Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 973: Chapter 1016: Prank

Seeing him so stubborn, Ling Yueyue thought for a moment and decided to give Huo Junmo her address.

After hanging up the phone, Ling Yueyue stood at the café entrance waiting for Huo Junmo!

Fortunately, the café wasn’t far from the school, just a few stops by car, maximum twenty minutes! So, it wasn’t long before Huo Junmo’s car stopped in front of her.

The car window rolled down, Ling Yueyue glanced inside the car and saw that it wasn’t just Huo Junmo inside—Huo Jiantian was there too!

Seeing Ling Yueyue, Huo Jiantian clearly showed displeasure, his mouth pouting high enough to hang a few bottles of soy sauce!

This time, Huo Junmo didn’t get out of the car to open the car door for Ling Yueyue, instead he said indifferently, ”Get in!”

Despite feeling upset about Huo Junmo’s overbearing attitude, Ling Yueyue knew she was in the wrong, so she said nothing, held her anger in, opened the rear door, and sat inside!

Once Ling Yueyue was settled, Huo Junmo started the Maybach and drove forward!

Ling Yueyue asked irritably, ”Where are you taking me?”

Huo Junmo, expressionless, replied: ”To dinner!”

”Uh...!” Ling Yueyue looked at the back of Huo Junmo’s head, pouted, and said nothing. She just leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes for a little rest.

She’d been too busy earlier, with no time to rest for two whole hours! Now, exhausted, she just wanted to rest, not even having the strength to speak!

However, after closing her eyes for just a moment, Ling Yueyue unknowingly fell asleep!

Unaware of how long she’d been asleep, she woke up amidst bursts of laughter!

”...!” Ling Yueyue involuntarily frowned, first rubbing her temples, then slowly opening her eyes.

The first thing she saw was a European-style crystal chandelier and dark wallpaper.

Staring at the chandelier for a long time, Ling Yueyue’s mind gradually cleared and she remembered she’d accidentally fallen asleep in Huo Junmo’s car!

But she was sure she’d fallen asleep in the car, so how was she in a room now!

Thinking of this, Ling Yueyue suddenly sat up from the bed.

Just as she got up, she saw Huo Jiantian sneaking around at the door, looking guilty, wanting to laugh but holding it back in a comical manner.

Ling Yueyue frowned and asked, ”What are you sneaking around for?”

Huo Jiantian pouted disgruntledly and said, ”I was checking if you were awake! Dad said that if you’re up, you should go down for dinner!”

Ling Yueyue looked at him suspiciously. Although she didn’t believe he was sincerely asking her to go eat, she couldn’t figure out what a little rascal like him could do, so she didn’t doubt further and got off the bed, put on the shoes placed by the bedside, and walked out of the room.

Seeing her not suspecting anything and just heading out, Huo Jiantian couldn’t hold back his laughter anymore. To avoid letting Ling Yueyue hear him, he covered his mouth tightly and then followed her downstairs.

After Ling Yueyue went down, she immediately saw Huo Junmo sitting on the sofa, with one leg crossed, reading a newspaper.

Ling Yueyue went to Huo Junmo’s side and, feeling embarrassed, said, ”Sorry, I was really tired just now, so I fell asleep! Did you carry me to the room earlier?”

Upon hearing this, Huo Junmo lifted his head from the newspaper, but before he could answer Ling Yueyue’s question, his mouth couldn’t help but twitch upon seeing her face, as his gaze shifted to the sly Huo Jiantian following behind Ling Yueyue.

Huo Jiantian quickly suppressed his laughter, turned around, avoiding Huo Junmo’s sharp gaze.

At this moment, a servant saw Ling Yueyue awake and approached her, lowering her head, respectfully saying: ”Madam, the food has been reheated, you may have dinner now!”

”Okay!” Ling Yueyue nodded.

The servant gave an unintentional glance, and upon seeing Ling Yueyue’s face, paused slightly, unable to stop a smile from forming, trying not to laugh but unable to help it.

Seeing the servant trying not to laugh, Ling Yueyue furrowed her brows in confusion.

Then, something even stranger happened! All the passing servants, upon seeing her, had the same urge to laugh but didn’t dare, with a few bold ones directly covering their mouths, laughing to themselves.

Ling Yueyue finally sensed something was wrong and couldn’t help but touch her face! But she didn’t feel anything!

Huo Junmo, still expressionless, said, ”You might want to wash it off in the bathroom!”

”Uh...!” Ling Yueyue was startled, looking around at everyone, finally resting her gaze on Huo Jiantian.

Huo Jiantian wasn’t afraid at all, directly challenging her by raising his chin!

Ling Yueyue glared at him, walked into the bathroom, and upon seeing herself in the mirror, she couldn’t help but scream, ”Ah...!”

Hearing Ling Yueyue’s scream, Huo Jiantian couldn’t hold back anymore, bursting into loud laughter.

Laughing until tears came out! His laughter prompted the household servants to join in, laughing one after another.

”Huo Jiantian...!” As Ling Yueyue listened to the laughter filling the air, she rushed out of the bathroom.

Ling Yueyue confronted Huo Jiantian, pointing at her face, asking, ”Huo Jiantian, tell me, was it you?”

Regarding Ling Yueyue’s fury, Huo Jiantian wasn’t bothered at all, candidly admitting, ”It was me, just me! I took the opportunity while you were asleep and drew a big turtle on your face. Who told you to try to seduce my dad! Hmph... I’m telling you, as long as I’m here, I’ll never let you marry my dad!”

”If I don’t act like a tiger, you think I’m a kitten! You little brat, watch how I teach you a lesson today! Outrageous!” Ling Yueyue said, reaching out to grab Huo Jiantian.

Huo Jiantian had anticipated her move, quickly turning and running, evading Ling Yueyue’s ’evil hand!’ As he ran, he didn’t forget to taunt her harshly, ”Big turtle, you’re just a big turtle! Big turtle!”

”Huo Jiantian, if I don’t give you a good lesson today, I won’t be Ling Yueyue!” The more Huo Jiantian mocked, the higher Ling Yueyue’s anger soared.

The damn little brat actually dared during her nap to draw a big turtle with a black marker on her face! And more, next to the big turtle was even drawn a pile of poop!

What’s worse, she had come downstairs without realizing it, allowing all the villa’s servants to see her in this embarrassing state, even Huo Junmo saw it!

It was infuriating, really maddening!

Thinking that he’s a kid without a mom, she used to give him some slack, now it seems taking it easier only lets him push further! Today, she must surely teach him a good lesson, let him know, Ling Yueyue isn’t easy to bully, see if he dares to bully her again in the future!
