Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 32: Chapter 32: Big Sister, I’m Lost

Ye Anxin suddenly came to her senses, crouched down to be level with the child, patted his little head, and asked with a smile, ”Little brother, did you say you were lost just now?”

The little boy smiled even sweeter, ”Yes! Big sister, can you take me home?”

With such a smile from the little boy, Ye Anxin’s heart suddenly softened completely, ”What’s your name? Do you know where you live? Or do you know your parents’ phone number?”

The little boy tilted his head and said innocently, ”My name is Huo Jiantian, I’m five years old this year, my dad works at the Huo Tian Group.”

Ye Anxin took out her phone to check the time, patted his little head again, and said with a smile, ”Tiantian, it’s almost time for me to go to school, how about this, I’ll hail a cab for you to go to the entrance of the Huo Tian Group! Once there, you should know how to find your dad, right?”

Huo Jiantian exaggeratedly sighed deeply, pretending to be helpless, ”Alas...! Forget it, we’re just strangers who crossed paths, you don’t have any obligation to send me to my dad’s place! Just leave me to my own fate! Although there are many scammers now, bad people are everywhere trying to kidnap children, I am so smart, I won’t be taken by them! Sister, go to school! I’ll find my dad on my own!” With that, he turned around and prepared to leave.

Seeing him about to go, Ye Anxin hurriedly called out, ”Hey...!”

Huo Jiantian waved his hand towards Ye Anxin without turning his head, ”Big sister, don’t worry about me. Even if I really get taken by bad people, it’s not your fault, it’s my own stupidity! Big sister, go to class! I’m leaving now! See you again if fate allows!”

Ye Anxin, who was already soft-hearted, felt a surge of guilt and remorse in her heart when she heard this.

He’s only five years old, such a small child, if he were to be taken by bad people, his life would be ruined!

Thinking of this, Ye Anxin quickly ran up, took Huo Jiantian’s hand, and said with a smile, ”Tiantian, let me take you to find your dad after all! You’re so young, I can’t rest assured letting you wander alone!”

”Really? Thank you so much, sister!” Huo Jiantian looked up, smiled squinting at Ye Anxin!

”Let’s go! I’ll take you to the Huo Tian Group!” Ye Anxin nodded, completely unaware of the flash of pride that passed through Huo Jiantian’s big, watery eyes.

Holding Huo Jiantian’s hand, Ye Anxin hailed a taxi at the school entrance and headed straight for their destination.

Ye Anxin was completely unaware that not far from the school, in an inconspicuous spot, sat a business car. In the driver’s seat sat Pete, and in the back seat sat Mu Beiting.

Pete glanced at Mu Beiting through the rearview mirror, seeing his gloomy expression, he quickly said, ”President, that’s President Huo’s son!”

Mu Beiting remained silent, his thin lips tightly pressed into a line.

Pete hesitated for a moment but couldn’t help but ask, ”President, should we follow them?”

Mu Beiting’s eyes were grim, and he coldly said, ”Go back to the company!”

Pete looked at the place where Ye Anxin and the taxi disappeared, still somewhat hesitant, ”But Madam...?”

Mu Beiting’s tone grew even colder, ”Back to the company!”

”Yes!” Pete nodded and drove away.

On the other side, Ye Anxin took a taxi with Huo Jiantian directly to the Huo Tian Group.

After getting out of the taxi, Ye Anxin crouched down and asked, ”Tiantian, what department does your dad work in? Do you remember your dad’s phone number? Let’s call him first and have him come out to pick you up?”

Huo Jiantian shook his head, ”No need, let’s just go in directly?”
