Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 101: Chapter 101: Tactless

Mu Beiting’s face, which had just softened, tensed up again after hearing the butler’s words! His deep eyes were as dark as water, and his attractive thin lips were pressed into a line!

Ye Anxin looked at Mu Beiting, and naively asked, ”He’s here! Didn’t he say he didn’t have time?”

The butler glanced at Mu Beiting’s displeased face, then at Ye Anxin’s smiling face, and asked uncertainly, ”So what does madam mean?”

”Uncle!” Ye Anxin finally noticed that Mu Beiting seemed unhappy and cautiously called out.

Earlier, Uncle was fine; why is he suddenly unhappy again? Did she do something wrong?

The butler, emboldened, went to consult Mu Beiting again, ”Sir!”

Mu Beiting’s thin lips parted slightly as he issued a command without hesitation, ”Drive him away!”

Ye Anxin frowned and said worriedly, ”Uncle, isn’t this bad! He has helped us after all. Just driving him away like this might be too much!”

As soon as Ye Anxin finished speaking, Yan Qinghan’s voice suddenly echoed in the villa, ”Ah, little sister-in-law understands social norms, knowing that one should repay kindness! Unlike you, who is truly ungrateful!”

Mu Beiting’s eyes were like torches as he coldly looked toward the villa entrance.

Behind Yan Qinghan, a servant hurriedly ran in and fearfully explained, ”Sir, Mr. Yan insisted on coming in, I couldn’t stop him!”

Yan Qinghan chuckled, striding to the dining table and sitting down angrily, ”I say, Mu Beiting, you’re really uncool! I asked little sister-in-law to invite me for a meal, and you let Pete brush me off! I thought little sister-in-law didn’t have time, but you were eating alone at home! That’s too much! Luckily, I’m smart and played along, otherwise I would have been fooled by you!”

Hearing this, Ye Anxin looked blankly at Mu Beiting.

She remembered, Uncle just said Yan Qinghan was busy! How is it that things are completely different from what Uncle said? Did Uncle lie to her? Why would he lie to her?

Mu Beiting’s handsome face flushed slightly, and he coldly spat out a word, ”Get out...!”

”I won’t! Now that I’m here, you can forget about driving me away! Today, no matter what, I must taste little sister-in-law’s cooking!” Saying this, he cheekily turned to Ye Anxin, ”Little sister-in-law, I’m sure you wouldn’t mind letting me have a bite, right? Don’t forget, I’ve been kind to you two lovebirds!”

”No, no, you sit down, I’ll get you some rice!” Ye Anxin shook her head vigorously, saying this and getting up to go to the kitchen to get rice, but was stopped by Mu Beiting.

Ye Anxin looked at him in confusion, ”Uncle...!”

Fearing he would refuse, Yan Qinghan quickly emphasized loudly, ”Mu Beiting, we are brothers after all!”

Mu Beiting pulled Ye Anxin to sit back in her original seat, and shot a cold glance at the butler.

The butler nodded and voluntarily went to the kitchen to bring a bowl of rice for Yan Qinghan.

Yan Qinghan stuffed a mouthful of rice and while eating, said, ”Little sister-in-law, see how much Mu Beiting cares about you, afraid you’ll get tired, he didn’t want you to serve me rice!”

Mu Beiting frowned slightly, ”Butler, see the guest out!”

”Fine, fine, I won’t say anything, just eating!” Yan Qinghan quickly raised his hands in surrender.

Only then did Mu Beiting remain silent.

Yan Qinghan silently buried his head, shoveling food into his mouth, eating big mouthfuls of dishes, while not forgetting to praise Ye Anxin’s excellent cooking skills.

Watching the plates on the table gradually being emptied, Mu Beiting’s face turned terrifyingly gloomy.

After being fully satisfied with food and drink, Yan Qinghan leaned back in his chair, burped loudly with his belly bulging, and contentedly picked his teeth.
