Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 123: Chapter 123: Have You Fallen in Love with Me?

Ye Anxin smiled and nodded, ”Miss Ruan, we must make time to get together more often, and chat more!”

”I will!” Ruan Zhitong nodded, lowered her head, didn’t look at Mu Beiting again, and turned to leave.

From start to finish, Mu Beiting didn’t look at her once, nor did he speak to her, as if she were just a stranger he’d never met.

At this moment, the shop assistant had already packed the clothes, and Mu Beiting led Ye Anxin to the counter, taking out his black card.

Ye Anxin didn’t fight over paying with him; anyway, she bought clothes for him as a gift, and now he’s buying clothes for her, so she considered it a gift from him.

With a beloved man giving her gifts, she just felt happy and wouldn’t hypocritically refuse.

This time, Ye Anxin bought quite a lot of clothes, and Mu Beiting carried the shopping bags with his large hands.

They strolled around the mall a bit more until they were tired and hungry, and then chose a rooftop western restaurant to have dinner.

Throughout the process, Mu Beiting, although not like other men who chat and laugh with their female companions, was diligently following Ye Anxin around, carrying her things.

Ye Anxin wasn’t a spendthrift, but she was very happy today, so she couldn’t help but buy many things.

When they sat down in the restaurant, Ye Anxin was completely exhausted, placed the shopping bags on the opposite chair, and started gently massaging her own shoulders and arms with her little fists, also thoughtfully massaging Mu Beiting’s arms.

While massaging Mu Beiting, Ye Anxin asked tenderly, ”Uncle, you must be really tired! I’m sorry, I was just too happy today and couldn’t help but lose track of time! You finally have a day off, do you feel more tired than when you’re at the company?”

”Not tired!” Mu Beiting’s gaze softened, taking her hands and gently massaging them, finger by finger.

Ye Anxin chuckled sweetly and said happily, ”Uncle, you’re really good at this!”

Mu Beiting remained silent, finishing massaging both her hands.

Ye Anxin raised her eyes, looking at Mu Beiting’s focused, handsome face, and couldn’t help but say, ”Uncle, it’s wonderful to be able to marry you!”

Mu Beiting was silent for a moment, then suddenly asked, ”You don’t regret it?”

”No, why would I regret it? I’ve never regretted it! Aside from my mother, you’re the person who treats me the best in the world! Why would I regret it? I’m very lucky, thank goodness the person who met Uncle back then was me!” Ye Anxin’s eyes squinted with joy, her face couldn’t hide her happiness.

Mu Beiting looked up, his gaze deep, ”So, you fell in love with me?”

Upon hearing this, Ye Anxin’s cheeks turned red, she bowed her head to avoid his probing gaze, embarrassed to answer.

Mu Beiting saw her expression and his eyes twinkled with amusement.

At this moment, the waiter brought the western dishes they ordered to the table and placed them in front of them! Mu Beiting unfolded a napkin and placed it on her lap, then handed her the knife and fork, ”Hurry up and eat! It won’t taste good if it gets cold!”

”Okay!” Ye Anxin nodded, taking the knife and fork he handed her, and started eating ravenously without saying a word.

As for Mu Beiting’s earlier question, although she didn’t answer, she already had an answer in her heart.

She found that loving someone was truly amazing! She never loved Mu Rufeng during the two years with him, she only ever felt gratitude towards him! Therefore, when she found out Mu Rufeng betrayed her, she let go quickly! But after only being with Mu Beiting for two weeks, she’d already fallen in love with him!

Indeed, loving someone isn’t about time, but about whether he’s the right person for you!

Mu Beiting glanced at her quietly with his profound eyes, then silently cut the steak on his plate into pieces and placed them on her plate.

”Uncle, I’ve had enough, don’t give it all to me, you need to eat too! What if you go hungry?” Ye Anxin looked up, returning the cut steak to his plate.

Mu Beiting glanced at her, ate a few bites of the returned steak, and then placed the rest back on her plate, ”I’m full!”

Seeing his earnest expression, Ye Anxin bit her lip and finally obediently ate all the steak he offered.

After eating, they each drank a glass of juice before leaving, carrying their shopping bags.

When they finished eating and came out of the mall, it was already past eight in the evening! As soon as they left the mall, the driver in a nearby business car got out and rushed over to take the shopping bags from Mu Beiting, placing them in the trunk.

Once in the car, Ye Anxin linked her arm with Mu Beiting’s and leaned against his arm, too tired to speak.

The car drove steadily on the road, and Ye Anxin unknowingly fell asleep leaning against Mu Beiting’s arm.

Mu Beiting looked down at the top of her head, then gently freed his arm from her grip, finding the most comfortable position for her to lean into his embrace, with a single arm around her slender waist.

Time slipped away, and as the evening progressed, Jin City’s traffic increased with more people and cars! It took a full hour and a half to return to the villa.

”Sir, Madam she...!” The driver parked the car at the villa’s entrance and glanced at the sleeping Ye Anxin.

Mu Beiting glanced coldly and softly said, ”Don’t wake her, just take the things inside for me!”

”Yes!” The driver obeyed, got out of the car first to open the door for Mu Beiting. After Mu Beiting carefully carried Ye Anxin into the villa, the driver took the shopping bags from the trunk and followed them in.

Having served Mu Beiting for nearly ten years, it’s the first time he’s seen the boss be so gentle, considerate, and attentive to a woman!

He truly hopes the boss can remain happy like this forever!

Ye Anxin was indeed very tired, so even when Mu Beiting carried her to their room and wiped her face and body with a warm towel, she only shifted slightly, murmuring softly before rolling over and returning to sleep in a more comfortable position.

Seeing her adorable state, Mu Beiting couldn’t help but smile, carefully removing her clothes and changing her into the sexy nightgown Yan Qinghan had sent her yesterday, then tucking her in.

After making sure everything was settled, he hung the clothes they bought today in the closet before grabbing a towel and heading into the bathroom to shower.

Half an hour later, the bathroom door opened, and Mu Beiting walked to the bedside wearing boxers, wiping water droplets from his hair.

Once his hair was halfway dry, he gently climbed into bed, cradling Ye Anxin in his arms.

Feeling the familiar presence, Ye Anxin murmured softly, rolled over, and like an octopus, wrapped herself around Mu Beiting, finding a very comfortable spot to sleep soundly.

She slept so soundly, yet because of her actions, Mu Beiting, who had been in a deep slumber, suddenly woke up.
