God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Chapter 62: Chapter 60: Lin Bingxuan Is Kidnapped!

”What’s going on here? Over twenty people disappeared, and haven’t we police found any clues?”

Xiao Tian looked at Yu Ningxue, who was busy, and frowned as he asked.

”We’re in big trouble this time. These bandits involved in the abductions are striking in the blind spots of surveillance. They’re quick, precise, and ruthless. Despite having so many surveillance cameras, we haven’t found a single trace of them!”

Yu Ningxue hadn’t been sleeping well these past two days. She had dark circles under her eyes, and even light makeup couldn’t cover up her exhaustion.

In the past two days, these cases of missing girls have become the most troubling issue for the Shanghai City police!

The monitoring room at the police station is full of people who haven’t shut their eyes for a whole day and night. They’re solving meals with instant noodles, desperately trying to find some clues in the surveillance footage, but to no avail.

Xiao Tian remained silent. It was obvious that these guys were committing crimes as a team. If he could find clues about Le Yaoyao’s disappearance, he would also be uncovering the clues to these serial disappearance cases!

”This time, the higher-ups have issued a strict order that we must find out the whereabouts of the criminal gang within three days. Chief Yang has even vouched for this, but we currently have no idea what to do.” Yu Ningxue massaged her temples, sighed, and simultaneously pulled up the footage of all the places Le Yaoyao went before disappearing for Xiao Tian to review.

”In this crime syndicate, there is clearly an expert at evading tracking. He seems to know our police methods well. The clues we found before were just smoke screens released by them.”

”And more importantly, although we’ve locked down the news about this incident, with over twenty people missing, sealing it off is impossible. It’s already caused significant panic in society. If this continues...”

Yu Ningxue explained the current situation to Xiao Tian. Now she could only hope that Xiao Tian would once again work his magic and solve this case.

The disappearance of over twenty girls would be a massive blow to their families. What kind of impact will it have on society? Yu Ningxue could hardly imagine.

Xiao Tian silently observed the situation on the surveillance monitors while memorizing the information, useful or not.

Detecting a case requires discovering the truth from the slightest traces.

...

Meanwhile, after finishing her conversation with Xiao Tian, Lin Bingxuan couldn’t shake her unease, so she decided to search the places Le Yaoyao often liked to go. She had watched Le Yaoyao grow up and absolutely couldn’t allow anything to happen to her niece!

However, as Lin Bingxuan was leaving her house, inside a van parked outside for quite a while...

”Target is moving. Team three, ready up. The boss ordered that we must take this President Lin today!”

A man wearing sunglasses inside the van hung up the intercom and then started the vehicle, trailing unhurriedly behind Lin Bingxuan’s car.

...

Xiao Feng quickly finished reviewing all the surveillance videos, his brows furrowed into a tight line. What Yu Ningxue said was true; those guys hadn’t left the slightest flaw, and no clues could be derived just from the footage!

Yet, anxiously pressing forward at such times wouldn’t help. Xiao Tian planned to call Lin Bingxuan to check on how she was doing because of Le Yaoyao’s disappearance, she was the most worried.

But after dialing, Xiao Tian only heard the message that the other party’s phone was turned off.

Xiao Tian was taken aback, immediately sensing a very ominous feeling.

Judging by his last call with Lin Bingxuan, less than an hour had passed. Could something have happened to her in such a short time?

Xiao Tian’s face twisted in a grim expression. He had a strong sense that the people who kidnapped Le Yaoyao and those who took Lin Bingxuan were undoubtedly the same group!

”Beauty Master, quickly, help me pull up the surveillance around the villas where President Lin of the Lin Group resides!”

Instead, Yu Ningxue’s expression changed instantly upon hearing this. Who in all of Shanghai City didn’t know Lin Bingxuan’s name? Could it be that something happened to her too?

To save time, Xiao Tian only asked Yu Ningxue to pull up the surveillance from the past hour. But this time, after watching, he finally noticed something suspicious.

The Jinbei van that had been parked outside the villa area did have something up its sleeve, as it left immediately after Lin Bingxuan did.

”Got a clue, track that van. I need to know its current location, quick!”

In the monitoring room, upon hearing Xiao Tian’s shout about finding a clue, the officers were suddenly invigorated and all sprang into action.

It had taken them two to three days without finding a single clue. Yet, Xiao Tian found something upon his arrival. Was the difference between people truly this vast?

”Found it, the van is now located here.”

Not long after, an officer looked up and shouted excitedly.

Xiao Tian and Yu Ningxue hurried over, and by this time, Bai Tao had also arrived, watching the location of the van displayed on the surveillance screen with a grim expression.

”I’ve been to this place before. It’s behind a bar called Dick’s Bar. I even got drunk and threw up there.” A young police officer said somewhat embarrassedly.

”Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go, don’t let them get away!” Bai Tao breathed a long sigh; the pressure he bore was the greatest as the one responsible.

”Xiao Tian, you did well.”

After issuing orders, Bai Tao patted Xiao Tian on the shoulder appreciatively.

However, Xiao Tian didn’t respond; instead, he continued staring at the van on the monitor with furrowed brows.

Given the caution these guys showed previously, would they really be standing there waiting to be caught? Xiao Tian had a feeling they might still end up empty-handed this time...

Xiao Tian’s intuition was dead-on. When the numerous police arrived at the scene, they found the vehicle, but the people inside had long vanished.

Later, when investigating through the vehicle management department, it was discovered the van was actually a plated vehicle, providing no useful leads.

Inside the monitoring room, after listening to his subordinates’ reports, Bai Tao opened his mouth but only let out a long sigh at last.

Xiao Tian’s mind raced, trying to figure out what details he might have overlooked.

Every moment of delay meant that Le Yaoyao and Lin Bingxuan were in greater danger; time was of the essence.

Stay calm, stay calm, there must be a clue...

Xiao Tian took a deep breath and closed his eyes to think.

”Damn, how could I forget such an important thing!”

Xiao Tian smacked his forehead and, without saying another word, dashed out of the monitoring room, leaving the remaining officers baffled.
