Chapter 603: The Ace Sorcerer

The Sorcerer-Apprentices were always full of fear and imagination when facing the official Sorcerers.

Cana was trembling and feeling uneasy, not only because of the horrifying scene of Grimm displaying his Dissimilation Sorcery, but also the mysterious sight of the Medium World formed with her own experimental notes. It was actually a portrayal of her inner jealousy in class…

After taking a deep breath and temporarily suppressing her fear, Cana whispered, “There are seven rooms in your laboratory. Generally speaking, only three rooms need to be cleaned. I will place all the dust I have swept and the trash in the rubbish bin in the hemp rope bag, and then place it at the designated landfill in the cypress forest which is three hundred meters away from the Sorcerer Tower. ”

Cana stared at his big eyes and looked silently at Grimm, fearing that she had done something wrong.

Under the Mask of Truth, Grimm’s eyes narrowed slightly.

“Nothing else? For example, have you opened the garbage bag again…”

Or had it been found?

Cana felt as if she was about to collapse. With her eyes moist, she choked and said, “Yes.”

“How many times? What did you take?”

Grimm questioned strictly.

Cana did not dare to lie in front of an official Sorcerer. She bit her lips, feeling terrified.

“Every time. I think the valuable waste products in the garbage bag have been taken, there are some crystal stones, nuclear waste, experimental waste, failed experimental products, some waste paper notes…”

Grimm had also experienced the hardships of a Sorcerer-Apprentice. It was normal to find resources from the waste left by official Sorcerers.

For example, when Grimm was looking for Symbiotic Insects during his Sorcerer-Apprenticeship, he found a strange Regenerative Insect produced by a Sorcerer’s failed experiment in the landfill of the Black Isotta Sorcerer Academy. Reyana, who was tasked with cleaning Master Peranos’s rooms, also often looked for valuable materials from her master’s trash and frequently read his archival books in secret.

These things were things that every official Sorcerer knew. Every official Sorcerer have had such an experience before, and Grimm would naturally not blame her for it.

He would never allow others to get the stuff that he did not need. This was an extremely morbid sense of psychology at play.

The most crucial thing Grimm asked for was… the discarded experiment notes that he had written by his own hands!

“About the waste paper notes, what did you do with them? Did you give them to the others?”

Grimm’s voice became even more anxious and stricter, making Cana even more afraid.

“I… For those scrapped notes, many Sorcerer-Apprentices will gather together once in a while to exchange Sorcerers’ scrapped notes that they might be able to use. Your scrapped notes are very popular, and many Sorcerer-Apprentices would rush to collect… ”

Grimm’s eyebrows had almost twisted into a knot. It seemed that the Life Code medium he had lost was no longer traceable.

His discarded draft papers were also just one of the ways that Grimm could think of where he had lost the curse medium of his Life Code. After all, the tasks Grimm had signed off on throughout his time here, the lecture notes in class, the assessments given to Sorcerer-Apprentices and more, would all require Grimm’s texts and notebook.

However, this discarded draft note was essentially lost and untraceable. All the Sorcerer-Apprentices who had participated in the transaction might only be the secondary medium spreaders, and it was even more difficult to trace in the unmanaged landfill.

As long as they were attentive enough, they could get Grimm’s curse medium easily.

Looking at Cana, whose heart had almost jumped to her throat, Grimm sighed, “Okay, it’s none of your business anymore. Prepare for the next academy battle that will happen soon. Good luck.”

Cana could hardly believe her ears.

“Yes, Master Grimm.”

Looking at the departing figure of Cana, Grimm went deep into contemplation. Although he had not yet been in direct contact with the concealer, it was not difficult to see from the opponent’s attack on himself. This was an extremely cautious and experienced concealer. Even if he was only a Level-2 Sorcerer, and they had never confronted each other, he was using various methods to prevent himself from being found.

Even so, the opponent’s purpose might not be to commit suicide, but as an act of deterence, or to be part of the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy, it was just one of his goals. He was deterring the entire academy, telling them that he indeed existed but would never show up, making people horrified in a concealed way.

“Caw caw caw caw. Young Master, is there any way? How can we kill that guy?”

Shaking his head, Grimm did not speak. Although the use of the Book of Truth to open the door of the Forgotten World successfully broke the curse attack of his opponent, in essence, Grimm still had no chance of winning.

Of course, at least Grimm did not fail.

The match between the concealment Sorcerers was only the beginning of the winning slope when his opponent’s true self was found.

Walking to the bookshelf step by step, after cleaning up the blank books, Grimm said lowly, “It seems that this concealment Sorcerer must be the real dean of the Shadow Argus Sorcerer Academy. His purpose is the victory or defeat of the entire Academy War instead of his personal grudges. He wants me to find him and defeat him? He wants to contain me because… he feels that I can threaten the state of this battle! ”

With a low smile, Grimm said, “In the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower, is it really possible for the curse to kill me? Hmm hmm, Curse Sorcery. I can get the academy to obtain information regarding the Level-3 Sorcerers or Stigmata Sorcerers in the Shadow Argus Sorcerer Academy who are good at curses. Maybe there is no third concealer after all in the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy. This is an illusion played by a Curse Sorcerer… ”

After saying so, Grimm took Little Myna with him on his shoulder and left the room.

“A Level-3 Sorcerer who is good at curses? At such a long distance, it is not a Stigmata Sorcerer either. It is only possible with the help of the High Altar, I know.”

Peranos nodded, apparently having kept the intelligence information provided by Grimm in mind.

“Master, about the arrangement of the local Academy War, is Moth Frog City among the several selected battlefields used for the fight to obtain Sorcerer-Apprentice fresh blood?

Peranos, who was in the middle of something, turned to look at Grimm.

“That is a big city near the academy. Even if I send an official Sorcerer to raid the dominance that controls the outskirts of the city for a short time, it is difficult for the academy to have its Sorcerer-Apprentices competing with other Sorcerers. There are too few elite Sorcerer-Apprentices in our hands, and we lack an invincible ace Sorcerer-Apprentice. Therefore, we can only arrange for limited numbers of Sorcerers to go to some small cities to compete for resources. ”

Grimm nodded and said, “Master, arrange a city for me too.”

“Hmm, I have already arranged one for you before you even asked! After all, you are but my pride, the most elite Sorcerer in my hands now, and the ace concealment Sorcerer of the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy!”

Upon receiving praise and trust by his mentor, Grimm nodded and, with Little Myna, left Peranos’s laboratory on the 79th floor of the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower.
