Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1663: Chapter 1657: Secretly Following

“Come out, who is there sneaking around?” Chu Molin shouted loudly as they approached the treehouse.

“Come out, stop following us. If you have something to say, just say it.” Qin Xue added to Chu Molin’s words.

“Xuexue, what’s wrong?” Nangong Beiying and the others went on alert.

“Someone is following us.” Qin Xue calmly glanced behind her.

“What, someone is following us? Where?” Everyone listened quietly, looking around, then became confused. Were they overreacting? Where was the person? No one was seen.

“You’re not coming out, are you? Then we’re leaving. If wolves come later, we won’t care.” Qin Xue spoke very calmly.

“Xue’er, let’s go.” Chu Molin took Qin Xue’s hand, preparing to leave. As for whoever was following them, he had no interest in knowing.

“Okay, everyone, let’s go. Speed up your pace. If you don’t want to stay here to feed the wolves, walk faster.” Qin Xue nodded, following Chu Molin’s steps. She was also telling the people behind that there were really wolves here, so if they didn’t want to die, they should keep up or come out.

“Sister-in-law, got it.” Everyone took turns carrying Gong Wuyou and Tong Xia, so nobody would get too tired since the road down the mountain was still difficult to walk.

“Don’t leave me behind.” Munara never expected that when they said they were leaving, they would really leave. Listening to the quiet forest, she felt a bit scared, so when they turned to leave, she couldn’t control her fear and came out.

“It’s you, why are you following us?” Qing Teng didn’t expect the person following them to be Munara.

“I want to leave the village with you.” Munara replied obediently after hearing Qing Teng’s question.

“Nonsense, go back. Does your father know that you came out?” Qing Teng was somewhat annoyed. Could she stop bothering her?

“I’ve left him a letter.” Munara said timidly.

“You… while it’s not dark yet, go back quickly. Otherwise, when it gets dark, the wolves will come out to hunt, and it’ll be dangerous for you then.” Qing Teng was really speechless, leaving a letter to run away; she really thought of everything.

“No, I want to go with you. I’ve thought about it for a long time. From now on, I want to be with you.” Munara looked pitifully at Qing Teng.

“But I don’t want to be with you. Zakeer, send her back, and then you come find us in the Imperial Capital.” Qing Teng said, turning and leaving.

“Sister, please let me go with you. I’ve really thought it through. From now on, I want to be with you. I don’t want to stay in the village anymore. I explained everything to Dad in the letter. He won’t say anything.” The word ‘sister’ eventually came out of Munara’s mouth.

“Calling me sister won’t help, go back.” Qing Teng had a headache.

“I’m not going back, I want to go with you all. If you disagree, I won’t go back either; I’ll go out on my own.” Munara said, then directly walked ahead of them.

“Munara, what exactly do you want?” Qing Teng’s voice boomed out coldly.

“To leave the village. I wanted to go with you initially, but if you don’t want me to, I’ll go by myself. Anyway, it’s my first time out, and there are still many things outside that I haven’t seen.” Munara looked at Qing Teng aggrievedly. She realized she didn’t want to oppose Qing Teng anymore.

Although Qing Teng was not born from the same mother as her, they shared the same father. All the wrongs were the father’s, so what did it have to do with them? She didn’t want to resent Qing Teng anymore.

Truth be told, Qing Teng was much more pitiable. She could still grow up beside her father, and her father loved her so much. So what could she not be satisfied with?

In contrast, Qing Teng never received any of her father’s love. She didn’t even know who her own father was. From now on, she would treat her well and make up for the father’s mistakes. So, knowing they were leaving today, she left a letter for her father and secretly followed them out of the village.
