Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 606: Chapter 649: Someone I Don’t Want to See

Because Ye Anxin just took over the Nanshang Group, there are so many things to do, she’s completely overwhelmed! She’s been stuck here for more than half a month!

It wasn’t until more than half a month later that she slowly began to understand some of the internal operations of the Nanshang Group. However, certain project decisions still required Mu Beiting’s decision!

She was still just a nominal president; everything was being handled by Mu Beiting, Pete, and Lin Hua!

However, among them, Pete was probably the busiest!

Pete had been traveling between Jin City and Du City during this period. He needed to handle Mu Group’s affairs and bring issues he couldn’t solve to Du City for Mu Beiting to address, all while helping Ye Anxin handle Nanshang Group’s matters!

No matter where or when, Mu Beiting was always by Ye Anxin’s side!

After smoothly handling the affairs of Nanshang Group, Ye Anxin and Mu Beiting were finally able to return to Jin City! They finally saw their son Xiao Bai, whom they missed day and night!

To spend time with Xiao Bai, they specially chose the weekend to return home!

At this time, Xiao Bai was braving the cold wind, sitting on a cradle in the garden waiting for them!

Seeing Xiao Bai’s little face turning pale from the cold, Ye Anxin said distressedly, ”Xiao Bai, it’s so cold outside, why don’t you come inside? What if you catch a cold?”

Xiao Bai pouted, feeling aggrieved, ”I was waiting for you! It’s been so long since I saw you, I missed you!”

Anxin comforted him, ”Xiao Bai, I’m sorry, there have been a lot of things recently, so I didn’t have time to be with you! But don’t worry, things in Du City are almost dealt with, I won’t leave you for too long in the future! Things that can be dealt with, I’ll bring to Jin City, and if they can’t be handled, I’ll go to Du City!”

Xiao Bai asked incredulously, ”Really?”

Ye Anxin nodded and solemnly promised, ”Of course! Mom keeps her word!”

Upon hearing this, Xiao Bai’s complexion looked a bit better. He nodded and said, ”I trust you! You must be tired from the journey! Let Dad take you back to the room to rest! Don’t exhaust the little sister in your tummy!”

Ye Anxin asked worriedly, ”Don’t you want mom to stay with you?”

Xiao Bai sensibly said, ”You can accompany me after you’ve rested! Anyway, I have time these couple of days, it doesn’t matter right now!”

”Xiao Bai is so sensible! Then mom will go back to the room to rest with dad first, and come to accompany you later!” After several days of fatigue, Ye Anxin was indeed tired, both physically and mentally!

”Hmm! Rest well! I’m going to the study to read too!” Saying this, Xiao Bai jumped down from the cradle, took Ye Anxin’s hand, and went into the house together, heading up to the second floor! Ye Anxin went to the master bedroom to rest, while Xiao Bai went to the study to read!

.........

The affairs of Nanshang Group were almost entirely settled, most of the time with Lin Hua stationed there. For affairs he could handle, he dealt with them himself. For those he couldn’t, he would video call Mu Beiting for him to handle!

During this period, Ye Anxin also saw Lin Hua’s competence!

Just as Nan Mingchuan said before he left, Lin Hua was indeed a trustworthy person; not only competent, but also wholeheartedly loyal to the Nanshang Group!

In her spare time, Ye Anxin would ask Mu Beiting about business matters, working hard to learn, hoping to quickly take charge of Nanshang Group and share the responsibilities on Mu Beiting’s shoulders!

Another month passed in a blink, and Ye Anxin’s belly grew larger, getting closer to the day of delivery!

After being busy for more than a month, she finally found time to take a breather and go out with Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai to have some fun and wander around.

Because of the Nanshang Group’s issues, Ye Anxin had long forgotten about Mo Xuehong!

Strangely, during this period, Mo Xuehong seemed to have vanished into thin air, never appearing in front of Mu Beiting and Ye Anxin again.

Just when Ye Anxin almost completely forgot about her, she appeared before them once more!

One day, when Ye Anxin got up, the ground, the roof, and the trees outside were all covered in white, and light snow began to fall from the sky!

Because of the snow, Mu Beiting didn’t go for his morning jog, opting instead to sit on the sofa in the lobby with Xiao Bai, watching financial news.

Ye Anxin grasped the stair railing with one hand and supported her waist with the other, slowly walking down from upstairs.

Hearing footsteps, Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai both raised their heads. Seeing Ye Anxin coming downstairs, they quickly went over, each taking one side, helping her down. Xiao Bai excitedly exclaimed, as if presenting a treasure, ”Mom, it’s snowing outside, did you see it?”

Ye Anxin sighed, with a deeper meaning, ”Yes! It’s snowing outside! This is the first winter mom and Xiao Bai have spent together!”

Xiao Bai smiled, ”We will spend every winter together in the future!”

Ye Anxin pressed her lips into a smile, looking out at the snowy scene, her thoughts unaware drifting back to five years ago on that snowy day!

The uncle made snowmen with her; they had a snowball fight on the rooftop of Mu Group, filmed videos, and took photos!

However, those videos and photos are now nowhere to be found; the phone that took them has disappeared somewhere!

Looking at the snowy scene outside, Ye Anxin said, ”Uncle, are you going to the company today?”

Mu Beiting replied, ”I’ll go after breakfast!”

”I’ll go with you! I haven’t been to the uncle’s company for a long time; it’s snowing today, the air is nice, I want to go out and get some fresh air!” More importantly, she wanted to go to Mu Group’s rooftop to take a look. Although things had changed, she could still relive the memories and feelings!

Without a moment’s thought, Mu Beiting decisively agreed, ”Okay!”

Hearing that both of them were going to the company, Xiao Bai unhappily said, ”You’re both going to the company, then what about me?”

Ye Anxin chuckled and patted Xiao Bai’s head, comforting him, ”You need to study at home! Soon it will be winter vacation, then you can go wherever you want!”

”Hmph!” Upon hearing this, Xiao Bai snorted, pouting, and sulkily walked over to sit at the dining table.

Seeing his childish demeanor, Ye Anxin shook her head helplessly and, hand in hand with Mu Beiting, went to sit at the dining table.

After breakfast, Xiao Bai went upstairs to study with Teacher Luo, while Ye Anxin and Mu Beiting drove to the company.

Worried about Ye Anxin catching cold, Mu Beiting specifically got her an extra thick coat.

After the driver delivered them to the entrance of Mu Group, Mu Beiting was the first to get out of the car, then opened the door for Ye Anxin, carefully helping her out!

”Thank you!” Ye Anxin gave Mu Beiting a sweet smile, looping her arm through his, they walked towards the company entrance!

Just as they reached the company entrance, upon seeing someone not far away, Ye Anxin’s smile froze.
