Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 64: Chapter 64: Pack Up and Get Out

The housekeeper already felt guilty, and when questioned by Mu Beiting, couldn’t hold back anymore. He quickly bowed his head to admit his mistake, ”Sir, I’m sorry, I failed to protect the madam, it was my negligence, please punish me!”

”What happened to her?” Hearing this, Mu Beiting’s expression turned stern, with an urgency and concern in his voice that even he hadn’t noticed.

Only then did the housekeeper recount everything that had just happened, and the more Mu Beiting listened, the darker his face became.

Mu Beiting’s change made Pete break into a cold sweat, secretly worrying for the housekeeper.

After the housekeeper finished explaining everything, he kept his head down, waiting for Mu Beiting’s judgment.

Mu Beiting’s eyes turned cold as he said icily, ”Pack your things, I, Mu Beiting, do not need useless people like you around me!”

”Sir, please forgive me this time, I won’t dare again!” Upon hearing this, the housekeeper looked up in disbelief at Mu Beiting, though he knew Mu Beiting would punish him, he hadn’t expected such severe punishment.

Since the sir moved into the villa, he has been serving by his side, and he was carefully chosen by the sir himself! Over these years, he had been cautious, never making any mistakes! Yet, to think today he committed an unforgivable error.

He did not beg for the forgiveness of the sir and madam, only wished to stay by their side to repent for his sin.

Mu Beiting mercilessly uttered a word, ”Get out...!”

The housekeeper’s face turned ashen, not daring to say another word, he slumped his shoulders and turned to leave the ward.

The housekeeper left, but the atmosphere in the ward did not improve because of it, instead, it became even more oppressive and strange.

Pete hesitated for a while, but ultimately gathered the courage to plead on behalf of the housekeeper, ”President, actually the housekeeper was in a difficult position, after all, Su Yuexin was indeed the wife candidate you personally appointed back then! Their apprehension is understandable, besides, we’ve seen how formidable Mo Qiaoyan is that night, the housekeeper...!”

”Are you pleading for the housekeeper?” Mu Beiting raised his eyebrows while looking at him, his face showing no expression.

”I...!” Pete wanted to explain, but Mu Beiting didn’t give him the chance, ”If you plead for him again, then you pack your things and get out as well!”

Hearing this, Pete immediately shut his mouth, not daring to say anything more.

He hadn’t expected his boss to be so angry over this matter! It seems, someone had touched his bottom line!

Mu Beiting pressed his lips together, remained silent for a moment, then suddenly said, ”Go buy some medicine and send it back to her!”

”Okay!” After what just happened, Pete was not at all surprised by his boss’s decision. After tidying up the files he had just reviewed, he stood up and left the ward.

In the villa, Ye Anxin, who had been curled up reading in her room, felt thirsty and went downstairs to pour herself a glass of water! She happened to see the housekeeper saying goodbye to the villa’s servants with a suitcase in hand.

Ye Anxin, holding her water glass, teased, ”Housekeeper, why are you carrying a suitcase? Going on a trip?”

The housekeeper’s eyes were red, and he choked, ”Madam, I can no longer take care of you in the future, please take care of yourself!”

Today’s housekeeper was no longer the aloof and shrewd man Ye Anxin had first met, but a warm-hearted, caring middle-aged uncle!

Hearing the implication in the housekeeper’s words, Ye Anxin was suddenly taken aback, ”You’re leaving?”

The housekeeper nodded reluctantly, ”Yes! Madam, please take great care!”

She used to think the madam was a pampered heiress, so she had no good impression of her and resisted in her heart.
