Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1433: Sunrise Inner City Part 50

The 5 seconds seemed like an eternity, with the overall boss’s health points dropping by over 30 percent.

It lasted nearly as long as the concentrated attack phase. Of course, once the 5-second mark was over, FreeLancer began to see his health drop.

However, Xu Feng still had his healing skill available to sustain him.

In other words, the first 5 seconds caused the bosses to self-inflict themselves, whereas the last 5 seconds were FreeLancer turning into a sandbag for them to hit.

”I-I’ve survived.” Even though he was still beaten down like a ragdoll, FreeLancer was the first tank that managed to survive the concentrated attack phase.

Not to mention, he still had a ton of buffs active and could now pincer the swordsman NPC down to the ground.

Without the other 9 bosses assisting the swordsman NPC, the pressure was alleviated.

And Xu Feng didn’t even need to shotcall for everyone to quickly assume the original formation as they continued to fight their respective battle.

”You know you caused many jaws to drop, right?” Carmen also returned near Xu Feng’s side and whispered softly.

”Hmm, are their jaws broken?” Xu Feng raised an eyebrow. He was putting up an ignorant act on purpose.

”Forget it,” she shook her head and resumed battling the Swordsman NPC. It was pretty clear to her that he didn’t want to divulge on the topic when he decided to play dumb.

After all, even though Xu Feng displayed something miraculous, their team was still falling like flies.

The boss’s attack damage was no joke, and many squishy players were melted on the spot.

In fact, even Carmen had died a few times from stealing aggro occasionally for her serious damage output.

Half an hour went by, and the Swordsman NPC was finally down to its last 10% health.

”Alright, in the next shield break, blast it with your ultimate.” Xu Feng exclaimed. He couldn’t afford to let the Swordsman NPC run amok anymore.

FreeLancer was starting to lose more and more health despite receiving quite a lot of healer support.

This goes to show that its shredding ability was rising and starting to get really dangerous.

As if that wasn’t enough, Xu Feng decided to give a challenge.

”For this specific shield break, I’ll have a separate chart of damage dealt and reward the top 3 with something good.” He enticed them, almost like how adults use candies to entice their children to behave.

”Oho, top 3 damage dealers!”

”But the Guild Leader and Guild Commander take the spots already!”

Although they were enticed, some still kept a rational mind. They had personally witnessed Xu Feng’s damage skyrocket to the number 1 spot during the previous concentrated phase.

”Relax, the Guild Commander and I are excluded.” He chuckled lightly. The rewards would never entice Carmen, especially when she had basically unlimited access to the warehouse.

Sure enough, the moment it was stated that they wouldn’t be included in the damage chart, they heaved a big sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, some of the tankers glanced at Xu Feng occasionally. They couldn’t speak up because they needed to maintain focus on the bosses that they were tanking on.

”The tankers don’t need to be disappointed. You will all be awarded accordingly for your effort in tanking these tough bosses.” Naturally, Xu Feng wouldn’t forget about their contribution.

”Guild Leader?” Sweet Sky faked a sneeze and asked softly.

”...”

Truly, one should never underestimate any members of the Vanguard Guild.

Even someone like Sweet Sky prioritized rewards.

”Healers will also be included.” If it weren’t for the difficulty of this dungeon, then he would have never been so generous with the rewards.

A few seconds later, the swordsman NPC’s shield finally shattered for the nth time.

”NOW!” Xu Feng exclaimed.

”Lightning Bolt!”

”Chain Galactic Storm!”

”Swirling Storm of Fire!”

Almost immediately, everyone began to blast their strongest spells, with the Arcane Mages, Sorcerers, and Summoners shooting them without a care in the world.

Since Xu Feng said he only wanted the boss to be down without emphasizing caring about the others, this was indirect approval for them to cause collateral damage.

”You guys are unbelievable!” FreeLancer also realized why the tanks were being commended. They were going to be blasted alongside the bosses in general.

After all, the shield break occurred while the concentrated attack phase was active again. In other words, those tanks had to worry not just the bosses, but also their teammates with friendly fire.

”Oh my god!” An unlucky tank that was chosen first got sandwiched completely.

”Heavens have mercy!” The second tank, who got his name listed by the system, cried in agony. He didn’t even get a chance to move when he was in the line of fire of everything.

One after another, the tanks continued to fall because the healers weren’t supporting them anymore. Instead, they were supporting the heavy hitters in the team to ensure the swordsman NPC would be down.

”Some of you may die, but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.” No one knew who said this statement aloud, but everyone agreed.

Let the tanks die!

They were meat shields anyway!

We don’t agree!!!

Needless to say, the tanks were fuming at whoever spouted those words.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t argue as they would immediately be the next target in the concentrated attack phase.

Of course, only the tanks that had picked up the incense were suffering like this. The ones who didn’t get to pick up incense had a rather leisurely life.

They simply took a back seat and were chilling.

Life’s good!

What a shame that I wasn’t fast enough to pick up the incense~

Ahh~ I also wanted to pick up the incense and get targeted like some famous celebrity!

All these tanks that were initially vengeful at being slower than the others were gleefully laughing inwardly.

They would rather forgo such GMP if they had to suffer like this.

After all, when almost all the tanks got sliced and diced, Xu Feng would readily revive the fallen tank to continue to grab the aggro.

”Keep it up, guys!” Shortly after reviving three tanks immediately, Xu Feng told the other DPS to continue what they were doing.
