Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1653: Chapter 1647: Want to Partner Up

Nangong Beiying also never went on blind dates because of this, and she was secretly in love with Dongfang Shuo at the time, so she wasn’t in the mood to think about matchmaking.

Because of this, in her previous life, it could be said that she never had the slightest bit of romance with a man.

“Yingying, what are you thinking about, I’ve been calling you and you didn’t respond.” Qin Xue nudged Nangong Beiying’s arm.

“Nothing much, just remembered something from the past. What did you just say?” Nangong Beiying came back to her senses and asked Qin Xue.

“I said, once we go back, I’m going to follow you around,” Qin Xue joked, looking at the dazed Nangong Beiying.

“Sure.” Nangong Beiying had no objections. She was in need of help right now, and Qin Xue joining her was a good idea, so of course she wouldn’t oppose it.

“Wow, are you going to say yes even if I sell you?” Qin Xue was speechless, thinking that Nangong Beiying was just too good to her.

“Haven’t you already sold me?” Nangong Beiying was referring to Qin Xue’s insistence on pairing her with Xiao Qi.

“When did I ever do that?” Qin Xue had no recollection of selling Nangong Beiying. She didn’t remember ever doing such a thing.

“Isn’t Xiao Qi the case?” Nangong Beiying looked at Qin Xue, as if saying this girl didn’t want to admit what she’d done.

“Oh, that… I just thought he was a good guy, so I wanted you to be with him. I didn’t make a penny from him, so it doesn’t count.” Qin Xue thought it was for Nangong Beiying’s own good, so it shouldn’t be considered selling her off. At most, she’d just played matchmaker once.

“Alright, if you say it doesn’t count, then it doesn’t. I haven’t received a penny from him anyway.” Nangong Beiying also joked back.

“Why not make him hand over all his assets to you once we’re back?” Qin Xue thought this was a good idea.

“If you want me to die early, then go ahead.” Nangong Beiying really wanted to ask who her real bestie was. Were they still good sisters, when all she did was set her up for these things?

“Of course I don’t want you to die. It’s just that there’s nothing wrong with it; you handle the finances, he works, and it’s a win-win situation. How does that mean I want you to die early?” Qin Xue looked at Nangong Beiying, baffled.

“Annoying.” Nangong Beiying was really at her wits’ end with Qin Xue. Did she think managing a family business was that easy?

“Alright, I don’t understand your situation. I’ll just focus on my little business.” Qin Xue thought she should expand her business once she got back.

Even if it was just pickles, she wanted to turn it into a nationwide chain. That way, who would dare look down on her? Even if they tried to play dirty, they’d have to think twice.

“Once we get back, let’s work on instant noodles together, and make some quick-serve fast food.” Nangong Beiying had been pondering this idea for quite some time now.

“That’s a great idea, I’m in. I just don’t have much funding, so I might not be able to invest a lot.” Qin Xue immediately agreed after hearing Nangong Beiying’s suggestion. In the future, the instant noodle market was huge, and thinking about that kind of market and profit, Qin Xue had no hesitation in agreeing to Nangong Beiying’s plan.

Because partnering with Nangong Beiying had one advantage — she only needed to provide the money while Nangong Beiying handled the operations, sparing lazy Qin Xue from managing things herself.

“It’s okay, invest whatever you have, I’ll cover the rest.” Nangong Beiying thought it was nothing.

Just last year alone, she had made quite a bit of money, so investing in an industry was within her reach. She wanted to help Qin Xue get involved just to give her a hand.
