Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 860: Chapter 903: Derailing

Feeling the warmth transferred from his lips, Ye Anxin suddenly felt a wave of disgust in her stomach! Her tightly clenched fist loosened and clenched again, repeating this process many times!

When Mu Rufeng was about to pry open her teeth and invade her mouth, she finally couldn’t bear it anymore and forcefully pushed him away.

Caught off guard, Mu Rufeng was pushed by Ye Anxin onto the bed behind! Supporting himself on the bed with both hands, Mu Rufeng stared at Ye Anxin in astonishment, with deep shock and confusion in his eyes!

Ye Anxin’s petite body kept retreating, only stopping when she hit the headboard, curling her legs up to her chest, hugging her knees, gently shaking her head, and emotionally exclaiming: ”I’m sorry, I’m sorry...! I’ve tried hard, but still can’t help it! I can’t recall our past, can’t remember the feelings I had for you! So... I’m sorry...!”

Mu Rufeng was initially stunned, then quickly reacted, seeing that Ye Anxin seemed frightened by him, he hurriedly sat over, held her hands, and apologized sincerely: ”I’m sorry, I was too hasty! I should have let you get used to it first, wait for you to recover your memory before anything else! Don’t be afraid, I’m not going to touch you until you’re ready!”

The more Mu Rufeng showed understanding, the more guilty Ye Anxin felt, ”Rufeng, I’m sorry, I’m sorry! Give me some time, I will gradually adjust my mindset! Please don’t get angry!”

Mu Rufeng gently patted her hand to comfort her, ”Don’t worry, I won’t get angry! You’ve just woken up, your body hasn’t fully recovered, I won’t blame you! It was my impatience, I shouldn’t have been so eager!”

Ye Anxin stayed silent, only looking at Mu Rufeng with overwhelming guilt, not knowing what to do!

Clearly, as a couple, no matter what they do, it should be natural! Yet, she just couldn’t accept it! Mu Rufeng’s presence felt so unfamiliar to her! She couldn’t remember anything, not a single familiar feeling!

Being kissed by him, she even felt nauseated!

Why did it end up like this? How could it end up like this? Did she forget even her husband’s touch after losing her memory?

Ye Anxin couldn’t understand, but there was nothing she could do!

Seeing Ye Anxin’s body curled into a ball, Mu Rufeng felt a pang of heartache.

He knew he had been too hasty! However, any normal man wouldn’t be able to remain unmoved in front of the woman he has loved for ten years! Especially when this woman was now his wife!

However, he underestimated Ye Anxin’s willpower! Her memories of the past were too strong, so strong that even a slight touch from him made her resist and recoil!

Although he felt disappointed, he also knew he couldn’t rush things!

He loved her, so he would patiently wait for her to gradually accept him! As long as he treated her well, he believed that in the days to come, she would fall in love with him again.

”Don’t be afraid, I won’t touch you until you remember our past! I’ll sleep on the sofa outside, I will wait for you, I will never hurt you!” Saying this, in hope that Ye Anxin would recover more quickly, he stood up and walked to the wardrobe, taking out a quilt from inside.

”Rufeng...!” Seeing that he was really planning to sleep on the sofa outside, Ye Anxin felt even more guilty.

A couple with the woman sleeping on the bed and the man on the sofa, isn’t that a bit too much?

”It’s okay! You go to sleep first! I’m a grown man, sleeping on the sofa isn’t a problem!” Saying this, he walked to the door, waved at Ye Anxin, and turned the doorknob to leave!

To reassure Ye Anxin, he also closed the door tightly!

After Mu Rufeng left, looking at the closed door, although Ye Anxin felt very guilty, she also noticeably breathed a sigh of relief!

Not long after Mu Rufeng left the room, Ye Anxin felt a wave of drowsiness hit her!

Hardly giving her any time to think, she lay back on the bed and fell asleep instantly!

Meanwhile, when Mu Rufeng left the room with the quilt, Mu Mother was sitting on the sofa in the living room watching TV!

Seeing Mu Rufeng coming out, she asked without lifting her head, ”She took the medicine and fell asleep?”

”Yes!” Mu Rufeng nodded and sat down next to Mu Mother.

Only then did Mu Mother shift her gaze to Mu Rufeng, seeing the quilt in his arms, puzzled, she asked, ”Why are you carrying a quilt instead of going to bed at this hour?”

Mu Rufeng calmly replied, ”I was worried Anxin wouldn’t get used to it, so I’m sleeping on the sofa tonight!”

Upon hearing this, Mu Mother couldn’t help but widen her eyes and said with exasperation, ”You can’t be serious! Son, you’ve done so much just to be with her! Now you’re telling me one sleeps on the bed, the other on the sofa! Are you dumb! Don’t you know that to win a woman’s heart, it’s best to start with her body? Anyway, she doesn’t remember anything now, wouldn’t it be great if you just have her?”

Mu Rufeng explained, ”Mom! She just woke up and hasn’t completely adapted to her new identity! So, I can’t rush, or it will scare her!”

Mu Mother scornfully said, ”Look at you, scared of everything! If you had gotten Ye Anxin’s body earlier, she wouldn’t have married Mu Beiting! As a man, you should have claimed her sooner!”

Mu Rufeng sighed helplessly, ”Mom... Anxin is different from other women! It’s like we’re starting over! This is the most critical time, I don’t want to leave a bad impression! I want to take it one step at a time to capture her heart, make her willing to entrust herself to me and bear my children!”

”Forget it, forget it, I’m too lazy to care anymore, do whatever you want! Anyway, all your heart and mind are on Ye Anxin, you won’t listen to anything I say! Anyway, I just hope you don’t regret it someday!” Saying this, Mu Mother picked up the remote to turn off the TV and went back to her room.

After Mu Mother left, Mu Rufeng didn’t go to sleep immediately. Instead, he picked up the phone to make a call from the table.

After making the call, only then did he return to the sofa in the living room to sleep.

......

A few days later in Jin City, at the Mu Family Villa.

Pete had been staying here for a whole week! During this week, except for mealtimes and bathing, Mu Beiting was almost always with him!

During this week, Ruan Zhitong slept alone every night!

Every morning before going to school, Xiao Bai would play with Xiao Chu Yi for a while, and the first thing he would do after returning home would be to play with Xiao Chu Yi!

Xiao Chu Yi wanted everyone in the house except Ruan Zhitong, no matter how she coaxed him, as soon as she touched Xiao Chu Yi, he would cry intensely!

The situation developed beyond her initial plan, and Xiao Chu Yi’s satisfaction, along with Mu Beiting’s busyness, made her mood irritable and restless.
