Chapter 61: Chapter 59: Le Yaoyao Missing?

In the hall of the Lin Group, the receptionist was full of a forced smile, facing the well-dressed man in front of her, feeling quite helpless.

”President Sun, our chairman is really in a meeting right now and can’t get away. How about I notify her for you?”

”I’ve been standing here for more than half an hour. What kind of meeting can take this long?”

This man was naturally Sun Tian. After being reprimanded by Xiao Tian last time, he still wouldn’t give up and came here to pursue Lin Bingxuan.

In the eyes of many female employees in the Lin Group, this President Sun was definitely a diamond bachelor and a rather devoted one at that. Ironically, the flowing water has intention, but the falling flower is heartless.

”President Sun, I’m really sorry, but without President Lin’s permission, I really can’t let you in. I apologize.”

The receptionist also felt somewhat helpless. President Sun was such a nice person with such good conditions; why didn’t their chairman appreciate him? If he were pursuing her, how nice would that be?

”Forget it, in that case, I’ll wait for her here.”

Sun Tian appeared understanding, prompting the receptionist to nod repeatedly. Look, what a good person!

But when Sun Tian turned around and saw Lin Bingxuan coming out of the elevator, he immediately showed an extremely delighted expression and hurriedly called out:

”Bingxuan!”

Hearing this voice, Lin Bingxuan instantly felt a headache!

In recent days, Sun Tian had been coming to the Lin Group almost every day, sending ninety-nine roses each time, which was extremely bothersome to her. However, she considered his background and couldn’t just have him thrown out, could she?

”Bingxuan, you’re finally out. I’ve been waiting for you for so long.”

Sun Tian approached, handing her the roses in his hands with a grand gesture.

Lin Bingxuan looked at him with some disgust, without the slightest intention of reaching out to take the flowers.

Today, Le Yaoyao came to the company to visit her aunt, and the two originally planned to go out for a big meal together. However, after seeing the annoying Sun Tian, their good mood vanished in an instant.

”I say, aren’t you annoying? My aunt already has a boyfriend. Can’t you have some decency?” Le Yaoyao said with great disdain, not intending to give Sun Tian any face.

”Heh,” a trace of resentment flashed in Sun Tian’s eyes, but he quickly masked it.

”Bingxuan, my feelings for you are genuine. Can’t you see that? Over this period, don’t you feel even a bit of affection for me?”

Saying this, he showed a deeply affectionate look. If it were an inexperienced young girl, she might have been deceived by him.

”Sorry, President Sun, even if I were reborn, I have a boyfriend. Please don’t continue these meaningless entanglements; they only make me feel disgusted.” Lin Bingxuan had no intention of saving face for Sun Tian this time and rejected him quite decisively.

”That’s right, as fake as it gets, and you still dare to talk about genuine feelings. Bah! Auntie, let’s go, don’t mind this guy.” Le Yaoyao spat, directly pulling Lin Bingxuan away, leaving Sun Tian standing there with a face turning blue and pale.

”Damn it, filthy b*tch!” Sun Tian viciously threw the roses to the ground, petals scattered everywhere, his expression monstrously twisted.

”How dare you treat me this way, Lin Bingxuan and this wretched little girl! Just wait, if I don’t deal with you, I’ll write my name backwards!”

Fuming, Sun Tian climbed back into his car and pointed at Le Yaoyao, who was about to get in a car, instructing his driver.

”See that little girl? Kidnap her for me! I want to teach her a lesson!”

The driver, wearing sunglasses, exuded a fierce aura, marking him as no ordinary crook.

The driver’s role was just one aspect; he was also Sun Tian’s personal bodyguard and confidant. Sun Tian’s many unspeakable deeds were carried out by him secretly.

”Boss, this little girl’s identity...”

The driver just wanted to remind his boss, but Sun Tian cut him off.

”I told you to kidnap her, so kidnap her! Do you think I’m unaware of this brat’s identity? Even if we kidnap her, so what? Do you think those useless cops can trace this back to me?! It’s not just her; I won’t let Lin Bingxuan, that filthy b*tch, off so easily either!”

The driver opened his mouth but eventually swallowed his words.

Opposing the boss at this moment was definitely unwise.

...

After going to the countryside, Xiao Tian’s phone had been switched off, and only when he returned to his dorm and charged it did he find there were more than a dozen missed calls. Aside from one or two from his superiors at the police station, the rest were all from Lin Bingxuan.

Xiao Tian instinctively felt something was amiss. He had informed Lin Bingxuan before leaving, so why had she called him so many times—did something happen?

Tension gripped Xiao Tian as he quickly called Lin Bingxuan back.

”Xiao Tian, you finally answered! Something happened to Yaoyao!” Lin Bingxuan had been so anxious these past two days that she even spoke to Xiao Tian with a choked voice.

If it were an ordinary matter, how could it make her lose composure like this? But the one involved now was her own niece!

”Bingxuan, don’t panic. What happened to Yaoyao? Take your time and explain it to me clearly.” Xiao Tian frowned, comforting her.

”Yaoyao and I went out for dinner a couple of days ago, but after that, she disappeared. Her phone can’t be reached; her parents said she didn’t come home. I’ve reported it, but the police haven’t found anything...” Lin Bingxuan sobbed as she recounted the event.

Xiao Tian was stunned; that little girl Le Yaoyao had gone missing...

”Bingxuan, don’t worry. I’ll investigate this matter now. Trust me, nothing will happen to Yaoyao.”

After comforting Lin Bingxuan for a while, Xiao Tian quickly changed into his police uniform and rushed to the police station.

To investigate a missing person’s case like this, the first step was to check the surveillance videos from the police station, and review the footage from places Le Yaoyao had been prior to her disappearance to find any leads.

”Damn, who could be so bold!” Xiao Tian thought to himself as he sped towards the police station.

But upon arriving at the police station, he heard another shocking piece of news.

Recently, more than twenty young girls had gone missing throughout the East District, all young and attractive with high looks, and Le Yaoyao happened to be the latest case!
