Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2242: Chapter 2236: Aunt Believes You

”Mm-hmm, that’s good. I’ll take you to see your little brothers.” Yu Ze had stepped out to use the bathroom, and now that he was done, he naturally headed indoors.

”Okay.” Qin Yu had no objections and followed behind the child.

Earlier, Qin Xue had only brought the siblings over, and then she went back to her own tasks, so now it was just Qin Jiale and her siblings following Yu Ze into the inner room.

Qin Xue felt comfortable because the person she saw was Yu Ze. If it had been the other two, she wouldn’t have done this.

Yu Ze has always behaved unlike a typical child, so she never regarded him as a child in her actions.

Even when he was with Yu Chen, it was the same. She simply saw Yu Ze differently, sometimes even speaking to him in an adult manner.

Therefore, she trusted that Yu Ze would take good care of his younger siblings. She was confident in this.

”Auntie, Uncle.” Yu Chen heard his brother’s voice and wondered why he hadn’t come back for so long, but then heard two familiar voices approaching.

”Yu Chen dear.” Qin Jiale opened her arms to catch the child running towards her, almost getting knocked over by the momentum.

”Auntie, I missed you, and Uncle too.” Yu Chen was a fair child, never playing favorites.

”Such a sweet talker.” Qin Jiale looked at her two very different nephews, wondering how they had grown. Although they looked identical, their personalities were vastly different.

”Because Yu Chen speaks the truth.” Yu Chen looked at his aunt; he wasn’t wrong.

”All right, Auntie believes you. But what are you all up to now?” Qin Jiale asked, noticing the children surrounded by sand everywhere.

”Auntie, we’re drawing with sand.” Cohen responded to Qin Jiale’s question.

”Whose idea was this?” Qin Yu asked after hearing that.

”It was Brother’s idea.” Yu Chen stood straight and pointed at Yu Ze.

”Can you tell us why you came up with this idea?” Qin Yu looked at his older nephew. Being a thinker is good, but isn’t this a bit advanced? It’s truly remarkable that a child so young could come up with this.

”Because we didn’t have paper or pens, but we wanted to draw, so we just drew on the ground. Then we found the space too narrow, so we gathered some sand, and it turned out like this.” How could Yu Ze explain it to Qin Yu? He had seen people doing sand art, and it was truly beautiful—a handful of sand could create whatever you wanted, which was really impressive.

But these weren’t appropriate words for him to say, so he came up with a reason that made sense.

He was actually trying to cultivate Cohen and Yu Chen’s interests. Learning more is always a good thing, but to keep this up they’d need a lot of paper and pens, which they lacked.

Therefore, they had to come up with other methods, and he accidentally spotted a pile of sand at the doorway. It was perfect, setting just the right tone. That’s how this current scene came to be.

”Children who enjoy thinking are good kids. In the future, think more and you’ll come up with more ideas. If you have confidence, you can carry a notebook and pen with you, and whenever you think of something, draw it. I assure you, you’ll find it’s the most beautiful drawing you’ve ever made.” Qin Yu looked at his nephew, withholding the fact that he had once had the same heartfelt desire as a child, but didn’t pursue his aspirations or follow through with this idea.
