Help! The Villainess Trapped in the Beast World's Drama!

Chapter 770: Chapter 636: Sharing the Same Bed

Shen Tang took a soft breath, and when she looked up, she was met with the man’s deep dark golden eyes.

She froze for a moment, then her nose tingled as she reached out to wrap her arms around his waist, burying her face in his neck. Her voice was muffled, with a hint of a sob, ”Great, you’re finally awake!”

Her sudden move reversed the roles, making the man’s whole body stiff.

The warmth pressed against him and the faint fragrance from her hair made Jin’s body as hard as a rock, and he momentarily forgot to react.

Shen Tang quickly realized she was being too impulsive, and hurriedly let go, saying a bit embarrassed, ”Sorry, I’m just so happy, so excited... You’ve been in a coma, and I thought my healing ability was useless...”

Shen Tang had experienced several life-and-death separations with Xiao Jin and truly couldn’t bear the pain of losing him again, leading to her emotional lack of control.

Seeing him awake and well, she was truly crying tears of joy.

Shen Tang took a few gentle breaths to calm her mind, and looking softly at the man in front of her, she whispered, ”It’s really great that you’re awake, it means your body is likely fine too, now I’m relieved.”

”...” Jin came back to his senses, his gaze landing on the female’s face.

Her beautiful face was slightly flushed with excitement, her pretty moist eyes still glistening with tears, and her eyes’ corners tinged with a bit of red.

Looking closely, there were faint dark circles beneath her eyes, as if she hadn’t slept well these past days, staying by his side to take care.

A surge of indefinable strangeness crossed Jin’s heart, feeling a bit stifled.

This silly female, only cared about looking after him, yet she didn’t rest well herself.

Seeing him awake, how could she be so happy that she cried?

Did she care about him this much?

During his coma, did she cry secretly?

The odd feeling in Jin’s heart grew stronger.

He furrowed his brows, propped himself up, and reached out to touch her face, his rough thumb gently brushing as if to wipe away the tear streaks at her eye’s corner.

Shen Tang froze as well.

— What are you crying about?

Jin wanted to speak, but no sound came out, his throat dry and hoarse severely, and he coughed several times.

”I’ll, I’ll get you some water!” Shen Tang came to her senses abruptly and quickly turned to fetch the water.

Jin watched the somewhat flustered back of the female, placing a hand gently against his chest.

In a daze, it seemed he understood what this strange feeling was.

Under his left chest, there was a slow, gradual tightness, with an indefinable hint of pain.

Is this... heartache?

Realizing this, a sense of absurdity welled up in Jin’s heart, his handsome face tight, lips pressed into a line.

How could it be?

How could he feel heartache for a female?

Yet the body’s reaction doesn’t lie.

He was indeed emotionally stirred by this female from nowhere.

Clearly, they had only met a few times.

Truly shameful.

Jin’s mind was a jumble, failing to notice the female’s approach.

Until that sweet, gentle voice came from above, and a cup of warm water appeared before him, ”Drink some water first, it’s clean water. I heated it up, so it shouldn’t be too hot~”

She sat at the bedside, like caring for a patient, bringing the cup to his lips, wanting to feed him.

Jin really wasn’t used to being this close with someone and turned his head uncomfortably, taking the cup to drink the water in one gulp.

The cold, sweet water slid down his parched throat, unexpectedly delightful.

In those years sealed in the Death Abyss, he had only drunk filthy mutated blood or polluted rainwater, it had been so long since he’d tasted such clean water, rendering him somewhat disoriented.

The little female still murmured softly beside him, ”You’ve been in a coma for three whole days without waking, without eating anything for so long, you must be hungry, right? Have a little something to fill your stomach first.”

Then, like a magic trick, she took out a lot of food from her wrist space.

Jin truly doubted her small wristband was some kind of treasure chest, able to hold so many items?

Ordinary Light Brain Spaces indeed aren’t big, holding not much, but Shen Tang had previously used space ability to modify the wristband, expanding its capacity.

Shen Tang took out a bag of jerky and handed it to the Black Panther youth.

Still as cold and aloof as before, he didn’t take it.

Jin never ate food given by others.

Once in his childhood, someone poisoned the meals. Though his strong constitution prevented death, the torment is unforgettable to this day.

But the jerky’s aroma was truly enticing.

Jin swallowed, wanting to refuse, but his stomach let out a ”grumble.”

His face stiffened slightly.

It seemed, after meeting this delectable, beautiful but foolish little female, he hadn’t eaten anything. Initially intending to take this succulent and pretty dumb female as reserve food, but then... these things happened...
