Daily Intelligence: Forced to Save the Beautiful President at the Beginning

124: Chapter 124 I feel disgusted just looking at you!It was 3:00 PM at ”Qin Xin Yoga Studio.” The scent of lavender aromatherapy mingled with the grassy smell of yoga mats in the air, while soothing piano music flowed from the speakers. The students followed Teacher Xia’s instructions, supporting themselves on the floor to perform the ”Cat Stretch.”

A light purple yoga outfit clung to her slender yet upright figure, and her hair was tied back with a plain hairband, revealing her smooth forehead. Her voice was as gentle as a feather brushing against the heart: ”Inhale, lift your head and sink your waist, feeling your spine extend upward; exhale, round your chest and arch your back, slowly releasing the tension in your back...”

In the back row, a girl in beige sportswear whispered to the person next to her, keeping her voice very low: ”Teacher Xia is such a detailed teacher. My shoulders and neck hurt so much last week that I couldn’t lift them, but after practicing with her for three days, it’s much better.”

Just as the person next to her nodded in agreement, the studio’s glass door was suddenly pushed open with a ”bang.” The harsh sound instantly cut off the piano music and startled the students into looking up.

”Xia Qinyi! Get out here!”

Lin Haoyu’s roar exploded in the studio like thunder. He loosened his tie, his black suit jacket open to reveal a wrinkled white shirt, his cuffs stained with some unknown substance. He was a completely different person from the gentle and elegant ”President Lin” usually seen in the shopping mall.

He was followed by three yellow-haired thugs with their pant legs rolled up to their knees, revealing crooked tattoos on their ankles. As soon as they entered, they slammed the glass door with a loud crash, scaring the students near the entrance into shrinking back.

Xia Qinyi’s yoga brick fell to the floor with a ”thud.” She watched as Lin Haoyu charged straight over, the toe of his leather shoe kicking hard at the scattered beige yoga mats. The mat curled up, its edges stained with dust, looking like a crumpled ball of paper.

Lin Haoyu stopped in front of her, his shadow almost completely engulfing her. The anger in his tone was practically overflowing: ”I was framed and taken to the Police Station—was that you colluding with that Zhang Fan?! You think that by finding a man to back you up, you can challenge me?”

Xia Qinyi took half a step back, her back pressing against the cold mirror. The chill of the mirror helped her steady herself slightly.

She bent down to pick up the yoga brick, her fingertips turning white as she gripped it, but she forced herself not to collapse: ”Mr. Lin, your trip to the Police Station is your own business; it has nothing to do with me. This is my yoga studio, please leave, or I will call the police right now.”

”Call the police?” Lin Haoyu sneered and spat on the floor. The saliva landed on the beige yoga mat, looking glaringly dirty.

He stepped forward and raised his hand to grab Xia Qinyi’s arm, but she dodged him.

”Go ahead and report it! I want to see if your lousy studio can even open tomorrow!” His voice rose, carrying a naked threat. ”The property manager is my childhood friend, and I know people on the city management team. Making you close down is just a matter of me saying one word!”

The students in the studio were already terrified by the scene.

The girl in the pink sportswear quietly gripped her phone, her fingertips turning white, but she didn’t dare to click the button to call the police. She had just bought an annual membership last month and was afraid of offending Lin Haoyu, to the point where she couldn’t even use the membership.

The office worker with glasses shrank back into the crowd, his eyes darting around, muttering under his breath: ”If I’d known, I wouldn’t have come. Why did I run into this kind of thing...”

No one dared to step forward; only the lavender aromatherapy in the air continued to emit a soothing scent in vain.

”Lin Haoyu, what exactly do you want?” Xia Qinyi’s voice finally carried a sob, her shoulders trembling slightly, tears swirling in her eyes. ”I’m already done with you, and Lele doesn’t want to see you either. Please, let us mother and daughter go...”

”Let you go?” Lin Haoyu seemed to have heard a hilarious joke. A cruel smile curled his lips as he reached out and tugged at Xia Qinyi’s hairband. Her black hair cascaded down, covering her face.

