Daily Intelligence System: Don't Kill Me, Honey!

The moon is dark, the wind is high, the storm rages.

Rain Water drips down from the eaves of the Heavenly Prison, countless prisoners raise their heads, watching the unending drizzle outside, their eyes filled with longing.

Rain, they haven’t seen rain for a long time.

Heavenly Prison is pitch black, here they are like maggots in a cage, not knowing when they might mildew and despair.

The entire cell is filled with the stench of urine, a bucket of excrement is right inside the Heavenly Prison, every day, you have to live with it.

And this is the better situation, some people have suffered severe tortures, without treatment, resulting in festering flesh, unbearable sight, the stink of which spreads throughout the Heavenly Prison.

This place is the Purgatory of the Mortal World, the prison guards at this time are inside the great prison, cursing as they look at the pouring rain outside; ”This damn weather.”

Speaking, they wrapped their clothes tightly around themselves, this Heavenly Prison is already cold and damp, and with this overcast rain, it becomes even more unbearably so.

Therefore, they curse nonstop, and if the prison guards are like this, it’s needless to mention the prisoners inside; they can only endure.

However, the upper levels of the Heavenly Prison present a different scene, brightly lit with six or seven fire basins, warming the entire room.

Sitting at the high seat in the room is a Great Monk in red robes, yes indeed, it’s the Living Buddha’s primary disciple, Dharma Ba.

At this moment, he is sitting with his eyes closed, silently chanting Buddhist Law.

Beside him, Lu Feng is polishing the long spear in his hand, which is the famous Liquan Divine Spear, with the spear in hand, his mind is stirred, as tomorrow is the execution day for Little Ming King, also for his junior brother Kang Maocai.

Which means, if his junior brother wants to save Kang Maocai, today is his only chance, and if he misses it, he can only go down to the underworld to save him.

And today, he must guard here with this Liquan Divine Spear to kill his exceptionally gifted junior brother, Zhang Dingbian, so as to be free of future trouble.

As for the future, once successful and famous, who can then bring up the matter of him killing his mentor?

Thinking this, Lu Feng continues to polish the spear again and again, and looking at the time, a Deputy General beside him says: ”Lord Commander, it’s already midnight, do you think those thieves have decided not to come?”

Upon hearing this, Lu Feng squints his eyes and says, ”They will not, he won’t abandon his junior brother.”

After saying this, Lu Feng asks, ”What have you arranged?”

”Reporting to the Lord, we have already arranged according to the Master’s plan, with formations set inside and outside the Heavenly Prison to guarantee their death once the enemy breaks in.”

Upon hearing this, Lu Feng’s eyes flash with murderous intent, ”Good, if so, then let’s wait, after all, fishing requires some patience, doesn’t it?”

Hearing this, the Deputy General beside him replies: ”Yes.”

As the two speak, Lu Feng continues to polish his spear, unexpectedly, the Master opens his eyes slightly and says: ”You lack peace in your heart.”

Lu Feng immediately responds: ”After all, it’s killing a junior brother, how could my heart be as still as an ancient well like the Master’s?”

The Master then closes his eyes and says: ”Stop polishing, your spear is bright enough.”

Listening to this, Lu Feng looks at the spear in his hand and says: ”Why do I feel it’s not enough?”

The Master says: ”That’s the dirt in your heart, it has nothing to do with the spear.”

”The dirt in my heart?”

Lu Feng mumbles, then shakes his head: ”Yes, with dirt in one’s heart, even if one wanted to polish it away, it wouldn’t vanish.”

”So how can I polish away this dirt?”

Lu Feng asks Dharma Ba.

”Demon and Buddha are both at great liberty!”

Dharma Ba responds.

Lu Feng pauses, not foolish, he understands the implication of Dharma Ba’s words.

The meaning is: either be a pure bad person or a pure good person, both types are not swayed by matters of the heart.

The fear is in those who, wanting to be good, do bad things, or those who, being bad, still aspire to goodness, for they must sink into endless reincarnation.

This saying is full of Buddha Nature.

Lu Feng smiles bitterly: ”Master’s words are penetrating.”

After saying this, he picks up the Liquan Divine Spear again and thrusts it into the ground, letting the soil stain the Divine Spear, since he’s already killed his mentor, what’s another two junior brothers?

Thinking this, Lu Feng’s gaze becomes firm, murderous intent overwhelming.

Today will surely see blood spray five steps away!

As he thinks this, suddenly Lu Feng feels a slight tremor in the ground, and Dharma Ba, who is usually calm, suddenly widens his eyes and swiftly rises from his couch!

National Fortune trembles!

Seeing Dharma Ba like this, Lu Feng is stunned, then asks: ”What’s wrong Master?”

Without answering, Dharma Ba strides outside, quickly reaching the outside, don’t care about the rain, he leaps onto the roof, looking towards the direction of the Imperial Palace.

In an instant, his whole body tingles.

He sees smoke billowing in the direction of the Imperial Palace, thick smoke rising to the sky despite the drenching rain.

Moreover, terrifyingly, a pure white giant dragon is circling above the palace, roaring.

As the head of the Qincha Eight Guards, and also the Emperor’s primary guard, how could Dharma Ba not recognize the life-saving measure of the Imperial Palace Inner Court, the Ancestral Temple Tower?

Only by entering the Ancestral Temple Tower can you see this image of a dragon hovering, sensing everything, it must be that someone is attacking the palace, forcing Your Majesty into the Ancestral Temple Tower!
