Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 87: Chapter 87: Everything’s in Chaos

”Since there’s no problem, let’s go!” Ye Anxin said, wrapping Mu Beiting’s uninjured arm and pulling him up.

Mu Beiting didn’t resist, letting her pull him along as they left together.

Pete left a step ahead, opened the car door, and waited for them to get in before returning to the driver’s seat, heading straight to the hospital.

Afraid of wasting time, Pete deliberately called the doctor on the way to the hospital, asking the doctor to make some time for them.

By the time Mu Beiting and others arrived, the doctor was already waiting in the office!

The re-examination went smoothly, and the wound recovered well. A thick scab had formed on the wound, and once it fell off, everything would be healed! There would be no need for even anti-inflammatory drugs.

However, because the wound was too deep, there would be a scar which, over time, would slowly fade but never completely disappear.

Leaving the hospital, Ye Anxin glanced at Mu Beiting’s injured arm, asking with deep concern, ”Uncle, does the wound still hurt?”

Mu Beiting shook his head in response.

Ye Anxin asked again, ”Does it itch?”

”...” Mu Beiting looked at her without saying anything.

Ye Anxin blinked and explained, ”When the wound scabs, it always itches. Is it very itchy?”

Only then did Mu Beiting answer, ”A little bit!”

Ye Anxin quickly said, ”If it itches, you must not scratch it, understand? Be careful not to let the wound get infected! If it’s really unbearable, blow on it with your lips, that might help a lot! It’s a pity I can’t be with you all the time, otherwise, I could supervise you!”

Seeing her suddenly sad little face, Mu Beiting’s gaze shifted and he stiffly said, ”I can bear it!”

Ye Anxin nodded her little head seriously and said, ”You must hold on!”

Walking behind them, listening to their conversation, Pete glanced at his watch anxiously, dying to urge them, but didn’t dare to speak up.

At this time, all the company’s executives were already waiting at the company, yet the BOSS didn’t seem in any hurry at all! Sigh... Women are trouble, this saying is so true!

He never thought that the always overwhelming BOSS would have such a day!

Just as Pete was contemplating whether to urge them, he finally heard Ye Anxin’s hopeful voice, ”It’s about time, I need to go to school! Uncle, you and Pete go back to the company first. I can take a bus to school by myself!”

Mu Beiting insisted in an unquestionable tone, ”I’ll drive you!”

Upon hearing Mu Beiting’s words, the hope that briefly appeared on Pete’s face instantly disappeared.

The hospital, the school, and the company form a triangle! It takes at least half an hour from the hospital to Madam’s school, and if there’s traffic, it could be an hour or two! Then from Madam’s school to the company takes another hour!

Coming and going, it would be noon! No point in holding meetings anymore! The morning schedule is all messed up!

Sigh...!

Ye Anxin hurriedly waved her hands to refuse, ”No need, really no need. I can take the bus myself! There’s a direct bus from here to our school!”

With a displeased expression, Mu Beiting domineeringly replied, ”My woman taking the bus?”

Afraid he’d get angry again, Ye Anxin reluctantly nodded in agreement, ”Alright then!”

Mu Beiting glanced at Pete, who weakly nodded and then went to the parking lot to get the car.

By the time Mu Beiting and Ye Anxin reached the hospital entrance, Pete had already driven the car around!

They both got in the car, and after taking Ye Anxin to the school gate and watching her go inside, Mu Beiting finally let Pete drive away.
