Chapter 4699: Nine Heavens Fate Technique

Xunzhi World had once been a Five Wheel World, then forcibly elevated to Six Wheel by Xunzhi True Lord’s Lingtian Technique. But after that, many problems arose, making it considerably weaker than worlds born as Six Wheel.

As World Burning Fire refined the world, Lin Moyu carefully studied the changes. Xunzhi World became an important reference; when a world collapses, all its flaws and weaknesses are exposed.

By observing these, Lin Moyu could ensure that similar problems would never happen to his own world.

Furthermore, the marks of the Lingtian Technique remained inside Xunzhi World Lin Moyu could use them to dissect and further perfect the technique, fixing its hidden issues.

It was a valuable enlightenment an opportunity not to be missed. He told World Burning Fire to proceed slowly, giving himself as much time as possible.

As the world crumbled bit by bit, Lin Moyu’s insights grew ever deeper.

He gradually blended the Lingtian Technique with the Primal World Technique, molding a new spell truly suited for his Linguistic God World.

Everything progressed in strict order, with extraordinary smoothness. Unwittingly, Lin Moyu found himself standing at a new peak he no longer felt like just a cultivator inside the world, but rather its manipulator.

Unlike ordinary Supremes who, even after refining a world, could not escape its limits (their fate entirely tied to their world’s) Lin Moyu began to glimpse what it meant to transcend the world.

When worlds died, most Supremes died too, and vice versa. Breaker of the Sky Emperor was one who had pursued true transcendence untouched by the rise or fall of worlds.

Unconsciously, Lin Moyu had stepped halfway into this realm.

He was master of the Linguistic God World even if not yet a Supreme, even before fully refining his world, his authority was unmatched.

Previously, he could only roughly alter some rules; draw on the world’s primal qi as he wished. Once the new technique was perfected, he would wield precise control over every rule.

Even experienced Supremes might not reach this level of mastery in their own worlds.

Most important of all: if the Linguistic God World was destroyed, Lin Moyu would remain unharmed, standing uniquely above it.

Realizing all this, Lin Moyu began to take in his world eventually, all the multiverse and even the dreaded Life Forbidden Zone, from a place of highest vantage.

A month later, the merging of the Primal World and Lingtian Techniques was a complete success. Lin Moyu had invented a new secret art.

He said: “I thought I’d have to study another hundred worlds to do this, but Xunzhi True Lord’s technique and the trip to the Seven Wheel World let me grasp the rules and create this spell with rare speed.

This art will let me control my world even more perfectly raising it to the Ninth Wheel. So let it be called the Nine Heavens Fate Technique. May the Linguistic God World reach Nine Wheels.”

Thus, Lin Moyu named the technique Nine Heavens Fate.

Nine Heavens Fate merged the best of the Primal World and Lingtian Techniques. Not only could it grant total control and upgradation for the Linguistic God World, but it would also allow partial manipulation of other worlds’ rules its power was fierce, tyrannical, and nearly flawless.

When Xunzhi World was at last fully refined, Lin Moyu began his return journey. This time there was no spatial chaos he went to the wall between worlds.

That wall was still, empty; an unseen barricade that had stood since time immemorial, unbroken by any.

“Lin, you’re back!”

The Wine Elder’s voice rang out nearby. He was drinking, apparently waiting for Lin.

But Lin Moyu sensed that he also watched with guarded caution, perhaps even acting as a protector. Gold Sovereign and North Pole Sovereign were nearby.

Lin Moyu smiled: “Back at last. Did any of you gain anything?”

Wine Elder laughed: “Some. That world was dangerous, but with danger comes opportunity I gained a bit of enlightenment about world power.”

“Congratulations, then.”

The elder waved a hand, “Honestly, just making it out alive is the biggest gain.”

The Wine Elder was truly indifferent by nature ever since making peace with North Pole Sovereign, he had shed even his last obsessions and found his heart’s clarity.

Gold Sovereign, with his deep, hoarse voice, asked, “You were gone a long while surely you learned plenty?”

Lin Moyu replied, “There were some gains, but as Wine Elder said: being alive is the biggest blessing; the rest is less important.”

Gold Sovereign pressed further, “Do you know why the passage vanished?”

Lin Moyu answered, “That world was already a ruin any moment it could have collapsed. Us going inside just triggered its final destruction. Now it’s gone turned to ashes.”

“Oh!” grunted Gold Sovereign clearly disbelieving, but he pressed no further. Nevertheless, it was obvious from his expression that he did not entirely believe Lin Moyu’s story.

Lin Moyu did not mind their suspicion after all, each of them was bound by oath not to harm him.

“Well, that’s the end of it. Time for me to leave see you if fate allows.”

He soared toward the portal, with Wine Elder bidding farewell and flying with him.

Together, they passed through the portal back to North Pole City.

Wine Elder sighed: “The tribulation is growing stronger I can feel world power even clouding my mind.”

He radiated a peculiar aura, breaking the effect of the tribulation.

Lin Moyu’s gaze swirled with sun, moon, and stars as he looked into the sky.

The whole world seemed to fall within his eyes. Wine Elder was startled he felt Lin Moyu had departed from the world, become an aloof and terrible entity. He even felt like surrendering.

He could not understand what had changed in Lin Moyu; he even suspected for a moment that some ancient being had possessed him.

Lin Moyu used the Nine Heavens Fate Technique, forcibly observing the Chaos Wilds and the world’s tribulation.

Even when the world’s rules tried to cut him off, he simply dragged the rules into his grasp by force.

The tribulation had truly worsened it now affected even the not quite Sovereigns. The world’s laws fell into chaos, making everything unpredictable.

Weaker practitioners would go mad. During a great tribulation, the most unlikely things became possible: the untalented might suddenly turn into geniuses, while geniuses might fall forever.

Any world without a Supreme such was their fate under tribulation.

“What’s this…”

Suddenly Lin Moyu saw something, then the vision was abruptly blocked.

The world responded at once black clouds gathered, thunder roared, and the rules cut off Lin Moyu’s sight.

He put away the Nine Heavens Fate Technique not because he feared heavenly punishment, but because he’d seen enough, and there was no need to go on.
