Daily Intelligence: Forced to Save the Beautiful President at the Beginning

125: Chapter 125 Lin Haoyu’s Revenge Methods”Bang!” The glass door of the yoga studio suddenly creaked as it was slammed open. Zhang Fan rushed in like a gust of wind, followed by Song Zhiwei and two bodyguards in black suits.

He and Song Zhiwei had originally planned to visit Xia Qinyi first, then go to the kindergarten together to pick up Lele and watch a newly released animated movie. Unexpectedly, just as they arrived at the door, they saw Lin Haoyu grabbing Xia Qinyi’s wrist like a mad dog, his knuckles turning blue, while he cursed and swore.

”Lin Haoyu, let go!” No sooner had Zhang Fan’s roar faded than Song Zhiwei, standing behind him, lifted her chin with a cold expression and ordered the accompanying bodyguards, ”Go, separate them, and don’t hurt Teacher Xia.”

These two bodyguards were specially arranged by Butler Wang and had served the Richest Man Song for years; they were very agile.

Hearing this, they immediately stepped forward, pinning Lin Haoyu’s wrists from both sides, their fingertips pressing precisely onto his pressure points.

Lin Haoyu hissed and gasped, his grip on Xia Qinyi’s hand loosening instantly. He was hauled back two steps by the bodyguards, his arms so numb he couldn’t even lift them.

Xia Qinyi, like a startled deer, quickly hid behind Zhang Fan and Song Zhiwei. She clutched her reddened wrist with both hands, tears still falling, but she was calmer than before.

Lin Haoyu shook his numb wrist. Seeing who it was, his eyes turned red, his chest heaving violently, and spittle flying as he shouted, ”You again? Zhang Fan, are you f***ing bored? You’re everywhere! My business with Xia Qinyi is none of your business as an outsider!”

He tried to rush forward but was firmly held down by the shoulders by the bodyguards, struggling in vain. ”And you, Miss Song! You refuse to act like the proper Eldest Miss of the Song Family, instead following this brat to meddle in other people’s business! This is a family dispute; why do you outsiders keep interfering?”

The three punks with dyed yellow hair looked at the burly bodyguards and hesitated, moving forward two steps while shouting, ”Let go of President Lin.” But when they met the bodyguards’ icy gazes, they stopped in their tracks instantly.

The bodyguards just narrowed their eyes slightly, but the murderous aura they exuded made the punks afraid to move again. After all, when it came to fighting, professional bodyguards were much more formidable than these street thugs.

Song Zhiwei had been spending a lot of time with Lele recently and had long heard about Lin Haoyu’s actions from the child. She frowned, her tone full of disdain: ”President Lin, even in a family dispute, you shouldn’t hit people or slander them in public, right? I know better than you what kind of person Sister Xia is. Bullying a woman like this, what kind of man does that make you?”

Lin Haoyu struggled twice, but seeing he couldn’t break free from the bodyguards’ grip, his tone finally softened, ”Fine, I won’t pursue the matter with Xia Qinyi today!”

But then he changed the subject, trying to sow discord, ”Miss Song, you’d better keep an eye on Zhang Fan. This man is a player; he’s helping Xia Qinyi while staying so close to you. Don’t let him fool you!”

Song Zhiwei’s expression darkened, and her tone grew colder, ”Watch your words, President Lin! Who I am with and who I like has nothing to do with you. As for you, committing violence and slandering others in a public place—aren’t you afraid we’ll call the police right now and have you spend a few more days in the Police Station?”

Lin Haoyu was choked by her words, a flash of apprehension in his eyes. He had just come out of the Police Station and didn’t want to go back in.

But looking at Xia Qinyi hiding behind Zhang Fan, and the way Zhang Fan was protecting her, the anger in his heart flared up again. ”Fine, very fine! Just you wait! This isn’t over!”

