Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1418: Sunrise Inner City Part 35

Others often think that being tanks means they have the highest health points.

But to be more precise, healers actually have more health than tanks.

The only reason why not many knew about that was simply that tanks had a lot of defensive and shielding skills, which created the illusion of their health point being high.

In comparison, healers were known to be squishy, so even with high health points. Without proper defensive skills or maneuvering, they were always easily killed.

However, a great healer would be even more annoying than a tank to be killed.

And precisely so that this Breaking Shield item was amazing for Xu Feng.

With this item, he could save his offensive spells on the enemy’s health points directly and not their shielding or defensive skill.

Not only would the enemy be taken by surprise, but it would also enable Xu Feng to thoroughly thrash his opponent.

The Legendary fragment and Breaking Shield were automatically stored in his inventory.

But what about the internal auction?

Some might ask that, but let’s be real.

Who had the highest GMP among the team?

Other than Xu Feng, only Veronica and Carmen could possibly match him in terms of GMP.

However, neither of these two would ever attempt to outbid him.

Not to mention, nobody in the guild would dare to have a bidding war against him.

After all, this was the Guild Leader’s prestige.

No matter how fair a guild wanted to be, there were bound to be some exceptions.

Such a situation was no different than having the laws, but some still break them.

That was just how life was in reality.

Sometime later, Xu Feng finished organizing the loot that would be available for the internal auction.

It was a good thing that the System offered this kind of feature, which saved him a lot of time and trouble.

’Phew, let me check the voting process.’ He opened the list and wasn’t surprised to see the two people he voted for held the highest votes.

Sweet Sky naturally took the undisputed first place, mainly because of her bright and gentle personality. Even when people messed up, she didn’t call them out or scold them. Instead, she quietly assisted them and continued on without any resentment.

As for Cindersong, her popularity was equally high. Let’s not mention her beauty. The fact that she was a competent dps without disrupting or making anyone’s life difficult was already a top point.

Once the voting was completed, there was no surprise dark horse.

Sweet Sky took the crown, with Cindersong being the runner-up.

”Congrats to you two.” Xu Feng clapped his hands and praised. ”You will earn additional GMP, which can be used for the upcoming internal auction right away.”

The moment that was said, nearly every member was taken aback.

How could their Guild Leader be making stuff up on the spot?

Alas, even though some were a bit surprised, they didn’t complain much.

Given their knowledge of these two, they were sure their GMP was definitely abundant.

With or without that additional GMP, they highly doubted they could outbid them.

”Thank you, Guild Leader.” Both Sweet Sky and Cindersong thanked him sincerely.

Xu Feng nodded and opened up the internal auction.

”Although I won’t restrict the number of items you can bid, try to be honorable and not hoard everything.” He declared, giving them free rein on what to buy and how much to bid.

It was all their choice.

Almost immediately, the epic items were bid on like crazy.

”Damn, 5,000 GMP in one go?” A tank whose wealth was barely around 6,000 GMP cried out in alarm.

”At least you can still continue bidding...” Another tank rolled its eyes with a disgruntled voice. They only had 4,000 GMP left on their wallet.

In other words, they were already eliminated from even participating in the bidding. Now, some might begin to question why their GMP was so low when they were the supposed elites.

Well, there was something called an irresponsible spender.

Yup, that was correct!

Nearly all those who couldn’t even put out 5,000 GMP were spendthrifts who waste them in the blink of an eye.

”Ugh, if I knew better, I wouldn’t have spent so much...”

”Be quiet. I’ve already tried my best to save up when I heard the Guild Leader was doing a raid. But still, I can never beat those hoarders.”

”Excuse me? Rather than calling us hoarders, you might as well call yourself a clown for not spending wisely.”

As soon as someone tried to complain about those who were rich in GMP, a war nearly erupted among them.

After all, the ones rich with GMP were those who spent very wisely and made all sorts of calculations before deciding on using it.

”Ahem, please prioritize harmony.” Veronica promptly cleared her throat and warned the members not to get too heated. It was fine to have casual banter, but there was no need for such banter in an internal auction.

The GMPs were all earned and spent under their own discretion.

If they really wish to blame someone, then they could only blame themselves for not being wise enough to save a lot of GMP.

Sure enough, with Veronica making a point, those who had barely any GMP could only scoot aside and bid for the lower-value items.

But still, even though some items were rare or uncommon, their effect was quite beneficial.

And as if a consensus had been made, these poor players didn’t meet any competition.

It was a clear sign that the others were willing to forego the items for them.

They wanted to say thank you, until they saw their gleeful and teasing expression, almost as if they were saying: You’re welcome, little beggar.

The gratefulness in their heart quickly dispelled.

What replaced it was a burning desire to earn a ton of wealth and repay this favor tenfold.

Just you wait... Thirty years on the east side of the river and thirty years on the west side of the river---

Okay, before they could even open their mouth to recite it, they realized other fellow poor players were outbidding them on the very same item.

Motherfu---

”How dare you try to outbid me with your measly 4,000 GMP!!!”
