A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 608: Arbitrary Criss-Crossing (4)

Before the Sorceress died, only two thoughts remained in her head.

‘Is this really the strength of a Level-2 Sorcerer? Am I so weak that I couldn’t even persevere for such a short period of time?’

‘Can’t my brothers, Pudun and Kimraigry, be faster…?’

Dozens of kilometers away.

“Oh? An unfamiliar Level-2 Sorcerer has appeared over at Yurin’s side, so let me ask you two handsome guys to go over there as support. Hehe, go quickly, your younger sister’s safety is important, but don’t injure yourselves in the Academy War. Don’t worry about Idrim’s affairs, we can see to it at a later time. ”

The old white-bearded Sorcerer was only half a meter tall as he was a wholly deformed dwarf. He was talking to the two Level-2 Sorcerers among the more than ten Sorcerers behind him.

He turned out to be a Level-3 Great Sorcerer, a dean of the Shadow Argus Sorcerer Academy.

“Teacher, what are the coordinates of Little Yurin? I will go there now.”

After listening to Yurin’s request for support, Pudun, who loved Yurin the most, revealed a slightly anxious look, and could not help but pull at his hair.

Next to Pudun, Kimraigry shook his head disappointedly.

“Hmm! Alright, we’ll talk about Idrim later. An insignificant Level-2 Arcane Sorcerer, who thinks that he has some tricks up his sleeve to break the laws of the academy and become a dean, is boring and ignorant!”

With a sneer, Gingris rose into the air and left while activating his Sorcerer Barrier. The mark of the Rank-3 Honor Badge was clearly revealed.

“This is a Rank-3 Honor Badge, and only Arcane Sorcerers, who activate their Sorcerer Barriers without practicing such an ability, can feel it. By that time, I’ll see if I can directly scare off that annoying Sorcerer and save me some time. Hmph! I really want to go over there and teach the guy named Idrim a lesson. How dare he threaten our master and claim that he can become an Academy Dean with the identity of a Level-2 Sorcerer, this really is out of his league!

Gingris was not bothered, and Pudun sighed.

“Sixth Brother, that Idrim guy is indeed terrible and very powerful. There are one hundred and twenty eight Level-2 Sorcerers in the academy, and no one is a match for him. Even for a Level-3 Sorcerer, facing against his various mysterious and strange spells is also a headache, so be careful. ”

Pudun whispered, obviously already having Idrim’s powers imprinted within his heart, making him a little uneasy about his sixth brother who had just returned from the Holy Tower of Six Rings’ Demon-Hunting Expedition.

“Hmm hmm hmm, one hundred and twenty eight Arcane Sorcerers? If he were to witness the scene where millions of horrifying foreign creatures attack with ease during a Demon-Hunting Expedition, he would know how insignificant he is. Even I’m just a chess piece in a Demon-Hunting Expedition, he… Hmph! He’s just a machine that sits in the sky and looks at the Sorcerers World to nurture the next generation of Demon-Hunting Expedition Sorcerers.”

Gingris’s words made Pudun uncomfortable.

While Gingris criticized Idrim, was he not criticizing himself at the same time? Even his master was like that, but he did not seem to realize that at all.

It was unknown whether the cruelty of the annual Demon-Hunting Expedition had actually made him begin to ignore some of the laws of social interaction.

Pudun smiled reluctantly and said, “Haha, as long as my brother handles the matter with care, he will surely think twice about his actions. After all, he is also fighting for the academy. He may persist in a somewhat weird manner, but he’s harmless.”

“Relax, here are the coordinates Master has given, see if Yurin is nearby…”

“Ah! That… That’s… Yurin!!”

The driven Pudun yelled after seeing Yurin’s lifeless head. Gingris was dumbfounded for a few seconds, his body suddenly seemed like a burning flame, as he roared up into the sky and said, “No matter who you are, you are dead!”

***

On Grimm’s side.

“Run! This monster is horrifying and impossible to defeat!”

In a short moment, there were only three Level-1 Arcane Sorcerers left after Grimm had slaughtered the rest. Under Grimm’s attacks, no one could sustain one round, nor pose even a slight threat to Grimm! Nothing!

