Daily Intelligence: Forced to Save the Beautiful President at the Beginning

103: Chapter 103: What brand of plastic bag are you? How can you hold so much?Eldest Miss of the Song Family, how should these people be handled?

Butler Wang’s gaze swept over the cowering crowd, the scar on his face glinting coldly under the lights, his fierce tone making the air seem to freeze.

Pei Yunxiao suddenly broke free from the bodyguard’s grip, rushed over to Song Zhiwei, and grabbed her arm, his knuckles tightening so hard they almost dug into her skin.

He was still immersed in his own delusions, his tone carrying a sense of ’victory in hand’ certainty: ’Zhiwei, I know you’re jealous of Ruan Shu! It’s fine to throw a tantrum, but there’s a limit; know when to stop and don’t make a spectacle of yourself in front of everyone!’

Who’s jealous? Pei Yunxiao, can you stop being so full of yourself?

Song Zhiwei tried to shake off his hand, but he gripped her tighter.

She subconsciously tensed up, waiting for that damned brain-numbing halo to take effect, waiting for herself to soften and compromise just like before.

But several seconds passed, and there was not the slightest waver in her heart, only disgust and speechlessness toward Pei Yunxiao.

Could it be... that the brain-numbing halo had completely failed?

Pei Yunxiao didn’t notice her distraction, assuming she was just being stubborn, and his tone became even more smug: ’Stop being stubborn! I promise you, I’ll stay further away from Ruan Shu in the future and only treat you well!’

As he spoke, he deliberately looked up and swept his gaze over the crowd, as if showing off that he had ’handled Song Zhiwei,’ adding, ’Now, apologize to everyone, and we’ll call it even, so we don’t damage our relationship.’

Apologize? Song Zhiwei finally reacted, and looking at Pei Yunxiao’s self-satisfied appearance, she couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

However, the smile didn’t reach her eyes. ’Pei Yunxiao, what brand of plastic bag are you? So full of it?’

She forcefully shook off his hand and took a step back, her eyes as cold as ice. ’I’ll give you two choices: either you take this group of people and get out of the manor yourself, or I’ll have someone ’escort’ you all out—pick one.’

Seeing this, Wang Cuihua hurriedly stepped up, a fake smile plastered on her face, and she deliberately glanced at Butler Wang with a hint of provocation. ’Zhiwei, isn’t it just about a meal? Why make such a big fuss? We’re all acquaintances, we see each other all the time, let’s not damage our relationship.’

She was still calculating in her heart: in the past, Song Zhiwei always listened to her; as long as she softened her tone and persuaded her a bit, Song Zhiwei would definitely compromise, and then no matter how fierce Butler Wang was, he would still have to listen to the Eldest Miss of the Song Family.

But this time, Song Zhiwei didn’t give her any face at all.

I call you Nanny Wang out of respect for your age and the years you’ve worked for the Song family. Song Zhiwei’s voice cooled, the disgust in her eyes undisguised.

Do you really think you’re qualified to lecture me? You’re just a nanny hired by the Song family, earning a monthly wage to do your job. Don’t add too much drama to your role and forget your place.

Wang Cuihua’s face turned deathly pale from the retort, and she subconsciously took a step back, her eyes full of disbelief.

Was this still the same Song Zhiwei who used to obey her every word and help her wash clothes?

Pei Yunxiao panicked completely. He stepped forward, wanting to defend Wang Cuihua, but his tone was fierce yet lacked confidence: ’Song Zhiwei! How dare you talk to my mom like that? She is my...’

She’s your mom, what does that have to do with me? Song Zhiwei interrupted him and took a step forward, her aura pressing down on Pei Yunxiao so he didn’t dare to move.

Let me tell you one more time: your family and the Song family only have an employment relationship. She is a nanny, your father is a driver. If you feel aggrieved and can’t take my words, you can resign now; no one is stopping you.

Don’t say that, Zhiwei! Upon hearing ’resign,’ Wang Cuihua panicked instantly, and tears were almost falling.

She knew that if they left the Song family, given her and her husband’s capabilities, they would never find such a high-paying and easy job, and Pei Yunxiao’s ’fake young master’ life would be over.