”I’ll give you one day to take Lele and get out of Jiangcheng. Don’t let me see you mother and daughter again, and I’ll ’let you go’.”

”Why?” Xia Qinyi suddenly looked up, her tears hitting the yoga mat and leaving a small wet stain.

She looked into Lin Haoyu’s eyes, which were filled with cold disgust. ”Just because Su Qing is coming back? I work legally and live legally in Jiangcheng. Why do I have to leave just because you say so?”

”Has nothing to do with Su Qing!” Lin Haoyu’s eyes suddenly became like ice-cold knives, staring fixedly at her, his voice full of revulsion. ”It’s that I’m disgusted the moment I see you! From the time you drugged me when I was drunk and secretly gave birth to Lele, you’ve been scheming against me! Now that Su Qing is back, it’s time for you, this unseen substitute, to get out!”

These words were like a thunderclap, and the studio instantly erupted into chaos.

The girl in the beige sportswear quickly covered her mouth and leaned over to whisper to her companion: ”My god, she looks so gentle, how could she do such a thing? She’s too scheming...”

The girl with brown hair next to her frowned, deleted the ”Go for it, Teacher Xia” message she had just edited on her phone, and changed it to ”Is this studio going to go under?”, hesitating and not daring to send it. ”I used to think it was pitiful that she was raising a child alone, but I didn’t expect it to be like this...”

The aunt in the black dress in the back row shook her head and sighed directly, not bothering to lower her voice, loud enough for those around her to hear: ”Tsk tsk, you really can’t judge a book by its cover! If I had known she was such a scheming person, I wouldn’t have bought an annual membership! What a waste of money!”

The discussion sounded like fine needles, pricking Xia Qinyi until she felt cold all over. She wanted to defend herself, wanted to shout, ”It’s not like that.”

Back then, it was clearly Lin Haoyu who had chased her with 99 roses, and their relationship after drinking was mutual. Lele was an accidental pregnancy; she had wanted to abort it, but it was Lin Haoyu who had said, ”Give birth to it, I will be responsible.” Now, to make room for his white moonlight, he was actually fabricating a lie about being ”drugged”!

But the words were stuck in her throat, blocked by tears, and she couldn’t make a sound. She could only bite her lip hard, letting the grievance and anger surge in her heart, biting her lips until they were marked with blood.

Lin Haoyu listened to the students’ discussion and triumphantly lifted his chin, his eyes filled with contempt as if looking at dust on the ground: ”Did you hear that? Everyone knows what kind of person you are. We didn’t get a marriage certificate, and Lele’s custody hasn’t been decided yet, so don’t be ungrateful!”

He reached out and pointed at the crystal chandelier in the studio, his tone full of showing off: ”The apartment you live in is a low-priced unit I only managed to rent by using connections, half the market price. You opened this lousy studio, and it was me who introduced my company’s female employees to buy memberships that helped you survive the first month. Which part of this isn’t relying on me? Now that Su Qing is back, you substitute should be laid off, so hurry up and take Lele and get out!”

”That’s not true!” Xia Qinyi finally shouted, tears streaming down her cheeks and dripping onto the yoga brick. ”I pay the rent on time every month, not a cent short! For the yoga studio’s business license and health permit, I ran to the Industrial and Commercial Bureau and the Tax Bureau for three months until my legs were almost broken. It has nothing to do with you! Don’t flatter yourself!”

”Has nothing to do with me?” Lin Haoyu stepped forward, his fingers clamping onto Xia Qinyi’s wrist like iron pliers, his knuckles white with force, causing her to gasp in pain.

He pressed her against the mirror, which reflected her pale face and Lin Haoyu’s ferocious expression: ”If I hadn’t greeted the property management, do you think a woman with no background could have rented this location? If I hadn’t asked my secretary to bring the company employees to buy memberships, your studio would have closed in the first month! Now you’re acting high and mighty with me? It’s too late!”

Xia Qinyi struggled desperately, her wrist pinched red, with visible finger marks: ”Let me go! I don’t need your fake kindness! I gave those employees who bought memberships a discount; I don’t owe you anything!”
