Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 70: Chapter 70: Regret (Bonus Chapter 1)

As Mu Beiting returned to the hospital bed and passed by Su Yuexin, her eyes filled with anticipation, hoping he would help her up from the floor.

Unfortunately, she was disappointed!

Mu Beiting never even glanced at her, as if she were invisible, not existing at all.

Su Yuexin felt extremely aggrieved and awkwardly climbed up from the floor.

This time, she dared not approach Mu Beiting any closer, nor did she dare to hold him, but obediently stood beside him, explaining tearfully, ”Beiting, I was wrong, I truly know I was wrong! I shouldn’t have run away from the wedding in a fit of anger! I just wanted to provoke you, wanted you to come find me, wanted you to be the first to admit it! I didn’t know... I didn’t know... I didn’t know you would be so angry! Seeing you ignore me, I was really heartbroken!”

After what had just happened, she truly regretted it!

She regretted that she shouldn’t have been angry at that time, shouldn’t have acted impulsively, shouldn’t have eloped just because Mu Beiting didn’t give her a grand wedding.

At that time, she really only wanted to provoke him, to make him compromise, to let him know her importance in his heart.

What woman doesn’t want a man to kneel on one knee, making a heartfelt proposal! What woman doesn’t want a grand and lavish wedding! What woman doesn’t wish for a Prince Charming to declare to the world that he will love and take care of her forever.

Especially when that man is Mu Beiting, the man every woman in Jin City dreams of.

She truly wanted to see Mu Beiting kneeling on one knee proposing to her and wanted all the women in Jin City to know that the man they dreamed of marrying chose her and loved her deeply.

She enjoyed seeing the envious and jealous gazes of others, and she relished the feeling of being admired in such a way.

But she hadn’t expected it to end up like this.

She thought that just by crying a little, Mu Beiting would feel sorry and immediately change his mind.

Unfortunately, no matter what she said nearby, no matter how sadly she cried, Mu Beiting acted as if he hadn’t heard anything, continuing to handle his business.

”Boo-hoo...!” However, Su Yuexin didn’t feel discouraged, crying silently with her head lowered.

Even her crying was very skillful, like the well-bred ladies of ancient times; she simply shed tears silently, without making a sound, occasionally letting out very soft sobs.

This way of crying was much more pitiful than those who sobbed loudly, with snot and tears everywhere! Anyone would surely feel immensely sorry seeing this.

But, Mu Beiting was not an ordinary man; he was completely different from other men.

One hour passed by, and Su Yuexin’s eyes were swollen from crying, yet she continued her sobbing, while Mu Beiting carried on with his own matters, as if she didn’t exist, without a trace of concern, not even a glance.

Just then, Pete, who had sent Ye Anxin away, pushed open the door of the ward. Seeing Su Yuexin crying bitterly inside, he was slightly taken aback, then politely called out, ”Miss Su!”

In fact, after what had happened in the villa earlier that day, he really disliked Su Yuexin.

However, he didn’t understand what his boss meant regarding Su Yuexin right now! What if, as Su Yuexin said, the boss married the lady just to force her back, what would happen if she became his future boss lady? Therefore, until he got the situation clear, he wouldn’t rashly offend her.

”Assistant Pete!” Seeing Pete, Su Yuexin seemed to see hope, a glimmer igniting in her eyes.
