Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Yue met up with his family. Now the wait happens. They had to ring the special bell to warn all the remaining survivors here.

It was a specially made bell that rang at five thousand hertz. After years of testing, Qian was able to assure them that only humans could hear its special frequencies of sound. The zombified human lost that ability to hear this frequency.

With that in mind, an alarm bell was made. In case of zombies infiltrated they could ring and warn only the humans of the danger.

In a second, a loud ringing sound rang out.

Yue felt his headache slightly. He squatted down and cupped Zi Chen’s ears. Higher frequencies of sound were very bad for children. As well as for older people….

He glanced back at his father. He frowned slightly.

With a glance around, he checked on all his family members. Everyone he loved was here. Only manager mu and his wife were missing. They were already in lockdown now and since his parents were special ability level, they won’t be allowed to leave this facility for safety purpose. He couldn’t go and save him.

’Manager Mu.. I hope you hear the alarm and run over here.’

The barrack could accommodate only a few thousand people. But if they stuff inside they would be able to fit at least 70 % of the population of the base.

The rest..... They won’t have a place to run to.

Yue massaged his aching head. ”Dad, take care of Chen. I’ll go and check in with Fan. Hary you’re in charge of my family and the scientists. Take good care of them,”’ he passed the mantle to Hary.

”no! I’m coming with you!” Zi Chen peered up at him stubbornly.

”Baby this is not the time to play. it’s very dangerous out there and in going to help your daddy. Please stay with grandma and grandpa, hmm?”

”No, I can fight. I can shoot very well... dad... don’t leave... don’t... I want to go with you,” he clung to his waist.

Yue tried to remove his hands as gently as possible but the kid was very stubborn. ”Baby you can’t,”

”I will. I want to see daddy... I want daddy,” he did not cry but instead he looked up at him with a confident look in his eyes. ”I can protect you both,”

Yue was slightly startled. While raising their child, he had made sure that Chen was exposed to zombies at an early age of three. The ones being captured and tested in prisitsky’s lab were the only zombies he had ever seen.

Even though the kid was taught how to fight and shoot it won’t be enough.

A grown man can’t survive the zombie apocalypse better yet, a child.

”Chen.. I’m sorry I can’t. Daddy is safe. I’ll just go and visit him for a bit. Ill come back.”

”No! no! no!!” he took out a gun from one of the bags Tian left and stood close to him.

It looked like he was ready to bolt as soon he opened the door.

”Chen...”

”I’m ready. I can protect myself, dad!”

Yue lifted him up and handed him to his mother. ”don’t let go of him,”

Within a fraction of a second he bolted out the door and closed it.

”Dad! Don’t leave me!! dad!!! Daddy!!” his screams were heard outside.

Yue took a deep breath to calm his high-stung nerves. ’this needs to be done…. I’m protecting my family…’

After ringing the bell Fan would most likely move to uncle Wen’s farm. They had to safely load up the food in Juda’s space and Jamie’s space and the rest needs to be loaded into trucks.

Yue was heading that way. Fan would most likely join the different soldier teams to fight the zombies. He needed to be with him when it happens. Just a day after wedding he did not want to lose his husband. With them together there was a higher chance of survival.

Right by the gate, Yue saw it. The road was filled with humans running towards the barrack. He was not sure how safe this place will be after so many humans went in. there was a high chance an infected human could enter and everyone could get hurt.

He paused. ”Maybe I should take them to uncle Wen’s house,”’ he ran back in and hurriedly opened the door.

His child was sobbing loudly and he was kicking and wiggling in Hary’s arms.

”Chen... baby...”

”dad....” he sobbed loudly.

”Come here. Dad, mum everyone let’s move to uncle Wen’s house. This place is too crowded I can’t assure you if it will be safe. At the farm we can at least have a nominal level of safety,”

He guided them out. The crowd was already gotten close to the barracks gates. Before they could enter, Yue led them out the gate and towards the back of the barrack where uncle’s house was located.

As soon as they left a huge crowd headed in the barracks some were pushing.

Yue knew there will be casualties because of this mess. But there was no helping it. staying in private houses can help but people did not like that idea.

One year ago they had a vote for this decision. Everyone voted that they wanted to stay in the barracks in case of emergency.

”Dad, come here,” he lifted his dad up in one arm and Chen in another.

”Gosh Yue, did you have to embarrass me in front of my grandchild,” his father mumbled softly.

Zi Chen chuckled, wiping his wet eyes. ”Grandpa is just like me. A baby,”

”Look, now he’s calling me a baby,”

Yue chuckled. ”Yes you are a big baby dad. Everyone knows that.”

He glanced at his mum who had a very cheerful look on her face.

Somehow since he was with his family, his heart was calm. He did not panic as much. He knew his Husband and the people in here will fight back. He would join them too after safeguarding his family.