He wrenched himself free from the bodyguards’ hands and glared fiercely at Xia Qinyi. ”Xia Qinyi, don’t think you’re safe just because someone is protecting you. I’ll come back tomorrow! If you don’t get out of Jiangcheng, I’ll come and cause trouble every day until you can’t run this studio anymore!”

With that, he took the three yellow-haired punks and slunk away, slamming the door so hard it almost shattered.

The studio finally quieted down. The students looked at each other, and the aunt who had been gossiping earlier coughed awkwardly and whispered, ”Teacher Xia, I misunderstood you just now. Please don’t take it to heart...”

The girl in the pink sportswear also quickly added, ”That’s right, Teacher Xia. We all know Lin Haoyu was slandering you on purpose. We’ll still practice yoga with you!”

Xia Qinyi wiped her tears and gave the students a forced smile. ”Thank you all. Let’s end today’s class here. I’ll refund today’s class fees to everyone...”

”No need for refunds.” Zhang Fan interrupted her and turned to the students, ”I apologize for the trouble today. If Lin Haoyu comes to cause trouble again, I will be responsible for handling it, and it won’t affect your classes. If anyone is worried, you can ask Teacher Xia to cancel your membership cards; I will cover the refund.”

Song Zhiwei also added, ”I’ve already asked the property management to strengthen security here, so irrelevant personnel won’t be able to just wander in again.”

Hearing this, the students felt relieved. They all said there was no need to cancel their cards, comforted Xia Qinyi a little, and then left one by one.

Only the three of them were left in the yoga studio. Xia Qinyi looked at Zhang Fan, her voice filled with gratitude, ”Mr. Zhang, Miss Song, thank you both so much for today... If you hadn’t come, I wouldn’t have known what to do.”

”No need to thank us; we just happened to be passing by.” Zhang Fan looked at her reddened wrist and frowned, ”Is your wrist okay? Should we go to the hospital to have it checked?”

”It’s fine, it’ll be better in a while.” Xia Qinyi shook her head, then remembered something, her expression changing, ”Lin Haoyu said he’s coming back tomorrow. What should I do? I’m afraid... I’m afraid he’ll scare Lele.”

Song Zhiwei patted her shoulder, her tone firm, ”Don’t be afraid, we are here. I’ll have the bodyguards come and guard the place tomorrow; he won’t dare to do anything. Besides, Zhang Fan is already digging up dirt on his company. It won’t be long before he’s too distracted to come and bother you.”

Zhang Fan nodded, his eyes full of certainty, ”Don’t worry, Lin Haoyu won’t be able to jump around for much longer.”

Xia Qinyi finally felt at ease.

Who would have thought that when she arrived at the yoga studio the next morning, she would discover something was wrong.

Pushing open the glass door of the yoga studio, she wasn’t greeted by the familiar scent of lavender, but by a stifling chill.

She reached out and pressed the light switch on the wall, clicking it several times, but the chandelier on the ceiling remained dark. She walked to the water dispenser and turned the switch, but no water came out.

”What’s going on?” Xia Qinyi’s heart tightened. She quickly took out her phone to call the property management. It rang a dozen times before it was answered. The voice of the duty officer was perfunctory, ”Ah, Miss Xia, regarding the water and electricity in your yoga studio, President Lin gave us a heads-up yesterday to shut them off first, saying you owe property management fees. We’ll turn them back on once you’ve paid up.”

”Owe property management fees?” Xia Qinyi’s voice instantly rose, ”I just paid six months’ worth of property fees last month, and I still have the receipt! By what right are you cutting off my water and electricity?”

”We don’t know about that. President Lin is an old acquaintance of our manager. If he says to shut it off, there’s nothing we can do.” After saying this, the duty officer hung up the phone in a rush, leaving Xia Qinyi standing there holding her phone, her hands and feet cold.

She finally understood; this was Lin Haoyu’s revenge.

Since he couldn’t cause trouble openly, he resorted to underhanded tactics. By cutting off the water and electricity, the yoga studio couldn’t operate at all.
