Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2239: Chapter 2233: As Long As Everything’s Fine

”It can’t be, sis didn’t mention anything about them moving, so she must be just busy. Plus, my brother-in-law needs to work, he’s definitely not home, and sis has to take care of the kids. Where can she possibly go? She’s probably just out shopping for groceries.” Qin Yu thought about the letter his sister wrote to him, which never mentioned anything about them moving, not even a hint, so it definitely wasn’t about moving.

”Lele, you really came, I just knew it would be like this.” When Qing Teng arrived by car at the alley by Qin Xue’s house, she saw the siblings sitting at the door and vaguely overheard one or two sentences of their conversation.

”Qing Teng, what are you doing here?” Qin Jiale looked at the woman who suddenly appeared before her, wondering if this surprise wasn’t a little too big?

”I ran into your classmates at the station, and they told me you came. I was worried this might happen, so I rushed over.” Qing Teng had also come to look for Qin Xue; otherwise, how would she know what Qin Xue was up to?

”Then you know where my sister is, right?” Qin Jiale looked at Qing Teng with hope.

”Yes, put your things in the car, I’ll take you to her.” Qing Teng glanced at the amount of luggage they brought. Luckily she came by car; otherwise, how would they carry it all?

”Really? Thank you, Qing Teng.” Qin Jiale happily thanked Qing Teng.

”No need to be polite. You didn’t inform your sister before coming, did you?” Qing Teng looked at the siblings, knowing instantly they hadn’t informed Qin Xue.

”The timing was a bit rushed, I didn’t have time to say. I thought since we had the address, we’d just come directly.” Qin Yu planned quickly because he was worried since his sister hadn’t written home for a long time.

Seeing Qing Teng, his sister didn’t seem to be in trouble, which eased his mind a lot, though he couldn’t completely relax until he saw his sister.

”Alright, let me take you to your sister first. We’ll talk about the other things when there’s time.” Qing Teng didn’t want to ask if they’d run into any trouble; she thought they were undoubtedly eager to see Qin Xue, so taking them to her seemed best.

”Thank you,” Qin Yu thanked Qing Teng, relieved not to be questioned.

”No need to thank me. Get in the car.” Qing Teng merely smiled.

”Qing Teng, did you say you saw Shushu and the others?” Sitting in the car, Qin Jiale asked Qing Teng.

”Yes, I saw them.” Qing Teng nodded.

”Have they gone home already?” Qin Jiale wondered how they reached their sister’s house while she was still at the station.

”There was a slight problem, but it’s sorted out now and they’ve gone home.” Qing Teng didn’t want them to worry but also didn’t want to say nothing.

”As long as everything’s fine. They rarely come to this place, even though they’ve said their relatives are here. After so many years, their return encountered problems, I wonder if they were scared?” Jiale remembered what Ye Zishu had once said.

”Didn’t they say they were home?” Qing Teng remembered them saying so; why was she now hearing they were visiting relatives?

”I’m not sure either but they have people in the Imperial Capital.” The more Qin Jiale spoke, the more confused she got.

”Never mind everyone else, just take care of yourselves first. Coming here without giving notice, what if something happened?” Qing Teng looked at the siblings, whose bravery astounded her.
