Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 967: More Dirt

As Xu Feng and Carmen got into gear to scout the exit path, the other players remained unaware of the danger they had been accelerating with each action.

”Hahah, these elephants really drop Resonance Shard. Itʼs literally free real estate.”

”I know, right. They donʼt even retaliate much and only use their dumb long nose to defend themselves.”

”This is just a punching bag monster for us to test our damage and how fast we can kill them.”

It wasnʼt just one or two groups who had discovered that the Brown Fold Elephant was the easier target to kill.

In fact, many groups had discovered this fact and had already started to commence a killing spree. When compared to some agile monsters or those who would retaliate and increase the difficulties, these Brown Fold Elephants were like a heavenʼs gift to them.

So long as one found an elephant, they simply needed to take a few minutes to kill it. Moreover, the return rate of Resonance Shard was extremely high.

Every 1 out of 2 elephants dropped either 1-3 Resonance Shards.

Previously, many thought the Resonance Shard was some rare item that could be used once they passed the trial. But with this development, many began to shift their mindset and believed it was just offering them more chances to retain their identity as trial contenders even if they happened to fail one of them.

This was especially true for those who were eliminated at the battle royale round and regained their status on the second round.

Nobody could understand their horror and emotion when sitting in the eliminated section.

Meanwhile, in another area, Fernando suddenly shouted loudly. ”Kelso, thereʼs another elephant spotted by my scout. Letʼs cooperate and split the loot half and half.”

”Sure, if itʼs uneven loot, then you can have the remaining one. Whoever finds an elephant shall have priority to gain the most in an uneven distribution.” Kelso said and readily made suggestions for their upcoming cooperation.

Fernando didnʼt find anything wrong with it. ”Sounds like a deal.”

Ever since Kelso saw how Fernando outright blasted Donald in front of everyone on his behalf, the two had become somewhat close. After all, Fernando even offered Kelsoʼs members a Resonance Shard to regain their status as trial contenders.

The two were like buddies as they swiftly made their way toward the location found by Fernandoʼs subordinate.

Meanwhile, watching them at a far distance, the groupʼs expression was rather perplexed by the scene.

”When did those two Branch Leaders become so friendly?” Azalea raised an eyebrow and asked. She was very much in shock as she knew exactly how each branch leader in the Cyclone Guild harbored sinister thoughts toward each other. Her boss was no exception either, as she had made many plans in the past in hopes of demeaning the other branch leaders.

”I can only say that the Malefic Order Guild played a very good card.” Floral Witch pursed her lips. ”What a good Reckonizer they played. Now our Cyclone Guild is going to have more internal struggle than ever. They would be joyous to know weʼll be busy internally.”

She could easily understand why Kelso and Fernando would behave like best buddies. They both were schemed against and hit hard. But in the face of an adversary, they decided to work together and ultimately sacrificed one for the other.

Now that both of them shared the same hatred, how could they not unite and work together?

Although it wasnʼt extreme to say that their years of actions were nullified, at the very least, it was evident that the two would start to make up and collaborate more.

And since the current Guild Leader of Cyclone Guild planned on stepping down soon, he would be more than happy to see the branch leader finally uniting. After all, once he stepped down and joined the grand elder group, he would only benefit when the Cyclone Guild was more unified.

After hearing Floral Witchʼs explanation, Azalea started to hiss coldly. She came to a realization that the Reckonzier was indeed one good schemer.

”Should we start mending our strained relationship with the Vanguard Guild? Their town is about to open, and if we get to earn a foothold in their plane through the town, we can still contend against Kelso and Fernandoʼs collaboration.” Azalea raised the suggestion.

To be honest, she didnʼt despise Xu Fengʼs behavior.

Had their situation been swapped, then she would also behave the same way—no, she might even break off the relationship entirely.

Floral Witch pondered for a moment and ultimately agreed. They already encountered a few Brown Fold Elephants and obtained some Resonance Shards.

Moreover, when she recalled the final words of Xu Feng, she felt an itch somewhere in her body. It was as if the itch was warning her constantly to stop hunting and find the exit path instead.

”Letʼs try to meet up with Lin Feng and join them. I have a bad feeling about these defenseless elephants. And if we were to encounter Reckonizer, kill him without hesitation. This kind of malicious player needed to be eliminated to prevent further trouble.” Floral Witch declared.

Elsewhere, a certain individual known as Reckonizer suddenly sneezed loudly.

”Not again. How many times has this been?” Reckonizer cried aloud and wondered what crime he had committed again.

While Reckonizer remained confused and wondered if his physical body was sick, the third round continued on regardless of his pain.

Back at Floral Witchʼs area, Azalea had already relayed the order to the group.

”Get ready, weʼre going to be finding Lin Fengʼs group and searching for the exit path. At the same time, if we spot Reckonizer, then itʼs a kill on sight order!” Azalea emphasized the last sentence heavily.

The Floral Branch members all shouted in unison, ”Order received! If we see that bastard Reckonzier, we shall give him a good blast.”

Pleased by their attitude, Azalea clapped her hands to make haste. Similar to Floral Witchʼs concern, she had also been somewhat suspicious of the defenseless elephants by now, and didnʼt dare to wait and find out what it was.
