Help! The Villainess Trapped in the Beast World's Drama!

Chapter 784: Chapter 640: Hiding in the Wardrobe (3)

The initial excitement slowly faded away, and the intimate posture made Shen Tang’s cheeks flush and her body slightly warm.

She gently pushed him away and softly asked, ”How are you feeling now? Are you okay?”

She was actually quite surprised that Jin got rid of Shou He and them so quickly. She thought he would lose control again, but for now, he seemed stable, which was a pleasant surprise.

She had been troubled by how to save him, but she didn’t expect him to come to her first.

”I’m okay.”

Jin got up from her, his gaze on her darkening.

She had changed into the hotel bathrobe. A disposable bathrobe from a luxury hotel, with soft and skin-friendly fabric. Because of her previous movements, the collar slightly opened, revealing her collarbone and a small segment of snow-white skin.

The fabric slipped towards one shoulder, also exposing a bit of pink-purple lace strap, lightly pressing into her tender skin, as if a little more force would leave a red mark.

Jin’s Adam’s apple moved, feeling his blood surge, and that strange sensation emerged in his body again...

The room was filled with the sweet scent of a female, but it seemed... there was also a hint of an unfamiliar scent.

Jin recognized it, it was the scent of that Wolf Beast.

His previously distracted emotions sank abruptly, a sense of displeasure rising in his heart.

Were they living together?

He remembered now, Xun Fu seemed to be with that Wolf Beast, they were always together.

What was their relationship?

”Come with me, leave here.” Jin suddenly said.

Shen Tang didn’t expect such a quick subject change and was stunned for a moment, ”Where do you want to take me?”

”Anywhere is fine, just the two of us, a world where no one can disturb us.” Jin stroked her face with his rough fingertips, leaning closer so their noses almost touched, his voice enticing, ”Are you willing?”

Shen Tang looked at the enlarged, handsome face before her. Those golden eyes were as bright as the sun, as if they could pull one’s soul in.

Of course she was willing to go with him.

But...

Shen Tang hesitated and glanced at the door, ”Let’s wait a bit.”

She originally hadn’t planned to stay with the team any longer, and after realizing Yue Lin’s feelings tonight, she was even less willing to drain someone else’s emotions — that would be too sinful.

So, leaving sooner was the right thing to do.

But last time she left without saying goodbye, causing everyone to worry for so long. This time, she wanted to say something properly, at least to say farewell in person.

Jin’s handsome face darkened. He knew very well that when that Wolf Beast returned, he might not be willing to let her go.

He even had a sinister thought flash across his mind, to forcibly take her away. Just then, the doorbell rang and the living room door was pushed open.

Shen Tang’s expression changed.

Oh no!

Yue Lin was back!

The two had just fought not long ago, and Jin was still on the wanted list. Yue Lin and his group’s attitude towards Jin was obvious. They absolutely couldn’t let him find Jin here; otherwise, they’d definitely capture him, even hand him over to Shou He!

Shen Tang hurriedly urged, ”You must leave now! Don’t let Yue Lin find you!”

”So what? At worst, we’ll fight again; he can’t beat me.”

Jin said disdainfully, while the little female was extremely anxious, directly pushing him towards the window and gesturing with her chin for him to jump out from there.

Jin glanced out the window, remained silent for a moment.

Climbing up didn’t feel like it, but looking down now... it did seem a bit high.

When he was confined to the Abyss, he entered from the entrance, not by being thrown directly down.

”You really want me to go down like this?” Jin commented, both amused and annoyed, ”Aren’t you afraid I’ll slip and end up as a pancake?”

He said it offhandedly. Given his capabilities, he wouldn’t die in such a ridiculous manner. But he had no intention of running.

Why should he run?

It’s not like he can’t win.

The last fight was unfinished, this was a good opportunity to fight again, to show her his strength so she could feel assured to go with him.

”Xun Fu, are you asleep?” The footsteps grew closer, nearing the doorstep, with a hint of urgency.

Shen Tang was completely helpless. She looked around, suddenly inspired!

She grabbed Jin and took him to the wardrobe. It was very tall, with not much inside, creating a lot of space.

She quickly pushed him in. The man, at a towering six-foot-three with a tall and strong stature, could only barely fit inside. She made a ”shh” gesture, ”Don’t make a sound!”

”...”

Just in case, she hastily took out a Concealing Talisman from space and pressed it on him.

Then swiftly shut the wardrobe door.

Almost simultaneously as it closed, the bedroom door was turned open. Yue Lin walked in quickly, only relaxing upon seeing Shen Tang safe in the room.

He had just led a team chasing that mysterious intruder, but lost them near the manor. Afraid the intruder might sneak over here, seeing she was alright, he finally relaxed.

”Are you okay? Did you see anyone suspicious?” Yue Lin asked softly.

Shen Tang shook her head quickly, ”No, I was just about to sleep when I heard you come back.”

”That’s good. The intruder vanished nearby. Such people tend to be desperados, specifically targeting wealthy noble females,” Yue Lin advised, ”If you encounter any strange commotions, absolutely don’t open the door, alright?”

Shen Tang nodded repeatedly, ”I understand, Captain. There’s nothing here, you should also rest early.”

She moved in front of the wardrobe nonchalantly blocking the door with her body, a soft and sweet smile on her face, but inside she was flustered, a thin layer of sweat forming on her forehead.

Fortunately, she had just showered, so it wasn’t noticeable.

At least Jin was obedient, not making a sound.

Oh dear... this was just like a clandestine affair.

Yue Lin sensed a faint strange scent lingering in the room. He frowned slightly, looking at the female in a bathrobe before him, her long black hair still a bit wet, softly cascading, with a delicate face as white as jade, her dewy eyes gazing at him, slight blush on her cheeks, and her robe slightly disarrayed, revealing a stretch of snowy skin.

His gaze darkened, his Adam’s apple moving.

She should be resting now. Rationality told Yue Lin to leave, but his feet wouldn’t budge.

He took a step forward, ”...Xiao Fu, I hope you’ll seriously consider what I said.”

Continuing his earlier interrupted confession, ”I’m not joking, nor am I a philanderer. I’m very serious, I like you.”

”I hope you can accept me.”
