Chapter 634: Hunting the Target IV

The 90th floor of the Shadow Argus Academy.

The seven deans led by Amirangelo and Migo sat around the rectangular meeting table, their faces reflecting a simmering rage which placed a heavy air of pressure in the room. The mood of the angry Sorcerers within the room had even manifested into elemental energy. If a Sorcerer-Apprentice were to appear here right now, they would be extremely traumatized.

“This is the eleventh time there’s been a report of sabotage in the academy caused by that Hydra Wrath concealment Sorcerer, Grimm!”

Next to Amirangelo, an elderly Sorceress, whose eyes were glowing ember red, furiously slammed the base of her staff against the ground with a loud ‘thump’ as if drumming at the hearts of everyone nearby.

“Amirangelo, if you don’t hunt down this Grimm as soon as possible then this Academy War is just unnecessary. We should all go after him together and deal with him!”

The elderly Sorceress had a string of powerful sorcery, yet even she could not find the hidden enemy. The entire rhythm of the academy battle had been greatly restricted by this meddling Sorcerer and it greatly infuriated her.

What was more infuriating was that both the people that the concealment Sorcerer was hunting and the target he destroyed were both extremely important matters not to be overlooked!

Although these search and destroy targets did not constitute a measure of the overall strength of the academies, its influence was causing all the Sorcerers to panic and indirectly slow down the entire process of the Academy War.

Morale existed within Arcane Sorcerer Academies as well!

It was at this time that these Sorcerers finally experienced what would happen during the start of every Academy War, the same experience Hydra Wrath Academy had when Shadow Argus Academy sent their concealment Sorcerers over to sabotage their enemy.

It could be that Hydra Wrath Academy had had enough of the anguish the sabotage attempts had caused and made Grimm take on the Three-Headed Snake to protect themselves and bring this experience of anguish over to the Shadow Argus Academy.

Demon-Hunters were specialized in infiltration and sabotage missions during the Foreign War, with destruction and survival being intertwining instincts. Grimm, being the elite of the Demon-Hunter elite, had destructive power that was unimaginable!

Amirangelo pushed away the task reports in front of him, his brow furrowing but unable to express frustration and impatience. Unlike the temporary deans hired by Shadow Argus Academy, Amirangelo was a true dean of Shadow Argus and the academy was his home, he could not take this lightly.

Even then, putting on a composed look of confidence and elegance could suppress everyone’s impetuous mood.

“Oh, even with Master Paku Aguda’s power manning the Sorcerer Tower, we’re still unable to deter this Level-2 Sorcerer Grimm, this is an issue that should be beneath us!”

Amirangelo smiled vibrantly, calmly saying, “Masters, be rest assured that I have made some arrangements in secret and I believe I will be able to have results in a few days’ time. While this is going on, I still request for your sincere cooperation, so that this concealer Grimm will disappear entirely!”

At the end of the day, Amirangelo was ten times more furious than the rest.

The elderly Sorceress, upon hearing Amirangelo’s words, nodded with satisfaction and stopped talking. The other dissatisfied Sorcerers knew better than to press the topic on even more, swallowing their opinions and no longer intending to linger on the subject matter.

At this time, on the other side of Amirangelo, sat a sulking, silent Migo who suddenly and gloomily exclaimed,

“Besides his powerful concealment sorcery and one-time-use super attack ability, the Demon-Hunter Kimraig had also reported that this Rank-1 Honor Badge holder is also a Seven Rings Dark Demon-Hunter who possesses an unknown Spacetime Seal. His achievements in anatomy refinement and elemental sorcery are far beyond a normal Level-2 Sorcerer in comparison. Based on the information collected from the previous academy battle, this Sorcerer has extraordinary insight on potions, alchemy, space, anti-curse magic, thunder and ice elemental magic the likes of which we’ve never seen before, especially his mastery of the black arc discharge he wields. With the initial assessment of the energy produced, its attack power is over 4,000 points.”

“Hiss…”

“This…”

After hearing the detailed analysis of the intelligence gathered by Migo, all the data revealed to everyone behind the information dump, there lied news of an extremely terrifying and powerful Sorcerer!

Even the elderly Sorceress Paku Aguda could not stop herself from gasping. Remembering Grimm’s record from the previous academy battle, there had been confirmed reports of dozens of Sorcerers dying by Grimm’s hands but some reports were unclear…

This person was a living nightmare! His Honor Badge was by no means a fluke! It was there in the Foreign World where Grimm walked down a road paved by the bones and staked by the blood of his enemies that he managed to achieve that Honor Badge! A mountain of death he climbed to reach that honor rank!

Seeing the expressions on everyone’s faces, Amirangelo calmly said, “So we must not treat him like any Level-2 Sorcerer. He is a Rank-1 Honor Badge Demon-Hunter that has overturned a Foreign World Hunting Expedition. He has extremely high potential to become a genius Sorcerer to figure out the infinite energy of the Stigmata Force!”

A Sorcerer with a cobra coiled around his neck spoke up, “Fortunately, he’s just a Level-2 Sorcerer, were he to become a Level-3 Sorcerer, then I’m afraid this academy battle would be pointless and we would be nothing but cannon fodder killed in the Foreign War in his eyes.”

“We still have a chance! At least with his current strength, Master Paku Aguda can still be able to stand against him! All we need to do is avoid his single-use super attack and after that killing him will be easy!” A senior exclaimed. While it seemed as if he was trying to rouse everyone up, he was actually doing this to manage his inner turmoil.

When everyone heard of a low-level Sorcerer having such power, those at a higher level with all their prudence, dignity and caution could not help but feel dulled by the notion of admitting that their abilities were lower than someone supposedly lesser than them.

“Right, there is still the secret report. The inherited academy heritage tool, the Thousand-Eyed Lamp and Sorcerer Modi weren’t overwhelmed and suppressed by Peranos using the power of Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower, instead this Grimm person used his Spacetime Seal to send them into the previously unknown Spectral World.”

Migo knocked on the table with his index finger, saying, “So, we must crush this Sorcerer before he causes anymore damage, otherwise this academy battle really is going to become unnecessary!”

All of a sudden, there was a very bright glint of confidence in Migo’s eye. “I have obtained his medium information, through a decade of careful preparation, he’s now very close to the Shadow Argus Academy’s High Altar… Hehe, I shall attempt to communicate with the powerful presence deep within the Medium World, cast a superclass Curse of the Medium sorcery and kill him in one fell swoop!”

Migo seemed to have given those around him a sense of confidence, those who have had their beliefs crippled began to smile one by one, some even nodding in response. Migo’s face bore a similar, confident smile.

For many years, he had never really used all of his power to cast that superclass-level curse spell, now was the time for the spell’s true power! This Rank-1 Honor Badge Demon-Hunter would be his ultimate guinea pig!

Suddenly sensing something, Migo raised an eyebrow as he pulled out a crystal ball, revealing the face of a panicking Sorcerer on the other side.

“Master Migo, the academy guardian’s nest has been destroyed, all the squints have perished in the assault, and our patrols, Wurodi and Balgomo have fallen!”

Boom!

Migo fiercely slammed the table and could not stop himself from standing up as the body under his sorcerer robe could not stop trembling, his breathing growing heavy. Balgomo was one of the four Sorcerer-Apprentices he had taken a great amount of effort to nurture and teach, he had watched the Sorcerer grow into his own person. As for the naturally talented Wurodi…

This Grimm, he will break the sky!
