A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 609: Arbitrary Criss-Crossing (5)

“Kimraig, what’s wrong!?”

Pudun was incredulously stunned. The two Shadow Argus Academy Sorcerers, who had suppressed Ezma, called out for both Pudun and Kimraig. After that, Kimraig turned around and fled, making the duo dumbfounded.

‘What’s wrong with this Six Rings Stigmata Sorcerer who just returned from the Foreign World Expedition?’

However, Kimraig disregarded it with an indescribable shock and panic in his pupils. He almost felt as if he could not breathe anymore.

The Rank-1 Honor Badge…

It was indeed a Rank-1 Honor Badge!

These Arcane Sorcerers who did not practice the Sorcerer Barrier ability were unable to sense the surge of Grimm’s Rank-1 Honor Badge activating the attention of the Sorcerers World’s Principal Will. But in Kimraig’s eyes, the Rank-1 Honor Badge of this Demon-Hunter Sorcerer who wore a greyish-white mask and held a Sabbatic Goat Staff was so dazzling, like the eternally bright sun in the sky.

Perhaps these Arcane Sorcerers did not understand the meaning of the Rank-1 Honor Badge. But for Kimraig, who had participated in eight Demon-Hunting Expeditions, he was clear about the gap between a Rank-1 Honor Badge Demon-Hunter Sorcerer and an ordinary Demon-Hunter Sorcerer.

This was like the gap between a Sorcerer and a Knight!

In all the eight Demon-Hunting Expeditions he had been to, among the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers who had faced waves of hostile Foreign World life communities, there were not many Sorcerers with a Rank-3 Honor Badge. Even Kimraig, a Demon-Hunter Sorcerer who wielded a Rank-2 Honor Badge, had only cooperated and communicated with such Sorcerers who had Honor Badges more than ten times in close range, but…

Kimraig had never really come into contact with a Demon-Hunter Sorcerer who wielded a Rank-1 Honor Badge.

Out of the eight Demon-Hunting Expeditions, only three of them had traces of a Rank-1 Honor Badge Demon-Hunter Sorcerer. However, these terrifying Demon-Hunter Sorcerers who overran the Battle Command were not on par with those who obeyed the Mission Commands.

In the Demon-Hunting Expeditions, in the eyes of ordinary Demon-Hunter Sorcerers, the status of those who possessed the ability to control the Void Fortress were no different than the Stigmata Sorcerers.

Even so, they were even rarer and more mysterious than the Stigmata Sorcerers!

Because such a Demon-Hunter Sorcerer, who represented the Demon-Hunting Expedition battlefield that once changed the entire Foreign World’s situation, must mean that he had a certain extraordinary knowledge area. And the Sorcerer who had such extraordinary knowledge research received the attention of the world’s Principal Will at the same time, then it was practically a logical thing to advance to Level-4 and build a Sorcerer Tower.

Therefore, a Demon-Hunter Sorcerer with a Rank-1 Honor Badge practically represented the transition period of pre-selecting Stigmata Sorcerers.

Such a terrible and rare top Elite Demon-Hunter Sorcerer had unexpectedly appeared here. How could this not make Kimraig, who had participated in several Demon-Hunting Expeditions, feel terrified!

That very Sorcerer stood hundreds of meters away, coldly looking at him!

If one were in a Demon-Hunting Expedition, he or she did not even have the qualifications to see those who were at a higher position. Instead, he or she only had to adhere to the missions issued by them via the Battle Command.

However, this time, he himself turned out to be the enemy, which was a nightmare!

It was not difficult either to explain why the originally aggressive, violent and frantic Kimraig would have such a big change. He turned around and fled without any hesitation, and the death of Little Yurin had also been forgotten.

‘Master must be informed about this!’

With that ability in a Demon-Hunting Expedition that could change the whole world, must also possess the ability to change the Academy War’s situation. It was necessary for the Shadow Argus Stigmata Sorcerer to inquire about all the information and intelligence of this Rank-1 Honor Badge Demon-Hunter Sorcerer.

“Caw? He is running away! Master, is he running away?”

Little Myna yelled.

