Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1431: Sunrise Inner City Part 48

CLANK!

SHINK!

SWOOSH!

”Healer, I need healing!” A tank cried aloud when the system prompt revealed his name was concentrated.

What was the concentrated state?

It meant that the person chosen to be concentrated would immediately face the aggro of all 10 bosses.

Alas, even though the call for healing was early. The tank’s health points got absolutely melted on the spot after 3 seconds.

Soon, another tank’s name showed up, and their facial expression quickly turned pale.

”Why me?” They smiled bitterly. Despite the despair, they still made sure to activate all their defenses and avoid running to the crowd of DPS or squishy classes.

In the meantime, the healers began buffing and supporting him, trying their best to keep them alive.

And Xu Feng was also doing the same. He was a great healer, but there was nothing he could do when the enemies literally wiped the floor with his tankers.

Although he could heal insanely high, the other healers couldn’t replicate the same feat.

Therefore, once the bosses concentrated their whole attack on one particular tank, they remained alive because of his healing. But once his healing skill went on cooldown and required the other healers to heal, it wasn’t enough to nullify the damage output from the enemies.

”Try your best to run and avoid the attacks. Your defense won’t be enough to tank the entire duration.” Xu Feng calmly said. He didn’t raise his voice or sound in a panicked tone to avoid putting too much pressure on the tankers.

Of course, the warning was also quite unnecessary at a glance since they all knew what to do. But it was the calming and soothing voice that was required to let them know that they weren’t alone.

Sure enough, hearing Xu Feng’s voice, the tank stopped panicking much and began to sidestep some of the enemies’ attacks.

Nevertheless, that didn’t save him much as he was soon bodied by a Berserker, who then proceeded to swing them straight to the DPSer.

”Ah, life is fun.” The tanker closed his eyes and gracefully accepted his fate.

Without any surprises, the moment Xu Feng’s healing skills were placed on cooldown, its health depleted faster than someone’s credit card during their impulsive spending spree.

Like a fly that had been swatted, the tanker plopped to the ground, its health points completely zeroed.

When the next tank in line received the callout for their name, they nearly cried pitifully.

Thankfully, the concentrated attack phase was over, and the bosses began to split among themselves to their respective incense targets.

”The concentration is over. Everyone, back to your position and focus on the swordsman NPC.” Xu Feng quickly called out and told the healer to start reviving the fallen members.

Despite the tankers being the main priority, the bosses’ attacks were AoE. In other words, some unlucky individuals were bound to be caught up in the attack and were melted on the spot.

If their tanks couldn’t even survive for more than 5 seconds, then it only made sense that the squisher players would die in less than 2 seconds.

While the battle resumed to a relatively normal phase, Xu Feng made sure to glance at the 10 bosses’ overall HP.

’Our DPS is still lacking a lot.’ He frowned slightly. Other than the swordsman NPC, whom they focused fire on first, the other bosses had over 95% health points left.

As for the swordsman NPC, it had just gone down to 90%.

This sounded alright until one glanced at the raid timer that had begun since the bosses were aggroed: 23:15.

23 minutes 15 seconds had gone by.

Although there wasn’t any time limit, Xu Feng was worried about the fatigue building up in his members. After all, one had to remain at a constant high focus to continue the raid.

One slight mistake would instantly result in their death.

Not to mention, his mana was depleting at a rapid rate to keep his Domain Field intact to buff his team.

Without the Domain Field active, the team’s overall DPS would decrease.

That wasn’t to say the team sucked in outputting damage, but it was the boss room design in which they take damage in different calculations.

”Alright, the swordsman shield is about to be broken. Save your powerful spells once you hear the shield cracking.”

Xu Feng shotcalled once again and reminded them not to waste their spells.

Even though it was common knowledge, without the constant reminder, it was hard for them to remember well.

Think of it when you’re so heated in the moment, you tend to forget most knowledge.

”The next concentrated attack is coming soon!” Carmen suddenly informed him.

He glanced at the timer and noticed the time bar was 5 seconds. Yet the shield break would occur around the 2-second mark.

”As soon as shield break happens, the tanks are to scatter away immediately. Only the one with the swordsman incense remains.” He had to take a risk.

Although no time limit was set, if the swordsman NPC wasn’t taken down. It would soon shred the tank’s armor like it was paper.

By then, no tanks would remain alive to hold off the remaining bosses.

”Yes, Guild Leader!”

The members’ eyes were set ablaze. Even if Xu Feng didn’t emphasize or specify anything, the fact that he said it showed how significant it was.

Their Guild Leader wasn’t one to make instruction or commentary for no reason.

As despicable as he might be, he was also a very practical person. Or at least that was the impression Xu Feng had given them as opposed to his attitude and behavior toward Carmen and Zhao Kai.

”Get ready!” Sure enough, once the 2-second mark was reached, the swordsman NPC’s shield shattered, effectively bringing it to a vulnerable state where it would receive 2x damage.

Not to mention, it was incapable of moving or defending itself during this sensitive time.

”Fire in the hole!”

”Blast the swordsman!”

”Eat my explosion~!”

In the blink of an eye, a series of colorful explosions appeared in front of the crowd.

However, Xu Feng’s expression darkened when he saw the concentrated attack target: the tank that took the swordsman Incense.

And amidst the bombardment, the swordsman NPC’s shield began to recover to full, its eyes glinting in a flashing light toward the tanker in front of it.

’What a trash RNG...’ Xu Feng twitched his mouth.
