Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

”Aww baby Zara,” Zi Chen leaned forward and held the baby’s hand delicately.

Yue could not shift the gear with his child climbing all over it. He gestured to his mum to hold him tight. They were traveling at a very high speed it could be very dangerous for him to be just climbing around.

”Where is Coco?” he glanced back. Usually when the pulpy was with him, Chen was very silent and obedient just talking to the pupper.

”He is in the other car with uncle Qian and uncle Peng,” he mumbled with a grin. ”hey Zara. I am your elder brother. Do you like brother? I love you so much,”

A small grin bloomed on his face.

’Maybe having a second child is not so bad after all,’ he thought,

but all that changed in just a second.

Zi Chen pinched her cheeks and the baby suddenly let out a loud wail. Her small face scrunched up and got pink as she wailed out loud.

Seeing her crying so sadly, Zi Chen started to cry as well.

Yue hurriedly rolled up the window hoping and praying the zombies wandering outside did not hear them.

But that was just a distant hope

Two children were crying loudly. So loud that they managed to attract a few zombies that were roaming around mining their business.

the zombies all rushed to them growling and with their claws out.

Yue sighed. he untied the wrap around his chest and delicately held the child. ”Fan, take her, see what is wrong with.,….’ He glanced at his shirt. There was a huge wet path on it.

His mum hurriedly took the child. ”Ah she just had a pee. you did not put the diaper properly. its leaking form the sides,” she informed him.

As soon as she removed her diaper the child stopped wailing. Her big grape like eyes were looking around curiously.

”She seems smart,” his mum whispered gently pinching her cheeks.

The child giggled wiggling her limbs around like a cute like a puppy.

Zou Yue peered at her. Suddenly his mother’s words rang in his mind. ’What if children also were born intelligent. If so, it will be quite easy…...’ he reached out and touched her small head.

Her grape like eyes focused on him whist sucking on her thumb.

”I’ll ask Juda if she has milk powder. As if now can we feed her with anything else?” he glanced at his mum hopefully.

The child’s mother had actually prepared a bit for her arrival but in the apocalypse, it was hard to find a lot of stuff. Including milk powder. the one the mother had stored had already expired and was all clumped up. he was slightly hesitant to feed her with this.

His mum placed the baby on her lap and easily changed her diaper into a new one. ”We can feed her rice water, but it’s not nourishing at all. It’s not advisable to feed new born children that,” she looked conflicted about it

Yue too was not sure feeding her rice water was the way to go. ”We will catch up to the others soon. Let’s wait until then. Juda will have milk power.” He gently poked her chubby cheeks. Her little hands grabbed onto him in a vise grip

As soon as he said this the child’s small eyes glistened and she clutched his finger vigorously.

”See I think she understood us,” her mum exclaimed holding her up. ”Little Zara do you understand us? Nod if you can,”

The baby simply blinked her huge eyes whist sucking her fingers.

”She doesn’t understand us mum,” he said with a small smile. For a second he too believed his mum’s words. How can a child be born intelligent. It was not possible at all. They were just small squishy worms. Only after a few years will they start to understand things.

”Ah! She nodded!” her mum’s exclamation shocked him a bit.

The car veered to the side. He hurriedly steadied it. ”Mum… don’t shout. I got scared,”

”Sorry but look, look she is nodding,” she gestured to her.

Yue hopelessly glanced at the child. the baby was nodding her head off with her eyes half closed. ”She is sleeping... gods. Mum just let her sleep.”

Fan Xui and his dad who remained silent in the back seat leaned froward. ”Can you hand her here. I want to see my granddaughter,”

His mum passed her back carefully.

Through the rear-view mirror, he saw his father delicately holding the child close to his chest. The old man was subtly sniffling whilst holding her small pink hand.

”Dad, are you crying?”

”c-crying? Who is crying ah! I never cry. I got dust in my yes. Right Fan?” he glanced at his son-in-law.

Fan understood his part and nodded. ”yeah, it’s dusty back here,”

Yue frowned. ”Make sure to cover her head. It will be hard if she gets dust in her eyes. You too Chen, shield your eyes.” He closed his son’s eyes.

Chen giggled. ”The windows are closed, dad. Grandfather is just lying. A few times he would cry whilst holding me, saying I am so happy that I have a grandchild,”

He clearly exposed his grandfather with a bright grin.

”Yah! Chen, when did I cry.” His father held Chen’s small hands.

”You do. Whenever I pretend to sleep, you would hold my hand and cry. I saw it all. Don’t lie grandpa. At such an old age why are you lying to a kid? It’s bad,”

”This….” his dad looked at him and then at Chen. ”Fine I cried, so what? I didn’t think I would have grandchildren after you brought home this guy,” he glared at Fan Xui.

Fan, who took the new born baby from him, raised a brow. ”Father, I thought you accepted me,”

”Yeah, sure you are good to my son but I really wanted a grandchild as well. Now thanks to God I have a cute grandson and a new cute granddaughter I can hold in either of my arms…” tears dribbled down his cheeks. He hurriedly wiped them off. ”I’m glad Yue… I’m so glad,”
