Strongest Mage with the Lust system

Chapter 992: Nie Xiaolu’s Request (Ko-Fi Bonus 2/6)

[Do you want to use 21,000 Lust Points to increase your cultivation to Muscle Refinement, Seventh Layer? (Yes)/(No)]

Max clicked ‘Yes’ and closed his eyes. Even as more intense pain that he had felt since he possessed Gu Chen’s body burned through him, his expression remained serene like the waters of a still lake.

However, his body, unable to endure the pain, was experiencing convulsions.

A short while later, the pain subsided.

Phew!

Slowly he opened his eyes and exhaled deeply, then glanced at his status screen.

[Cultivation: Muscle Refinement, 7th Layer] (+)

[Lust Points: 155,000→124,000]

A minute later, he once again chose to increase his cultivation. System’s confirmation notification flashed and as he clicked ‘yes’, thirty four thousand Lust Points vanished from his total and another wave of pain assailed him. But just like before, while his body underwent convulsions, his eyes remained shut and his expression remained calm.

[Cultivation: Muscle Refinement, 8th Layer] (+)

[Lust Points: 124,000→90,000]

This time he rested ten minutes before he once again chose to increase his cultivation.

After a while when pain had vanished, he opened his eyes and looked at his status screen with a hint of satisfaction in them.

[Cultivation: Muscle Refinement, 9th Layer] (+)

[Lust Points: 90,000→45,000]

‘Let’s push through to the Blood Condensation realm.’ With this thought, he was about to once again click the (+) symbol, but right then a smaller system screen popped up before him.

[Host, it would be best to wait for a few hours to let the changes caused by your rapid breakthroughs to your body settle before you proceed and break through to the next realm.]

Max’s finger paused before the (+) symbol, then he retracted it. “Alright then.”

Since there was still quite some time before the night fell, he wasn’t in a hurry, so he decided to do as the system suggested.

He then rested for a few more minutes before getting up. After covering Zhou Yue with the blanket, he took his clothes and carefully opened the door.

Noticing no one around, he walked out and headed into the bathroom where he cleansed himself thoroughly, getting rid of the sweat and their love fluids on his lower body.

Unfortunately, he didn’t find soap so he couldn’t get rid of the smell of sex wafting off him completely.

…

Nie Haolong was still pacing about in front of the house, unable to sit still unlike his sister.

Nie Xiaolu inwardly sighed when she saw him glance at her, knowing what was coming.

Just as she expected, Haolong said, “Sister Xiaolu, it’s been an hour. Shouldn’t we go check on them now? What if something has gone—”

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Feeling exasperated, Nie Xiaolu was about to scold him and tell him to stay put when they heard the sounds of footsteps from inside the house.

Swoosh!

Nie Haolong stopped speaking and looked over while Nie Xiaolu jumped to her feet, also staring at the house entrance expectantly.

A moment later, they saw Gu Chen walk out, looking calm. Immediately, Nie Xiaolu let her tense heart relax.

But the same wasn’t true for the worried Nie Haolong, he rushed up to him and hurriedly asked, “What happened? How is mother? Did you manage to help her? Can we meet her?”

Max patted his shoulder and calmly said, “I fortunately managed to succeed in extracting a portion of her Yin Energy. Now even if it flares again, it won’t threaten her life. And thanks to my… unique method, she has regained some energy too. But no, you can’t meet her at the moment. I still need to continue helping her for a few hours and make sure everything is as I expect it to be.”

Thud!

Nie Haolong suddenly hugged him tightly. Max patted his back in silence, knowing how happy and relieved he was feeling.

He glanced at his soon-to-be wife and saw she was silently shedding tears of relief and joy. He also noticed she looked a bit uncomfortable.

Max just smiled and lightly nodded at her.

Nie Xiaolu nodded back. Then taking a breath, she suppressed the uncomfortable feeling in her heart.

“Thank you very much, Chen.” Nie Haolong pulled back after a while and stared at him emotionally, “If such a need ever arose, I wouldn’t hesitate to lay down my life for you.”

Max didn’t say anything in response and gave a nod of acknowledgement.

“Alright, you guys don’t need to… stay outside like this and wait. Come inside.” said Max before glancing at Nie Xiaolu, “Xiaolu, do you still have the leftovers from earlier? If you do, please give me some. I’m starving.”

Nie Xiaolu raised her brows, then shook her head, “There aren’t any leftovers but wait for a short while, I’ll cook for you.” Saying this, she entered the house.

As for Nie Haolong, he looked at Max up and down in confusion, “Why didn’t that Spirit Fruit help you recover?”

“It was used for something else.” Answered Max as they entered the house.

Since Nie Haolong didn’t have anything else to do and he couldn’t see his mother either, he went to sleep which suited Max the best. After all, if he stayed awake, the chances were he would have heard or noticed something amiss while he was with Zhou Yin, helping her extract more of her yin energy.

Twenty minutes later, Nie Xiaolu was finished preparing a large meal for him, using most of their remaining rations, and served him.

Since her brother had gone to sleep, she sat beside him to keep him company.

Max ate in silence while his stomach worked rapidly to convert the food into vital energy that slowly pervaded his body and began easing his physical exhaustion.

A few minutes later, he had licked the dishes clean.

Seeing he was done eating, Nie Xiaolu spoke, “Brother Chen… Now mother can also become a cultivator, right?”

Max put the dishes and nodded, “Yes, she can.”

“I see.” Nie Xiaolu murmured, then suddenly requested, “Can you not help her become a cultivator until we are married and have left the Nie family? I don’t want some people to become greedy when they realize my mother has not only gotten better but has also become a cultivator.”
