Just Engaged, the Abandoned Comeback System Arrived

Chapter 41: Chapter 41: The Iron Tree Blossoms, Wondrous Use of Tyrant Fist

”!”

Lu Yuan could not help but raise an eyebrow.

He thought, ”This little brat came at just the right time. More importantly, his Tyrant Fist seems to have reached great mastery, and he’s actually cultivated True Qi.”

The naturally strong little guy was now even more powerful. His strength had likely skyrocketed to a thousand jin. With a single punch from two or three meters away, Lu Yuan could feel an intense gust of wind.

This was the little guy trying to put him in his place.

”See how amazing I am now, Lu Yuan? You’re no longer my match. My Tyrant Fist has reached great mastery. I’m invincible against any Ninth-Grade Martial Artist!” Lin Siheng declared, his hands clasped behind his back, brimming with arrogance.

”You smashed two floor tiles in the Lu Family’s courtyard. Pay me twenty taels,” Lu Yuan announced calmly with a brief glance.

”...”

Lin Siheng’s expression instantly froze, and his eyes bulged. ”Twenty taels? Why don’t you just go rob someone? How much does a floor tile even cost? Ten Wen? Twenty Wen? I’m your future brother-in-law, not your enemy! You’re so despicable, extorting a child...”

”Nonsense. I’m counting the ones you broke before,” Lu Yuan said, holding up a finger. ”Think about it. Over the years, how many of our floor tiles have you smashed in total? At least dozens, right? At one tael of silver a piece, twenty taels isn’t even enough to cover it.”

”I... I... You’re actually digging up ancient history?” Lin Siheng stomped his feet in indignation. ”Besides, the market price is obviously only a few Wen, or a few dozen at most. How much are you charging me? You marked it up by dozens of times!”

Though young, he wasn’t completely clueless.

”Our tiles have been used for hundreds of years. They’re antiques,” Lu Yuan countered. ”Naturally, the price is different.”

”You...” Lin Siheng nearly coughed up blood in frustration. ”Nonsense! Extortion! I’m not paying! I won’t pay! I absolutely won’t pay!”

”You won’t pay? I’ll go ask your mother for it later,” Lu Yuan replied with a nonchalant smile.

”Don’t you dare!” Lin Siheng gritted his teeth. He knew that if Lu Yuan actually went to ask, his mother would definitely pay, and then...

”How about this? I’ll give you a chance. If you defeat me, I’ll pay for them. But if you can’t beat me... hehe, then don’t blame me,” Lin Siheng challenged. ”In this world, the strong are respected, and the strong decide everything!”

”Well...” Lu Yuan stroked his chin.

[Your former brother-in-law, Lin Siheng, finally experienced a romantic awakening at the age of thirty. Upon meeting a woman he liked and falling in love at first sight, his very first thought was to seek your advice.]

[Mission Issued: Come up with an idea for Lin Siheng and take the first step in re-taming this reckless beast. Reward: 300 Experience Points.]

”...”

Lu Yuan’s expression turned odd.

He thought, ”Experiencing a romantic awakening at thirty... that really does fit Lin Siheng’s personality.”

”Siheng, if you met a girl you liked, what would you do?” he asked.

”Why are you suddenly asking this? What are you plotting?” Lin Siheng paused, furrowing his brow. He just wanted to throw punches. ”I’m telling you, talk is useless! Defeat me, and I’ll tell you!”

”Alright, bring it on,” Lu Yuan said, gesturing for him to approach.

”Watch my fist!” Lin Siheng lunged forward and threw a punch.

BOOM!

The momentum was much weaker than before; it seemed he was holding back.

Lu Yuan chuckled softly. He met the attack with the Cloud-Brushing Hand, effortlessly neutralizing the thousand jin force.

”Huh?” Lin Siheng frowned.

He thought, ”My force was deflected so easily. Is it an illusion? Lu Yuan shouldn’t have this kind of strength.”

”Take another punch!” Lin Siheng roared, throwing another strike.

This time, the power was much greater, nearly reaching his previous level.

SMACK!

Lu Yuan met it with the Cloud-Brushing Hand, neutralizing it just as easily.

”How is this possible? Lu Yuan, you... how did you get so strong?” Lin Siheng asked in disbelief.