Under the Mask of Truth, Grimm’s Eagle-Eye Pupils were completely locked onto the trace of the Demon-Hunter Sorcerer amidst the fire clouds, predicting the opponent’s running route and the direction of the element teleportation. Grimm said lowly and spookily, “Hmm hmm hmm, since the two of them are rushing down, then we’ll not leave! Just stay here! ”

Along with Grimm’s spooky words, a ripple surged in all directions around Grimm, and the air’s buzzing undulated oscillations chaffed.

It turned out that Grimm had successively opened two layers of the Wild Instinct Transformation in a short period of time.

The body expanded to a height of more than three meters, and the dark black scales on its dense skin were covered with a layer of pale white bone armor. Within loud groans, bone spurs grew out, and the body was incredibly strong like a terrifying monster. The two eye sockets of the Sabbatic Goat Staff’s skull were ablaze with fiery flames.

With a “whoo” sound.

This terrible monster gently waved the Sabbatic Goat Staff. A gust of wind blew into a range of two hundred meters on the ground below, and a large area of vegetation was dilapidated.

Suddenly, the eye pupils of the three Shadow Argus Stigmata Sorcerers, who slowly reacted upon seeing this scene, contracted. They felt that their bodies were drenched in sweat and their hearts were about to explode!

It seemed that an invincible prehistoric horrifying beast in front of them had begun to wake up. Next, it was going to stretch out its large foot and step on the ground, which would easily crush several people to death.

Run!

Finally, a few people began to realize a somehow terrifying monster was standing in the horizon!

So powerful, so oppressive…

No wonder Kimraig did not turn back when he saw the Sorcerer. It must be that as a Demon-Hunter Sorcerer, Kimraig’s keen sense of smell sensed the overwhelming majestic energy the terrifying Sorcerer had suppressed in his body, which caused him to turn around in a panic and flee for his life.

‘How did the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy manage to invite such a powerful Level-2 Sorcerer?’

‘Never heard of this in the previous two wars.’

‘Is he a helper secretly supported by other academies?’

Hum! Hum! Hum!

Unlike the relatively clumsy hurried flight of the Level-1 Sorcerers, the three Level-2 Sorcerers jointly conjured their elemental teleportation and lasered to three different directions separately. This was the essential difference between a Level-1 Sorcerer and a Level-2 Sorcerer. Even if his power was stronger, Grimm could only choose one of them to hunt down.

Hum!

A thunder arc flashed, and Grimm also disappeared from the spot. In the next moment, he appeared more than a hundred meters away. With his cold and indifferent eyes under the Mask of Truth, he chased after Pudun who came along with Kimraig.

After several of them from both sides had separately element-teleported away, along with Grimm gradually approaching, Pudun had nowhere to run.

Whoo!

A wave of the Sabbatic Goat Staff.

The surrounding air seemed to be extruding him desperately. This was the result of the Star Stone, Pudun, who had nowhere to run, roared, and his eyes revealed a fierce look. The awkward-sounding Sorcery Curse in his mouth was recited at an incredible speed. Under a wave of his magic staff, a series of three spells, such as the Hurricane Sorcery, the Roar of the Ice Wind, and the Blessing of Seraph’s Wind, were exhibited.

“Surprised? Too many Sorcerers have been shocked and surprised in front of my Chained Sorcery. You are not the first nor the last!”

With a slight gasp, Pudun’s mouth showed a little confidence. Although the other party was powerful, his fast Revolving Sorcery in front was never harmless, not by a long shot!

“It’s time to open the sacrifice on my left hand, hmm hmm. By then…”

Boom!

Suddenly, the Sabbatic Goat Staff launched an attack that exceeded 2,000 degrees under the blessing of Grimm’s high-density shock waves, cyclic magnetic fields, and level two Wild Instinct. Like consecutively stabbing three pieces of tissue, after shattering Pudun’s triple defense, a strike was printed on Pudun’s body.

With a buzz, a high-density shock wave penetrated Pudun’s body.

Bang!

Pudun’s body was spread apart after morphing into a sky filled with gusts of wind. To his surprise, his elemental body dissipated. After the wind-filled sky gathered again, Pudun roared, “Impossible!”

Crackle!

The black electrical arc pulled the twisted lights in all directions and struck Pudun’s body without any resistance. The body of the Shadow Argus Academy Sorcerer melted away as if he was wiped out, leaving only his bloody and strange left arm floating in mid-air.

‘Hmm?’

Naturally, Grimm discovered that the strange and bloody left arm left by this Sorcerer was somewhat extraordinary.
