Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

Tower climbing in a row! Ogre strongman! Undead!Outside the trial tower at this moment.

After watching Ye Xingyu enter the trial tower.

The tower body in his direction continuously lit up with new layers of light.

In the blink of an eye, he had passed the 10th floor!

The lights were bright and dazzling!

Tens of thousands of players gathered below the trial tower.

Couldn’t help but erupt in a lively cheer:

”Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!!! Yeah! Congratulations to Fallen God for successfully clearing the 10th floor! His speed in climbing the tower is much faster than we imagined!”

”As expected of Fallen God. The total time spent clearing the first 10 floors was no more than 4 minutes. On average, 20 seconds per floor. Including the time spent climbing inside the tower, Fallen God almost instantly killed monsters on every floor!”

”Otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to climb the tower so fast.”

”Fallen God is worthy of his name!”

”Falling Nine Heavens’s speed in climbing the tower, among all participating players, must be the first, right?”

”Hmph! You guys! Your demands on Fallen God are too low!”

”Only the 10th floor? What’s the rush? Listen to me, the real show is yet to come!”

A smart person commented.

It was incredibly lively outside the trial tower.

Filled with the lively discussions of players.

Just as everyone was discussing.

The lights of the trial tower were rapidly lighting up, floor by floor.

11th floor!

12th floor!

13th floor!

14th floor!

In a flash.

Ye Xingyu cleared 4 floors consecutively.

Officially stepping into the realm of the 15th floor.

Inside the 15th floor of the trial tower!

The monster level appearing at this time had already reached level 29!

Higher than Ye Xingyu himself!

Completely different from the difficulty of the 1st floor.

The monsters here were a crowded group of Ogre Brutes!

Each one was over 2 meters tall.

And more than three times the width of a normal person!

Every Ogre Brute had a robust physique!

With a bulging belly like a woman in her tenth month of pregnancy!

They looked like top sumo wrestlers from the neighboring Japan!

The total number of Ogre Brutes reached 50!

18 more than the number of Thunder Swallows on the 10th floor!

It can be seen that.

The higher the floor of the trial tower.

The difficulty increased exponentially!

[Ogre Brute!]

Level: 29

Monster Type: Normal

HP: 11600 / 11600

Attack: 1276 ~ 1402

Defense: 599

Skills: Bloodlust! Strongarm Skullcrush!

---

Ogre Brutes also belonged to the tanky type.

Their strength and HP attributes.

Were among the best in monsters of the same level!

They looked exceptionally ferocious and violent.

As soon as they saw Ye Xingyu enter the tower.

All the Ogre Brutes collectively roared and charged at him!

Ye Xingyu pulled his bow and shot arrows expressionlessly!

”Blazing Flame Arrow!”

”Blazing Flame Arrow!”

”Blazing Flame Arrow!”

...”-12821!”

”-12821!”

”-25642!” (Critical hit!)

...Under Ye Xingyu’s powerful firepower!

After each Blazing Flame Arrow was shot, an Ogre Brute would fall with a thud!

At the same time, a large area of flame scorching was left on the ground!

Causing all Ogre Brutes in the area to be engulfed in a flame scorching state, as well as an abnormal bleeding state!

HP plummeted every second!

In a short time.

The Ogre Brute army lost 12 of its generals in one go!

However, there were still more Ogre Brutes.

Charging fiercely at Ye Xingyu, enduring the flame scorching environment!

Ye Xingyu suddenly drew his bowstring!

Intense flames suddenly erupted on the arrowhead!

”Chain Burst Arrow!”

A special arrow instantly pierced into the Ogre army!

Followed by several loud explosions!

”Boom!”

”Bang!”

”Bang!”

”Bang!”

”Bang!”

”-33938!”

”-11312!”

”-11312!”

”-11312!”

...The Chain Burst Arrow exploded 5 times in a row!

And all of them were large-area damage!

Fierce explosive fire spores spread from the first Ogre Brute to the last!

”Thud!”

”Thud!”

”Thud!”

...All the remaining Ogre Brutes collectively crashed to the ground under the fierce firepower!

None survived.

This.

Was even without him activating the Fire Flame Strength buff, and the damage had not reached its maximum.

What happened.

”Killed Ogre Brute, gained 418 experience points!”

”Killed Ogre Brute, gained 418 experience points!”

...”Ding! All targets in the floor successfully eliminated! Congratulations on successfully passing the 15th floor of the trial tower! Reward 20900 experience, 750 gold coins! The stairs to the 16th floor of the trial tower have been opened for you!”

The gold coins dropped by the 50 Ogre Brutes scattered all over the ground.

Among them, a warrior’s bronze grade chest plate was also dropped!

By the time he reached the 15th floor of the trial tower.

”Good gains!”

Because the experience and gold given by monsters + an additional reward = double experience + gold.

Just on this floor.

Ye Xingyu gained 41,800 experience and 1500 gold.

And the cost was merely eliminating 50 normal monsters.

This benefit was already considered high in deep space.

In the normal areas outside the trial tower.

Eliminating monsters of the same level and quantity.

Would not yield such generous rewards.

”Not bad!”

After Ye Xingyu picked up the chest plate.

He continued upwards!

16th floor!

17th floor!

18th floor!

19th floor!

...In a flash.

Ye Xingyu climbed another 5 floors!

The monsters he encountered along the way.

Were all eliminated by a barrage of Arrow Rain or other area-of-effect skills in one go!

The speed was almost identical to the first 10 floors!

Because whether they were level 15, 16 monsters.

Or level 30, 31 ones.

All were instantly killed by one of Ye Xingyu’s area-of-effect skills.

The difference of a dozen levels between monsters.

Was equivalent to no difference at all.

Isn’t it (=ω=)

After quickly passing 4 floors.

He officially entered the territory of the 20th floor of the trial tower!

Appearing before Ye Xingyu.

Were 60 level 34 Skeleton Soldiers!

”Undead monsters?”

”This is very rare in the early stages of deep space!”

Ye Xingyu’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Undead monsters generally appear mostly in the middle and late stages of the game.

They belong to non-life type monsters.

Therefore, they are not affected by any burning or bleeding continuous damage.

They also have an additional 10% ~ 20% resistance to physical output.

Some Skeleton Kings, epic grade bosses.

Can even completely immune physical attacks!

They are an unusually tricky type of monster!

Such monsters actually appeared in the trial tower.

It shows that its level is very high.

It might include all types of monsters.

Fortunately, what appeared currently were just low-level undead soldiers—Skeleton Soldiers.

They have 10% fire resistance and 10% physical resistance.

Far inferior to high-level undead warriors!

For now, they seem very easy to deal with.