Her legs went weak, and she wanted to kneel on the ground. ’I was wrong, Zhiwei, I shouldn’t have spoken out of turn, please don’t make us resign...’

Mom! Don’t kneel to her! Pei Yunxiao hurriedly pulled Wang Cuihua up, his face turning the color of a pig’s liver as he roared at Song Zhiwei, ’Song Zhiwei, don’t push me to lose my temper!’

Song Zhiwei wiped the remaining tear stains from her face, looked at his outwardly tough but inwardly weak appearance, and suddenly found it ridiculous: ’Oh? Young Master Pei is going to lose his temper? How scary.’

As soon as she finished speaking, a crisp ’slap’ rang out, and a loud slap landed on Pei Yunxiao’s face.

Pei Yunxiao was knocked to the side, his cheek instantly turning red with a five-fingered print. He covered his face, his eyes full of shock and disbelief: ’You... you dare to hit me?’

So what if I hit you? Song Zhiwei’s tone was calm but carried power. ’You use my money to pretend to be a rich second generation, run wild in my manor, and even condone the yellow-haired guy for injuring my friend. This slap is just interest.’

She looked around, her gaze sweeping over Li Na, Wang Ting, Ruan Shu, and the others, her voice clear: ’I’ll give you five minutes to disappear from here. Five minutes from now, whoever is still in the manor, don’t blame Butler Wang’s people for being impolite—hurry up, Young Master Pei.’

Only then did Pei Yunxiao fully wake up—Song Zhiwei was playing for real!

His fake identity, his face, his ’Young Master Pei’ halo at school—it was all over today!

He could even imagine that tomorrow morning, the story of ’servant’s son pretending to be rich in a palace gets slapped in the face’ would be posted on the school forum, becoming the laughing stock of the whole school (in fact, some classmates had already secretly recorded the video and posted it online, and the comment section had already exploded).

You... just you wait! Pei Yunxiao dropped a threat that lacked any confidence, pulled the still-crying Wang Cuihua, and ran out of the manor.

Ruan Shu, Li Na, Wang Ting, and the others hurried to follow, not even daring to breathe—they no longer had their previous arrogance, only wanting to leave this place of trouble as quickly as possible.

Song Zhiwei watched their wretched fleeing backs, then turned to Butler Wang and said, ’Butler Wang, drive them all out, and don’t let them step near the manor ever again.’

She paused, her gaze locking onto the yellow-haired guy at the back of the crowd who was trying to sneak away. ’By the way, don’t let that person who injured Zhang Fan run away. Keep him here; we’ll deal with him after Zhang Fan’s examination results come out.’

The yellow-haired guy had just reached the manor gate when he heard this, his legs went weak, and he almost fell.

Looking at the bodyguards surrounding him, various lynchings from short novels flashed through his mind—broken arms, broken legs, castration... He was so scared he was trembling all over, and he could barely hold his bladder. ’Don’t, don’t catch me! Young Master Pei told me to hit him! I didn’t mean to!’

Butler Wang ignored his excuses and signaled the bodyguards to restrain the yellow-haired guy and hold him to the side to wait.

After doing all this, he breathed a sigh of relief. The look he gave Song Zhiwei was full of relief; in his memory, the Eldest Miss of the Song Family had always been self-loving and self-reliant since she was little.

But ever since she met Pei Yunxiao in high school, she was like a different person, brainlessly fawning over Pei Yunxiao, even using hunger strikes and suicide to threaten her parents, which made him heartbroken and helpless.

Now, the Eldest Miss of the Song Family had finally returned to her former self; the determination and clarity in her eyes were what the Eldest Miss of the Song Family should look like.

Eldest Miss of the Song Family, don’t worry, everything has been arranged, and the yellow-haired guy won’t be able to run, Butler Wang said softly. Hospital-side, I’ve had bodyguards follow them, and I’ll inform you the moment there’s news.

Song Zhiwei nodded, her heart still preoccupied with Zhang Fan’s injuries. ’Butler Wang, I want to go to the hospital to see Zhang Fan now; I’ll leave the matters here to you.’

Very well, I will take you there. Butler Wang immediately arranged a car and carefully supported Song Zhiwei as they walked toward the vehicle.
