Help! The Villainess Trapped in the Beast World's Drama!

Chapter 38: Chapter 32: Unexpected Encounter with the White Snake

On the other side, Shen Tang had just forced herself to sleep when she was awakened by the system’s alarm.

[Host, wake up, someone is trying to harm you!]

”Who wants to harm me?” Shen Tang instantly shook off her drowsiness, wide-eyed in terror as she looked outside.

[It’s An Ya, the White Lizard gave her a tube of specially-made Frenzy Potion. This potion can drive mutant creatures within a ten-kilometer radius insane when sprinkled on a Beastman. They plan to use it to get rid of you tonight... An Ya sent her Beast Husband Zhao Yin five minutes ago to abduct you, please be vigilant, host!]

Shen Tang frowned, ”An Ya? White Lizard? How did these two end up together? I remember the White Lizard is Shi Yin’s Beast Husband?”

[The two have been having an affair in secret; the White Lizard is An Ya’s underground lover.]

Shen Tang’s mouth twitched slightly; Shi Yin must be seeing green right now. If she found out about this, their fragile sisterhood would end instantly, given her explosive temper, she’d tear An Ya apart!

These two females are nothing good, Shen Tang enjoyed watching the drama unfold, but their repeated provocations really made them think she was a pushover!

Shen Tang’s eyes flashed with cold light.

Suddenly, her ears twitched; she heard faint footsteps outside the tent and quickly lay back on the bed, closing her eyes to pretend to sleep.

It was already around midnight; the energetic males and females had mostly vented their excess energy. The camp was quiet and still, except for the sound of the wind.

Zhao Yin stealthily sneaked into the tent, seeing Shen Tang sleeping soundly on the ground, a hint of cold light flickered in his narrow triangle eyes.

He didn’t initially want to lay hands on a female; alas, Shen Tang, you can only blame your bad luck!

Zhao Yin took out the Frenzy Potion, intending to sprinkle it on her when Shen Tang suddenly opened her eyes, kicked his calf fiercely, while a chubby hand heavily slapped the potion out of his hand, rolling outside the tent.

”Damn, you fat bitch, pretending to sleep!”

Zhao Yin staggered back two steps, a look of astonishment in his eyes, then his expression turned venomous and ruthless; this must not be exposed, or his life is over!

Tonight, this fat female must die!

Shen Tang saw the murderous intent in the man’s eyes, her face turned pale with fear, and she turned to run out of the tent.

But in the next second, Zhao Yin suddenly closed in, grabbing her neck with a large hand, while his other hand instantly covered Shen Tang’s mouth and nose with a wet cloth.

That cloth had been soaked in sedatives beforehand.

Zhao Yin intended to drag Shen Tang outside the camp, then kill and bury her!

”Help... help...”

Shen Tang struggled desperately for help, but the power difference between males and females was too vast; her voice grew weaker and weaker.

Meanwhile.

Outside, Shen Li checked the sky, noting that the time was about right, then leaped down from the tree, exchanged some words with the Beastman on duty, and headed back early to rest half an hour in advance.

Nearing the tent, Shen Li’s ears twitched, catching the faint sounds of distress.

Is it that fat woman?!

He hurriedly ran back to the tent, bumping into Zhao Yin who was attempting to drag someone away.

”You have nerves of steel, daring to harm a female under my watch, do you think I’m dead or what?”

Shen Li’s face was icy, looking at Shen Tang being held by the Beastman, an undertone of nervousness was faintly present.

Zhao Yin almost panicked with fear, ”Captain Shen Li, you’ve misunderstood, I’m just—”

”Spare me the nonsense, let her go!” Shen Li’s voice was as cold as frost, pulling out a handgun, closing in step by step.

Zhao Yin couldn’t argue back, his face turned ashen white, realizing he was utterly done for.

Might as well go all out!

Thinking this, his expression abruptly turned sinister, drawing a knife and pressing it against Shen Tang’s neck, the glinting blade emitting a chilling light under the moonlight!

He gritted his teeth, fiercely threatening, ”You! Don’t come any closer, or I’ll—ah!!!”

Shen Li fired without hesitation, shooting Zhao Yin in the arm, the man screamed and fell to the ground. The bullet was merely half a centimeter away from Shen Tang’s head, splattering blood on her face, her pupils dilated in fear.

In this moment of brushing past death, Shen Tang’s breath also hitched.

Under the moonlight, Shen Li’s crimson hair was blown into disarray by the night wind, an expressionless face, his blood-red eyes icy and terrifying, unlike his usual gentle demeanor; he showed no mercy, not caring at all about what might have happened if his hand had shaken for even an instant.

Shen Tang didn’t know whether to be grateful or saddened at this moment.

The severely injured Zhao Yin staggered to get back up, trying for a desperate counterattack, but Shen Li’s fingertips emitted a strand of Fox Fire that transformed into chains, binding him to the ground.

Shen Li coldly glanced at Shen Tang, ”Why are you standing there, run!”

Shen Tang suddenly snapped back to reality, bolting away, spotting the blue potion on the ground, she picked it up and stuffed it in her pocket along the way.

Shen Tang ran outside the tent, thinking she had successfully escaped danger, when the system issued another alert!

This time, before she could hear clearly what the system said, the ground cracked open beneath her feet, and a coarse, thick hand abruptly grabbed her ankle, dragging her into the hole.

Shen Tang didn’t even have time to shout for help before disappearing on the spot.

...

When Shen Tang awoke again, she found herself being carried over the shoulder of a short, stout male Beastman, the uneven dirt road jostling her to the point where she felt like throwing up her dinner.

”Who... who are you... what do you want...”

Shen Tang looked pale as a vegetable, trying to move and finally realizing she was bound by chains, unable to budge.

Simultaneously, she hurriedly asked the system in her mind, discovering that the location was nearly ten miles away from the camp.

This Mole Beastman took her so far away?!

”You can only blame yourself for offending the wrong people; Miss Shi Yin specifically sent me to deal with you. I’m just doing my job, accept your fate.” The Mole Beastman replied with a cold laugh.

Shen Tang’s face looked grim, never expected escaping one disaster only to fall into another; these two women are truly equally vicious!

The Mole Beastman brought her to a secluded mountain nook, looking down from the heights, it was pitch black, entirely unclear what lay hidden in the distance.

Shen Tang could faintly hear the roars of some creatures, goosebumps rising all over her body, even the Mole Beastman feared as he glanced forward, hesitating to proceed further, casually tossing Shen Tang to the ground like disposing of garbage.

”Stay put here, those things will come for you very soon.”

The beast glanced at Shen Tang’s plump body with a lecherous and sticky gaze; no matter how fat or ugly she was, at least she was a female, but he dared not taint her scent, or tonight he’d have had a good time.

The beast’s stubby little pinky hooked a small silver key.

The very key to the chains.

The next moment, he swallowed the key, sneeringly watching Shen Tang’s pale face, then disappeared into the earth.

The beast’s blood left a lasting scent impossible to wash off, even with water; the Mole Beastman was just doing his job but didn’t want any more trouble, so he decided to bind her and throw her into the pollution creature area.

Anyway, the female so weak, couldn’t escape, before dawn she’d be gnawed to bones by those hungry pollution creatures, it reassured him thoroughly as he left.

But the beast hadn’t counted on Shen Tang having a system, which made unlocking chains uncomplicated.

Once Shen Tang freed herself from the chains, she planned to head back, expose this gang’s crimes, when suddenly the system’s voice rang in her mind again.
