Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1686: Chapter 1680: Business Material

That’s why Cheng Kunmin thinks this way; their business has been taken away quite a bit, but returning customers still mostly eat at their place.

Because they all say that other places aren’t authentic and don’t taste good, they always choose their place, but new customers don’t know that. So to let new customers try their pancakes, he has to find a way to keep people coming.

Cheng Kunmin also doesn’t know who Qin Xue and the others are; otherwise, he wouldn’t think like that. If Qin Xue doesn’t support her own family’s products, wouldn’t that be embarrassing?

“No problem with that, can you calculate how much it is in total?” Qin Xue took out two ten-dollar bills from her pocket.

“Miss, the pancakes total nine dollars sixty. Don’t you want some porridge or soy milk? It’s the perfect match with pancakes.” Cheng Kunmin quickly calculated the pancake cost and told Qin Xue.

“We’ll eat as we walk, not convenient to carry. How about this, you help fill our water bottles with soy milk.” Qin Xue asked him to fill their water bottles for them.

“Alright, since there are many of you and you bought a lot, let’s call it ten dollars. If you find it tasty, come back and eat with us next time you come to town.” Cheng Kunmin took the water bottles and didn’t forget to retain repeat customers.

“Of course.” Qin Xue was more and more satisfied, thinking she could go back and talk to her parents, suggest letting this person manage things, so her parents wouldn’t have to worry as much and wouldn’t have to work so hard. Just pay him every month and occasionally check on the store’s situation.

“Xuexue, this person knows how to do business. If properly trained, he’d be a great asset.” Nangong Beiying spoke up lightly beside her.

Nangong Beiying didn’t expect Qin Lei had such an eye for talent, able to find such a good helper. If it were her, she’d train him well and let him create more wealth for her.

Nangong Beiying is a businesswoman now, looks at everything from a business perspective. Cheng Kunmin showed her value, but she doesn’t know if Qin Lei and the others can see it.

“I’m observing how he’s doing, to see if he can take on the responsibility.” Qin Xue said this much just to see how he handled things. Since his way of doing things satisfies her, she certainly wouldn’t let such talent go to waste.

With someone so capable helping her parents, she’d feel much more at ease. And she wonders what he did before, being so keen on observing people’s reactions, yes, observing and gauging people’s thoughts.

Qin Xue noticed his actions; he introduces and talks based on people’s dress and behavior, neither showing favoritism nor dissatisfaction. A person like him must have gone through a lot to be like this today. Having someone like him working for their family, Qin Xue feels truly lucky.

“Kunmin.” While Qin Xue was thinking, a gentle voice came from behind.

“Qingrou, why are you here?” Cheng Kunmin looked at the woman with a full smile and was stunned.

“I came to see you.” The woman called Qingrou rolled up her sleeves and started helping to clear the tables and dishes.

“Qingrou, I can handle this myself, you should go back, or your dad will get mad again if he finds out.” Cheng Kunmin looked at Yin Qingrou with a slight headache.

“Kunmin, please don’t make me leave, okay? I’ll talk to my dad, he will understand me.” Yin Qingrou’s face, initially smiling, stiffened; she didn’t expect Cheng Kunmin would send her away.

“I’m not worth your time like this, please leave. I’m working now. We’ll talk everything out after I get off work.” Cheng Kunmin felt a headache. He’s just a mule driver, not worth such dedicated effort from her.
