Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

Super multiplier! Skill book upgrade! Infinitely enchanted Fireball!”Congratulations to the distinguished guest in vip box no. 1 for successfully bidding 8 million for the Flickering Rocket skill book!”

Xu Jingzhu announced loudly, and the auction gavel struck down heavily!

Soon.

”Flickering Rocket” entered Ye Xingyu’s hands.

”Ding! You can spend 10,000 gold coins to upgrade the quality of ”Flickering Rocket” to gold-grade. Do you choose to upgrade?”

A familiar voice came, making Ye Xingyu feel a bit nostalgic.

A silver grade item only needed 10,000 gold coins to upgrade to gold-grade.

Upgrading from dark gold to purple gold would cost a whole 1 million!

These 10,000 gold coins were indeed too gentle.

Without further ado, he clicked to upgrade immediately!

”Ding! Congratulations, SSS Talent Golden Dream has triggered a rare critical strike effect! You have lost ”Flickering Rocket” and gained the dark gold grade skill book—”Quenched Fire Arrow”!”

”Ah? (⊙o⊙)”

”There’s such a good thing?”

”!!!”

Ye Xingyu couldn’t help but be overjoyed!

No one knew the critical strike probability of the Golden Dream Talent.

Previously, only a golden hunter bow had jumped two levels, from bronze to silver to gold, due to the talent’s critical strike.

This had brought him huge benefits!

He hadn’t expected this ”Flickering Rocket” skill book to trigger a critical strike effect again!

”Hahahaha! Awesome! (*╹▽╹*)”

He hadn’t even seen the specific effects of ”Quenched Fire Arrow” yet, but Ye Xingyu was already ecstatic.

”SSS-grade talent is just that powerful!”

It successfully made his 8 million investment yield super huge profits! ‍(º﹃º)

How could a dark gold grade skill book’s effect be bad?

He quickly checked its effects first!

”Quenched Fire Arrow!”

Type: Skill Book

—

After upgrading ”Quenched Fire Arrow”, the original skill effect of ”Flickering Rocket” underwent a huge change!

From enchanting only the Archer’s ”normal attacks” to ”all attacks”!

From inheriting 80% physical attack power as fire elemental damage to 100%!

From a fire elemental enchantment duration of only 45s to 120s!

And the cooldown was also only 120s, meaning it could easily achieve permanent uptime!

As long as Ye Xingyu wanted to perform fire attribute attacks, he could keep them going continuously!

It could be said that the entire skill, compared to the previous ”Flickering Rocket”, had undergone earth-shattering changes!

It became flawless!

Satisfyingly powerful!

This was the value of a dark gold grade skill book!

It was far beyond what a silver grade could compare to.

”Hahahahaha! (*╹▽╹*)”

What else was there to say?

Ye Xingyu excitedly clapped his hands!

”Clap!”

”Quenched Fire Arrow” thus transformed into a dark gold streak of light and drilled into Ye Xingyu’s body.

”Ding! Congratulations, you have mastered the new skill ”Quenched Fire Arrow”!”

”Hahahahahaha!”

Ye Xingyu couldn’t help but laugh wildly three more times!

If Jian Ran Fanqiu, Goddess Daji, and Goddess Nuwa and their group knew about his current situation, their faces would probably turn so dark that even if Grandmaster Lin crawled out from the ground, he wouldn’t be able to suppress them!

”Hahahahahahaha!!!”

In this life, it was indeed Ye Xingyu’s world!

No one could stop his rise!

Ye Xingyu thought ambitiously.

After getting the skill he had dreamed of, most of the remaining items at the auction no longer attracted Ye Xingyu’s attention... pieces of equipment, potions, materials, skill books... were auctioned off!

Soon, it was time for the grand finale!

Xu Jingzhu ripped away the red cloth covering the wooden tray, and a dazzling golden overlord spear instantly revealed itself!

The entire auction hall center was immediately enveloped in brilliant golden light.

Accompanied by Xu Jingzhu’s loud announcement:

”The next item up for auction—a gold-grade spear-type weapon—the golden overlord spear!”

”Suitable for Warriors and Knights!”

”Starting bid 100,000, bidding starts now!”

Approximately one hundred thousand spectators simultaneously opened the golden overlord spear’s attributes!

Unexpectedly, the golden overlord spear didn’t take long.

The big shot in VIP Box No. 88 loudly called out a high price of 10 million!

At the same time, the visual barrier of the VIP box closed, revealing Wealth Moves the World’s self-proclaimed majestic and domineering figure!

Next to him stood seven younger brothers, simply serving as a backdrop... After a brief inquiry, Xu Jingzhu loudly announced:

”Congratulations to boss Wealth Moves the World from VIP Box No. 88 for successfully bidding 10 million for the Level 20 top-grade gold artifact—the golden overlord spear!”

”Congratulations, boss!”

Immediately following was another top-grade gold artifact for the Swordsman class, the golden light sword, which was also acquired by a boss named In the Name of the Sword for the astronomical price of 10 million.

Countless players couldn’t help but exclaim:

”There are still the most bosses playing Warriors and Swordsmen! No matter in which game, the equipment for these two classes is always among the most expensive. Reality truly doesn’t deceive me.”

”Good thing I’m just a little thief, what bad intentions could I have (=ω=)”
