Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 111: Chapter 111: Wait for My Instructions

”I’ve been married to him for half a month and never knew he barely sleeps! As his wife, I’m really incompetent!” Hearing the housekeeper say this, Ye Anxin realized she never truly understood Mu Beiting! She didn’t even know how hard he worked every day, and yet she sent him to sleep in the study!

Thinking of this, Ye Anxin’s heart was full of guilt, wishing she could immediately find Mu Beiting and apologize to him.

The housekeeper saw her expression, realized he might have said too much, and quickly explained, ”Madam, don’t be upset! It’s not that you didn’t know some things, it’s that sir deliberately hid them from you! So, no need to feel guilty!”

”Mm! I understand! I’ll go upstairs first!” Ye Anxin nodded and walked from the sofa towards the staircase.

Watching her leave, the housekeeper still felt uneasy and said, ”Madam, don’t overthink! Sir must not be angry with you!”

”I know, I’m fine!” Ye Anxin nodded, went upstairs back to the room, gathered her courage, and finally took out her phone to call Yan Qinghan.

The call was quickly answered, and Yan Qinghan’s playful voice came through, ”Little sister-in-law, you finally called! I thought you’d call yesterday, made me wait all night!”

Ye Anxin hesitated a moment before speaking, ”Um... Uncle didn’t come back last night at all, I... had no choice but to call you!”

Yan Qinghan chuckled, ”What does little sister-in-law want to know?”

Ye Anxin bit her lip and said, ”I want to know what you talked about that day? Why is Uncle avoiding me? Is he still angry with me, blaming me?”

Yan Qinghan laughed, ”I can’t say! Mu Beiting seriously warned me that if I tell, he’d break all ties with me!”

”Uh...!” The more Yan Qinghan said this, the more uneasy Ye Anxin felt, believing the situation might be much more serious than imagined.

Just when Ye Anxin was disappointed and ready to hang up, the voice on the other end, Yan Qinghan, spoke, ”Although I can’t tell you why he’s upset, I can tell you how to make him not upset!”

Ye Anxin’s eyes lit up, ”What can I do?”

Yan Qinghan feigned mystery, ”I won’t tell you now! You’ll know at eight tonight! Remember to do exactly as I say; whether or not Uncle calms down depends on you!”

Ye Anxin asked, half-believing, ”Should I call you at eight?”

Yan Qinghan replied, ”No need, I’ll give you instructions then! Just follow them, no need to call me, as my phone definitely won’t connect!”

”Okay! I’ll wait for your instructions!” Ye Anxin thought it over, finally gritted her teeth, and agreed.

As long as Uncle calms down, doesn’t get angry, she’ll agree to anything!

Besides, Yan Qinghan and Uncle are friends; although he’s unreliable, his heart is in the right place for Mu Beiting!

”Alright, I’m hanging up! Remember, don’t go out, wait at home for my instructions! If things go awry, don’t say I didn’t warn you; Mu Beiting gets very angry, and the consequences are serious!” Before hanging up, Yan Qinghan didn’t forget to remind several times.

”Alright, I understand!” Ye Anxin nodded solemnly, as if reassuring herself.

”Then I’m hanging up!” Yan Qinghan’s sly smile came through the phone, and he hung up.