This was completely different from what he had expected. He knew Lu Yuan had long achieved great mastery in his Fist Technique and cultivated True Qi. But how could Lu Yuan possibly compare to him? How could the Lu Family’s Cyan Gang Fist compare to his Tyrant Fist? When the two clashed, he should have swept Lu Yuan away with unstoppable momentum. He was supposed to be the stronger one, but now...

”I’ve always been like this. I just never took it seriously with you before,” Lu Yuan smiled.

”I don’t believe it! Impossible!” Lin Siheng bellowed, unleashing the Tyrant Fist with all his might.

BOOM!

The fierce and domineering fist force directly blasted the air apart with a deafening crack. It likely startled all the neighbors. Many adult Ninth-Grade Martial Artists wouldn’t have been able to withstand this punch, and would most likely suffer broken bones and snapped tendons.

However, he was facing Lu Yuan.

SMACK!

Lu Yuan once again used the Cloud-Brushing Hand to neutralize it. It was highly effective. However, he felt a tremor in his bones, followed by a faint numbness.

This sensation...

Clearly, the power of the Tyrant Fist was truly formidable, sending shockwaves directly into the bones. Facing it without Gang Qi would definitely put one at a disadvantage.

But a sudden realization struck Lu Yuan. This fierce force, this effect...

He thought, ”Could I use his Tyrant Fist to help temper my bones in the future? As long as I don’t block with Gang Qi and use little to no deflecting techniques, letting the force of the Tyrant Fist directly strike my bones, my Undying Body will heal the damage. Wouldn’t that allow me to progress rapidly? It would save me a lot of energy, allowing me to focus all my Gang Qi purely on nourishing my skeleton.”

”How is this possible? How can you be this strong?” Lin Siheng was completely dumbfounded.

He simply couldn’t believe it. His full-strength Tyrant Fist hadn’t harmed Lu Yuan in the slightest and was effortlessly deflected. Was Lu Yuan just too formidable with incredibly high martial arts, or was he himself completely useless? Or perhaps his own father had duped him? Was the Tyrant Fist actually not the most powerful Fist Technique in the world?

”Ouch!” Lu Yuan suddenly shook his arm and clutched his shoulder, his face twisting in pain. ”You little brat, I can’t believe you were so ruthless. You broke my arm.”

”Ah? Are you... really hurt?” Lin Siheng froze. The light quickly returned to his eyes, but he soon looked at Lu Yuan with genuine concern.

If he had actually injured his future brother-in-law’s arm, his second sister would definitely beat him up, and his mother probably would too. More importantly, Lu Yuan usually treated him quite well. He wanted to defeat Lu Yuan, but he had never wanted to actually hurt him.

”Your Tyrant Fist is truly formidable. It’s the most powerful and fiercest Fist Technique I’ve ever seen in this world. It shook my bones until they ached,” Lu Yuan praised.

”Then, Lu Yuan... are you badly hurt?” Lin Siheng quickly asked in a low voice.

”My arm is numb. I can’t feel anything. It might be very serious, or it might recover quickly,” Lu Yuan said, shaking his head.

”Ah? Then the bone must be broken.” Lin Siheng was overwhelmed with guilt.

He was born with a strong constitution and immense physical strength, making his Tyrant Fist astonishingly powerful. It was perfectly normal for a single punch to snap an ordinary person’s arm. He had been too careless and reckless. He was so focused on winning that he forgot he was fighting his future brother-in-law.

”Lu Yuan, I’m sorry.”

”Don’t be,” Lu Yuan said, rolling his arm a few times. ”It should be fine now.”

”Huh? That fast? How could that be? Let me check.” Taken aback, Lin Siheng stepped forward and felt Lu Yuan’s arm.

He couldn’t find any swelling or abnormalities.

”Wow! You really are fine. That’s great.” He didn’t know whether he should be happy or a little disappointed.

”I was practicing my martial arts earlier and exhausted most of my True Qi, otherwise, this definitely wouldn’t have happened,” Lu Yuan suddenly said, salvaging his pride.

”Oh?” Lin Siheng looked at Lu Yuan, his arrogance flaring up once more. ”Even if you were at your peak, Lu Yuan, you still wouldn’t be a match for me.”
