Chapter 2812 - 2813: I Bought Enough Time

”That guy who died against the young lady over there was our weakest,” said the sunglasses-wearing bastard. ”Letʼs see you try against all of us at once! Letʼs go, bastards!”

”OOOHHHH!”

Just moments ago, they were terrified of me. But now, they surged with morale and determination, as if their boss had inspired them with some supernatural force.

I noticed his Spiritual Soul Aura expanding—like a vast consciousness unraveling into tentacles that connected to their bodies. Perhaps he was injecting them with emotions to keep them from backing down.

Well, that only made things more fun for me.

All the Yakuzas charged at once. I leapt into the frontlines, drenched in my own blood and that of my last opponent. I swung my rapier forward, channeling all Five Steps of my Martial Arts and beginning to meld their power together.

Then I invoked the Third Stage of Martial Arts—Martial Ascension. As the name implied, I had reached the point where I could fully ”ascend” my techniques, imbuing them with Ki to their complete potential.

And then, the power exploded.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

”Nngh?!”

The thug I chased—a small guy with tanned skin and blonde hair—groaned as he was forced to engage. He swung his spear swiftly, but I read its trajectory and dodged. I stepped forward, spun midair, and struck his head with a powerful kick.

CRASH!

”Aaah!”

As he groaned, I rushed to attack his back and neck, aiming to pierce him with my needle-like rapier and crush his body with countless stabs.

However—

”HAAAH!”

With a roar, he manifested a massive beast claw made of spirit crystals. Thunder, fire, wind, ice, water, stone, light, and darkness erupted together in a rainbow burst, striking me with full force.

”Ngaah?!”

I cried out, unable to withstand the impact. I was hurled into the cave wall, crashing into a cluster of spirit crystals. One of my ribs cracked.

I circulated Ki, Mana, and Spirit Energy through my body to ease the pain and stimulate cell regeneration.

As I stood, I saw my opponent smiling smugly. A beast now stood beside him—a massive two-headed wolf made of rainbow-colored spirit crystals.

”I present to you my Spirit Beast! Sheʼs happy to meet you!”

”I see...”

They hadnʼt just received Spirit Blessings. They were also granted Soul-Bound Spirit Weapons and Spirit Beasts. The one I fought earlier lacked one, likely because his Soul wasnʼt strong enough.

But the rest of the Yakuzas had powerful Souls. It was clear they could endure much more.

”Hah...”

As he laughed at me, I glanced across the battlefield. The fighting continued with brutal intensity.

Frank watched Kireina with concern. He genuinely wondered if she could handle this alone. She had already fought one of them while healing everyone, and now she was facing another without hesitation.

”She took one down. Four more to go...” Frank muttered, scanning the battlefield. ”Theyʼre strong, but what is this strange energy they possess? Itʼs not the Spiritual Energy I know... Kireina said it comes from the Spiritual Plane.”

”Hey kid, where are you looking?!”

”Ah?!”

Suddenly, the sunglasses-wearing Yakuza lunged at Frank, fists flying in a barrage of lightning-fast strikes.

”Aaagh?!”

BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!

Frank screamed. Each punch hurt like hell, and his equipment was rapidly wearing down. His eyes glowed red as he opened his mouth and spat poisonous smoke into the manʼs face.

”What the...! Oi, thatʼs disgusting!”

Frank leapt back, performed hand signs, and unleashed a Ninjutsu. Poisonous gas swirled around him, then split his body into dozens of poison clones.

This was Koga Saburoʼs Ninjutsu—learned through a Skill Book. Frank had no time to think. He moved purely by instinct.

”This bastardʼs too fast and strong. I canʼt stop to think—I have to act!”

Activating his [Yamata-no-Orochi Divine Snake Transformation], Frankʼs body changed. White scales covered his skin, red eyes gleamed, and a snake-like tail emerged. His stats surged as he poured Mana into his transformation.

His clones rushed the Yakuza, who scoffed and summoned crystal gauntlets, smashing the clones one by one.

”Damn brat, youʼve got a lot of skills, huh?! How are we supposed to compete against monsters like you?! Tch! I miss the good old days when we ruled this place before you freaks showed up... Japan doesnʼt welcome you bastards—especially not an American like you!”

The Yakuza roared, punching through the clones, unfazed by their poisonous flames. His body glowed with rainbow spiritual light.

”You talk like your power was earned, but youʼre just borrowing strength from a Mysterious Deity! Youʼre no different from those you despise!”

Frank roared back. Michaelʼs Angelic Aura surged from his body and merged with him. A pair of angelic wings unfurled from his back, and a golden halo appeared above his head.

His reptilian crimson eyes gained a holy golden glow. He conjured Fireballs using his Blazing Bear Gauntlets, infusing them with Holy Light to create blazing Holy Fireballs.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

”Weʼre simply receiving help from a likeminded ally!” the man laughed, tanking the fireballs with his bare body as he charged again.

”Youʼre full of bullshit!” Frank shouted, expanding his Mana Aura and detecting the incoming strike. He dodged by a hairʼs breadth, then swung his head upward, headbutting the manʼs chin.

”Ngh?!”

The Yakuza Leader was launched into the air. Frank conjured a Gravity Sphere by compressing a Domain through his Domain Creation Skill—the only person in this world capable of weaponizing Domain Creations—and hurled it at the man, expanding it to trap him inside.

”Gravity Prison!”

”GUUAAAAAHHHH!”

The man screamed as his body was crushed and pulled by immense gravitational and spatial forces.

This was one of Frankʼs newest Spells—an evolved form of Gravity Sphere, empowered by Michaelʼs divine energy. It trapped enemies inside a massive Gravity Sphere composed of ten compressed Domain Expansions, generating relentless crushing and pulling forces.

”With this...!”

Frank stepped forward, Michaelʼs light glowing around him. Her voice echoed in his mind, her Aura forming the image of a radiant Archangel Giantess.

”Frank, be careful!”

”...?!”

RUMBLE!

Suddenly, the Gravity Prison trembled. The Yakuza inside roared, his eyes blazing—not with spiritual energy, but something else.

”WRAAAHHHH!”
