“Master Grimm, they’re here!”

Nigra said worriedly.

The three Shadow Argus Level-1 Sorcerers in the distance were flying over, and it was far beyond Grimm’s expectations. These three Level-1 Sorcerers dared to take the initiative to approach and challenge a Level-2 Sorcerer?

However, the three Sorcerers did not approach Grimm, instead they followed him and hung back at a distance of more than a thousand meters, while taking out a crystal ball at the same time, apparently asking for help and support.

“Die!”

Grimm said solemnly under his Mask of Truth, then saying lightly to the worried Nigra, “Wait a moment.”

After saying so, Grimm turned into a thunder strike and element-teleported to more than one hundred meters away, taking the initiative to rush toward the three Level-1 Sorcerers. The three Level-1 Sorcerers were evidently shocked, but they did not choose to escape immediately. Instead, they formed a joint defense in place, preparing to welcome Grimm’s attack.

Nigra floated in mid-air, clenching his fists in worry.

Although Master Grimm was a Level-2 Sorcerer, there were three people on the other side, and there might be reinforcements at any time. Once the war situation was delayed for too long, it would be very disadvantageous for Master Grimm.

Maybe Master Grimm would be able to escape, but for himself…

While Nigra was distracted and worried about all that, he saw Grimm element-teleporting a few times into the distance and appearing above the heads of the Shadow Argus Level-1 Sorcerers. The three Sorcerers seemed very confident in their heavy defense.

Suddenly, with Master Grimm as the center, the lights in the range of more than one hundred meters suddenly became completely distorted, and a black electrical arc that made Nigra tremble fleeted in a flash.

Crackle!

The twisted lights were recovered very quickly. When Nigra’s vision returned to normal again, two of the three Sorcerers were no longer visible. The last one was knocked into a cloud of blood mist by Master Grimm’s magic staff without any resistance whatsoever.

Also, the stone giant, that was majestic, was bombarded to the point where not even a stone larger than a fist could be found.

Hiss…

That was completely a one-sided slaughter, and Nigra inhaled sharply.

On one hand, he was frightened by the virtual image of the bloody sea of corpses behind Master Grimm at that very moment. The piles of bones were endless, and hundreds of millions of foreign creatures were wailing and weeping as if they were one of them.

On the other hand, there was a tremendous desire of wanting to master powers like Master Grimm’s. Was this the power of a Level-2 Sorcerer?

All of that was too far off for Sorcerer-Apprentices.

After a while, Grimm returned to Nigra as if nothing had happened, using gravity to continue flying Nigra toward the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower.

“Master, are they… all dead?”

Nigra clearly knew the results, but he could not help but ask, because he could hardly believe that in just the blink of an eye the three powerful Sorcerers who were unable to resist had died just like that in front of his very eyes.

A pair of eyes under the greyish-white spiral lines squinted at Nigra. Grimm did not slow down their flight speed and asked in surprise, “Do you have the habit of keeping your captives alive during the novice trial?”

“No… no.”

***

A few kilometers away from the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower, Grimm took Nigra to a low altitude and headed toward the tower.

“Mr. Grimm, that… that is…”

Nigra opened his mouth wide and pointed shakily at the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower.

At the top of the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower, the former magic elemental whirlpool had actually formed the image of a Hydra. The Hydra was nearly one hundred meters tall, and each head was extremely strong, being entirely composed of magic clouds. They were facing and attacking the Shadow Argus Academy Sorcerers who dared to approach the Sorcerer Tower.

This was the most central, and undisputedly most powerful force in the entire battlefield: The Shadow of the Giant Hydra Element!

Surrounding the Giant Hydra were thousands of Twin-Headed Sorcerer Academy Guardians and hundreds of Mechanical Marionettes. Like a hurricane, they were flying in a circle, guarding the Sorcerer Tower.

The Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower was the core building in the academy grounds. The buildings here had not fallen, and its magical array was still strong. A large number of Hydra Wrath Academy Sorcerers and Shadow Argus Academy Sorcerers were fighting around these buildings.

What was noteworthy was the few Level-3 Sorcerers of the Shadow Argus Sorcerer Academy.

Two of them were very powerful and gave the feeling that their strengths far exceeded that of Peranos’s. They were an Ice Elemental Sorcerer and a Thunder Elemental Sorcerer respectively.

The other three Level-3 Sorcerers were holding the heritage tools of the Shadow Argus Sorcerer Academy: An exquisite teapot, a few-meter-tall Ice Dragon Tree, and a bright lamp. They each had different abilities, were extremely powerful, and were connected to the Mana Pool of the Shadow Argus Sorcerer Tower.

In addition, on a tall altar of a more-than-ten-meter wide flying saucer in the sky, there stood a black-robed Sorcerer holding the Unicorn Skull Staff. Its ever-releasing powerful sorcery was surprisingly able to fight the Giant Hydra’s image head-on from time to time. Being extremely powerful, it seemed that the strange altar on this flying saucer had the addition of advanced sorcery powers.

On the ground, dozens of Sorcerers poured a large amount of the foreign creatures’ flesh and bones into a giant magical array. Shrouded in an unknown inhibitive magical breath, a horrifying monster was slowly rising from the magical array, intrepidly zeroing in on the Giant Hydra’s image.

In the horror scene of both sides respectively dispatching thousands of official Sorcerers to fight, the powerful spells, one by one, changed the circumstances. And the heritage convergence of the two academies respectively caused Nigra to feel overwhelmed, with a feeling of being insignificantly small and inferior sparking from within.

“Master Grimm, are we really going to traverse this battlefield?”

Nigra swallowed and traversed the entire battlefield, which was nothing short of a horrible nightmare for him.

Here, any Sorcerer and any enemy could easily have him killed countless times. This was definitely not the place for Sorcerer-Apprentices. They should hide far away and never return if the war were to continue on.

Grimm smiled. “After the Holy Tower Qualification Battle, if you become a Demon-Hunter Sorcerer and return from a Demon-Hunting Expedition one day, this small scene will not seem strange to you.”

Small scene!?

Nigra swallowed fiercely, but did Master Grimm just say that this was considered a small scene?

Yes, Master Grimm seemed to have joined the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy temporarily, and he had received extremely high standards of treatment as soon as he entered the academy. It seemed that Master Grimm was indeed a Demon-Hunter Sorcerer.

“Don’t worry, it’ll be alright.”

While speaking, Grimm used gravity to pull Nigra to his side. After the lights of his Robe of Representations twisted for a while, both Grimm and Nigra became invisible together.

“This…”

Like passing through a water screen barrier, Nigra watched those “stupid” enemies flying past him, but not realizing that he was right beside them, which was an incredible thing.

Next to him, Master Grimm seemed to be on a stroll, nimbly flying toward the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower with ease. The Sorcerer Tower’s stalwart lofty image gradually appeared before Nigra, the presence that made people feel extremely safe.
