Help! The Villainess Trapped in the Beast World's Drama!

Chapter 754: Chapter 630: Familiar Yet Unfamiliar

The female crawled out of the ruins, her body dirty all over, her face covered in ash, looking like a pitiful little beggar.

She lifted her flamboyant face, her pair of dark, moist eyes looking towards the Black Panther not far away, and asked worriedly, ”Are you alright?”

Saying this, she tentatively moved closer to it.

The Black Panther suddenly bared its sharp teeth, pressed its ears back, and its dark golden pupils abruptly contracted, tightly focusing on the flame above her, issuing a low warning growl.

Shen Tang then realized that perhaps the aura of the Fox Fire made it feel threatened. She quickly retreated a few steps, hurriedly explaining, ”Don’t be afraid, I don’t intend to harm you. This fire is just for lighting, if you don’t like it, I’ll put it away...”

The Black Panther squinted slightly, saying hoarsely, ”No need.”

It had stayed in the dark for too long, and upon suddenly encountering strong light, its eyes were painfully pricked, but it soon adjusted.

The Black Panther deeply examined this dirty and disheveled little female in front of it, a trace of confusion and surprise passing through its gaze.

She really followed?

Shen Tang was afraid it would drive her away again, so she quickly spoke first, ”Even if you want me to leave, I wouldn’t know where to go...”

She looked up at the dark cliff overhead, unable to see anything, only hearing a series of strange bird calls, from the group of fierce mutated bird beasts.

Her voice carried grievance and helplessness, ”I’m a member of the nearby Hunting Team, and I was framed by someone in the team, pushed down from the cliff... barely escaping with my life, I’m now trapped here, unable to find a way back.”

Saying this, she looked at the Black Panther again, her tone somewhat dependent, ”Besides me, you’re the only living thing here. If I don’t follow you, I really don’t know what to do.”

”...”

She clasped her hands together at her chest, looking at it expectantly, ”So don’t drive me away, okay? I’m really scared alone here... it’s dark and terrifying, what if I run into danger?”

The Black Panther sneered inwardly.

Did this little female not know that the most dangerous thing here was him?

But he also saw that she was determined to follow, unable to be driven away. Since it’s hard to talk sense into someone courting death, he’s too lazy to waste more words.

After all...

He had never tasted a female before.

This little female had smooth, tender skin, her taste should not be bad.

Hopefully, when the time comes, she won’t be scared.

She better not regret it.

The female had no idea about the crazy and terrifying thoughts in the Black Panther’s mind.

She slowly approached, stopping at a distance not too near or far from the panther’s nest, taking out a fluffy blanket from the Space, spreading it on the ground, then sitting down, leaning against the cold, hard stone wall.

She hugged her knees, gazing at the dark sky above, and murmured bewilderedly to herself, ”How do I get out of here... can’t find even an exit, could it be that I have to climb back up from here...”

”You seem to have been trapped here for a long time, right? If even you can’t get out, then I definitely can’t...”

”I didn’t expect to meet someone as unlucky as me even at the bottom of the Abyss. You and I are both suffering the same fate, trapped here without a way out...”

”We’re both quite pitiful, aren’t we?”

The Black Panther kept his eyes closed, silent as the air, listening to the little female ramble on beside him, as if trying to find an excuse for talking, or perhaps to give herself courage.

What a chatterbox.

But thinking about it, it was quite pitiful, this little female betrayed by her companions, pushed off a cliff without dying, and then trapped with him, a Mad Beast; her heart must be filled with confusion and helplessness.

Surrounded by darkness, if she doesn’t keep talking, she might start crying in fear.

That would only be noisier.

...Never mind, just let her babble.

The Black Panther closed his eyes, too lazy to deal with this unexpected little interlude.

Though, her voice was quite pleasant.

Clear, sweet, and gentle, like the flowing mountain spring, like the soft clouds in the sky remembered from memory, and like clusters of white flowers spread across the mountains. In this abyss filled with death, decay, cold, and darkness, it seemed like there was suddenly a trace of different color.

In the Abyss, there is only endless slaughter and death, along with the noisy crow calls overhead.

The Black Panther hadn’t heard a human speak for a long time, almost forgetting how to speak.

... He actually kind of missed it.

The Black Panther kept his eyes closed, but his ears quietly perked up.

Shen Tang spoke until her mouth was dry, the surroundings terrifyingly quiet, with no one to chat with. She stopped talking out of boredom and turned to look at the Black Panther.

Seeing him motionless with closed eyes, she bravely got up slowly, wanting to move closer.
