Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2227: Chapter 2221: Parents Take Over the Liquor Shop

Of course, Qin Lei was the one who provided the money. He not only provided the money, but also paid others to help him with the labor.

It couldn’t be helped; he had to manage his business and take care of the family, and couldn’t step away, but the couple discussed this and decided to hire just one person to complete the entire project. They informed the village chief that they would only hire someone to do it, as there were too many affairs at home, and it was impossible otherwise. Later, when the villagers thought about how their family produced a college student, they agreed to his request. Once Qin Lei arranged things at the shop, Qin Yu took him to S Province to check on the winery situation, and later he decided to move there with his wife to manage things.

After their son’s departure, they also planned to go there, and they prepared to transfer their young daughter to a school there as well. Even if they had to pay transfer fees, they had no choice; they had to spend this money. A larger city would greatly benefit the children’s development. So they didn’t begrudge the money; when the children were well, their future lives would be better. Would earning money be difficult then?

It was also Qin Lei’s attitude that allowed their children to bring out their specialties, and in later times, the Qins became big shots in the village, unmatched by any family there. It made those who looked down on them before regretful to the core, for not having established a good relationship with them earlier. The families that got close to them developed well, whereas those who didn’t remained as impoverished.

At that time, even though under Qin Lei’s leadership, Qin Village was far ahead, some families didn’t get their attention and thus lagged significantly. Those people didn’t dare to complain either, because who could challenge their success?

Of course, these are matters of the future, let’s get back to the present.

”You fathers and sons, stop standing there and come to eat. We have to catch the bus tomorrow, so we can’t stay up too late; better to wrap things up early and rest.” Nangong Shulan came out with the food, seeing them still talking, wondering whether they had finished packing or not?

”Coming, Mom. After we go to the Imperial Capital, don’t tire yourselves out too much. I’ve only hired people to look after the shop for a few days; you will need to go over with Dad to manage it, otherwise, I won’t feel at ease. So when you get there, don’t overexert yourselves. If anything comes up, write to us, and if the wine runs out, write to my sister, alright?” Qin Yu worriedly looked at his parents, knowing that the wine was prepared by his sister for him to sell, so without it, he’d have to find his sister.

But Qin Yu wasn’t worried about this; as long as he sorted the medicinal herbs for his sister, it would be fine.

What Qin Yu didn’t know was, later on, Qin Xue was directly preparing everything and having it sent over for them to sell. By then, Qin Xue had opened several shops, and even bought a large truck and hired people to help with deliveries.

”Don’t worry, we’re not children. We don’t need you reminding us so much. You should focus on yourselves.” Qin Lei looked at Nangong Shulan; the couple was combined over a hundred years old. Could they not handle this little bit of business?

Instead, it was the children that worried them; they had never been to the Imperial Capital, and this trip was going far. They felt uneasy, but their son said they were literate and had traveled far before, so going to the Imperial Capital wouldn’t be a problem for them.

What Qin Yu didn’t know was, no matter how capable they were, as parents, they couldn’t help but worry. So no matter what, the children were always on their parents’ minds.

What Qin Yu didn’t know was how much his parents worried about them; otherwise, he would feel even more uncomfortable. His parents were concerned about them, just as he was concerning over his parents. With all three children leaving their side, the parents were left alone, which was really heartbreaking.
