Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 631: Chapter 674: Let Her Get a Taste of Hardship

When Xiao Bai heard this, he realized they misunderstood him. Unhurriedly, he explained, ”You’re overthinking! That person said she wanted to make it up to me and my dad, so I want to see her sincerity! Remember what I said today. Don’t do anything, leave everything for her! If any of you help her, you can leave here! Got it?”

Everyone suddenly realized what was going on!

The young master was clearly intending to mess with Mo Xuehong!

They used to think the young master was quite mature, sensible, and steady! But ever since Madam returned, they noticed the young master gradually regained a bit of childlike innocence! However, they had no idea the young master also had such a mischievous and childish side.

Ye Anxin couldn’t help but speak up, ”Xiao Bai, you’re going too far!”

Xiao Bai pouted and said confidently, ”I’m not going too far at all! She’s the one who said she wanted to make amends. I’m just giving her a chance! I’m just testing her sincerity, I hate people who fake it the most!”

”Young Master, we understand! We know what to do!” Since they didn’t have to do any work and could still get paid, everyone naturally nodded in agreement.

Mu Beiting, although he didn’t take his eyes off the newspaper, clearly had a hint of amusement flash in his eyes, and his tightly pressed thin lips curled into a handsome arc.

In the kitchen, Mo Xuehong, who was washing dishes, unconsciously squeezed the dish harder and harder, her knuckles turning white from the exertion.

If it weren’t for the sturdiness of the dish, it would have likely shattered from her grip.

That damn little brat dared to mess with her like this! If he thinks he can make her leave this way, no way! She has to hold on for a few days, get the results, and then properly teach that brat a lesson to vent the anger in her heart!

”Alright, everyone, go take a rest! Put down whatever you’re doing and let her do it after she’s done! Remember, if any of you dare to help her with the work, then get lost!” After saying this, he took Ye Anxin’s hand, walked over to Mu Beiting, squinted his eyes, and excitedly asked, ”Daddy, do you think I did the right thing?”

Mu Beiting pursed his lips without speaking, giving Xiao Bai a thumbs up.

”...!” Ye Anxin couldn’t help but roll her eyes! These two must have planned this in advance!

In the days to come, Mo Xuehong was estimated to have a tough time! Even if she wanted to do something bad, she probably wouldn’t have the time or energy! Just the tasks around the villa would exhaust her.

”Let’s go! Let’s go to the study and read! To avoid seeing people we don’t want to see here!” Saying this, he took Mu Beiting’s hand with his free hand.

Mu Beiting placed the newspaper on the coffee table, and with Ye Anxin, took Xiao Bai’s hand and went up to the second floor.

As soon as the study door closed, Xiao Bai couldn’t hold back anymore and laughed heartily, ”Haha, I’m dying of laughter! Mom, did you see that woman’s face just now? She must be furious! Haha... serves her right, really serves her right, who told her to try every possible way to sneak into our house, I’ll show her my prowess and see if she dares to act up again!”

”Xiao Bai, I always thought you were quite mature and sensible, why did you do something so childish today!” said Ye Anxin, but there was an uncontainable smile on her lips.

There’s no denying it, seeing Mo Xuehong, full of anger but unable to vent it and having to hold back to please, really felt satisfying!

Mo Xuehong probably never imagined, after trying every possible way to return to this house, that Xiao Bai would treat her this way!

Xiao Bai sat back in his chair behind the desk, raised an eyebrow, and confidently said, ”Childish? I don’t think so! In the TV shows I’ve watched, the protagonists treat people they don’t like just like this! I just don’t like her, so I’m going to mess with her until she’s done for. Let her see that we’re not easy to bully!”

”You! There’s really no dealing with you! Next time when you’re messing with her, don’t do it in front of me, or it will be hard for me to stay composed!” Ye Anxin shook her head helplessly!

Xiao Bai pursed his lips, smiled, and said, ”Got it! I know you want to pretend to be the good person! Don’t worry, I won’t make things difficult for you!”

Ye Anxin said speechlessly, ”Uncle, look at your son, see who he’s learning from!”

Mu Beiting gave a thumbs up and said seriously, ”Hmm! He’s learned well, worthy of performance!”

”Pfft...!” The more serious Mu Beiting was, the harder it was for Ye Anxin to hold back her laughter! This father and son duo are just an incredible pair of hilarious treasures!

”Alright, alright, there’s no dealing with you two!” Ye Anxin shook her head helplessly, no longer discussing the topic with them, instead pulling out a book and sitting on the sofa with Xiao Bai to read together.

Today, as usual, after reading for a while, the three came out of the study, went to their rooms to shower and sleep.

When the three of them walked out of the study, Xiao Bai deliberately stood at the top of the stairs and glanced down, but upon seeing Mo Xuehong leaning over to clean and taking out the trash, he was in a great mood, and his smile widened uncontrollably.

”Let’s go, stop looking!” Ye Anxin gently knocked on his forehead, took his hand, and led him back to his room.

After Xiao Bai showered and got into bed, Ye Anxin and Mu Beiting finally left.

Before returning to their room, Ye Anxin couldn’t resist standing at the top of the stairs and looked down! Mo Xuehong was still working! When she was tired, she would straighten up, gently tap her waist, and wipe off the sweat on her forehead.

Seeing Mo Xuehong working so hard, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but ask, ”Uncle, were these chores all done by you when you were younger?”

”Hmm!” Mu Beiting responded indifferently, his face showing no emotion.

Ye Anxin felt a twinge in her heart and said meaningfully, ”Just by looking at Mo Xuehong working, you can tell she’s never done such heavy work in her life! Xiao Bai’s approach is right, she should have a taste of the hardship you went through back then!”

Mu Beiting said nothing, his thin lips tightly pressed into a line, his eyes never stopping on Mo Xuehong.

”Let’s go! Let’s go back to our room and get some rest!” With that, Ye Anxin and Mu Beiting held hands and returned to their room together.

.........

The next day, when Ye Anxin got up and went downstairs, Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai were still sitting on the sofa as usual, but unlike before, they weren’t watching financial news. Xiao Bai was resting his chin on one hand, watching the dining area with schadenfreude, while Mu Beiting crossed his legs and read the newspaper.

Ye Anxin raised an eyebrow, walked down the stairs, and sat next to Xiao Bai, following his gaze to the dining room! Only then did she notice, Mo Xuehong was preparing breakfast in the kitchen, and Xiao Bai was watching her as if she were a thief, just in case she slacked off.

Ye Anxin asked softly, ”Is everything at school sorted out? Are you going to school after breakfast?”