The remaining three Sorcerers yelled, and fled into a distance separately. The unstoppable slaughter was like a nightmare, making people tremble.

The transmuted magnetic field caused a Sorcerer to transmute and split apart. Grimm stared frostily at the three Sorcerers fleeing for their lives without chasing after them.

They were just Level-1 Sorcerers, and they had been frightened so much that they had escaped, leaving the battlefield unmanned. Hunting them down to their deaths was of little significance. In comparison, there were more than a dozen war situations in this battlefield waiting for Grimm to turn the tides.

Grimm might not have the strength to overturn the entire Academy War, but he still had confidence in changing battle situations outside the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy.

“Master Grimm…”

The three Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy Level-1 Sorcerers, saved by Grimm, who had no element teleportation ability, belatedly crossed a distance of hundreds of meters, watching the battle situation of Grimm destroying Gurazyu mercilessly in the shadows. The three Sorcerers only felt a sense of coldness from the bottom of their hearts.

Even though he was a Sorcerer from their own camp, the three Sorcerers felt their inner fear and coldness grip their hearts.

Was this the Dark Demon-Hunter Sorcerer who stood on the sea of bloody corpses and once changed the tide of the war of the whole world?

He sure was as powerful as a monster!

The ordinary Level-1 Arcane Sorcerers in front of him were like lambs waiting to be slaughtered, without the power to fight back.

Perhaps even in the eyes of this horrifying Dark Demon-Hunter Sorcerer, these Arcane Sorcerers were the same as those foreign creatures in the Foreign Worlds he had killed, who and how many had been killed made no difference whatsoever.

“You three go over there to support and rescue those few Sorcerers. You must not let them escape and abandon the battlefield!”

Grimm ordered the three Lesser Sorcerers.

“Yes, Master Grimm.”

The three Sorcerers hurriedly followed Grimm’s instructions to the battlefield that was a few thousand meters high up in the sky, while Grimm appeared in another relatively distant place outside the battlefield after a spatial fluctuation and distortion.

“Caw caw, it’s my young master, Ezma!”

It turned out that when Grimm first came to this battlefield, he had discovered Ezma’s scent. That was why he first let Little Myna roam around to pinpoint the Spacetime Coordinates as he did in the past.

Ezma was surrounded by more than ten Twin-Headed Snake Academy Guardians, along with three Level-1 Sorcerers. However, they had been badly crushed by the other two Level-2 Sorcerers, and it seemed like he had lost a lot of Twin-Headed Snake Academy Guardians.

“Grimm!”

Ezma looked at Grimm excitedly. Although Ezma did not want to admit that Grimm was powerful, he knew that he was no longer at the same level as himself. He was indeed an incredibly terrifying Level-2 Sorcerer.

At this moment, such a scary Sorcerer appearing on his side as support was obviously a good thing that made people feel relaxed.

On the other side, after seeing Grimm, the old white-haired Sorceress of Shadow Argus suddenly took out a crystal ball and said lightly, “It’s here.”

Almost at the same time, the sky in the distance seemed to consist of burnt clouds accompanied by the rumbling sounds of burning raging flames. An individual who seemed to be ablaze with fire aggressively launched itself straight up, and the deep angry roar was like an eruption of a volcano, with both the incomparably vengeful spirit of wanting to wipe out Hydra Wrath’s enemies, and the bright and dazzling appearance of the Rank-3 Honor Badge on the Sorcerer Barrier.

“Kimraig, wait for me! Don’t act rashly!”

Pudun shouted behind him.

“Caw. Young Master, what’s going on? It seems to be heading toward you.”

In the doubtful voice of Little Myna on his shoulder, Grimm’s indifferent eyes under the Mask of Truth faintly looked at the fireball.

The fireball that had almost fallen onto the summit at first suddenly stopped with a hum when it was about three hundred meters away from Grimm. After a full pause and silence for several seconds, the Sorcerer in the fireball suddenly screamed hoarsely, as if he had found an extremely terrifying, yet incredible thing.

“This… This is… Aah! Run, or we’re all… going to die!”
