the opportunity to study if they can? Why did she have to encounter such an oddball?

”Qing Zhu, you don’t understand Xue Ling’s situation, so don’t worry about her matters. I have my arrangements, don’t worry. I won’t let her fall behind.” Qin Xue understood Qing Zhu’s intentions, but considering who she was, how could she let Xue Ling have a bad time? Obviously, that was impossible.
