Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 12: Chapter 12: New Home

Pete glanced at Ye Anxin through the rearview mirror, ”I’m taking Madam back to the President’s villa!”

Ye Anxin puzzledly asked, ”Uncle has his own villa? Isn’t he living with the Mu Family?”

Pete shook his head, ”No! The President has his own separate villa!”

”Oh no... Oh no...!” Upon hearing this, Ye Anxin’s body instantly went limp.

She thought Mu Beiting and Mu Rufeng were living together? That way, she could be Mu Rufeng’s aunt and annoy him every day!

Now, not living together? Doesn’t that mean her plan has fallen through? Didn’t she marry for nothing?

Seeing Ye Anxin’s expression reflected in the rearview mirror, Pete raised his eyebrows and asked amusingly, ”Madam seems quite disappointed?”

”I just feel I’m a bit stupid! Such an obvious thing, and I didn’t figure it out!” Ye Anxin covered her forehead, feeling speechless and headache over her stupidity.

She should have realized earlier! She and Mu Rufeng dated for two years, visiting the Mu Family almost weekly! Yet she only saw Mu Beiting once!

Before, she thought Mu Beiting was too busy and returned home very late, so she didn’t pay attention! It turns out they don’t live together.

A miscalculation, just a complete miscalculation!

Pete didn’t ask why she felt it was a disaster, but he found her expression of gut-wrenching regret quite entertaining.

It seems their President has married someone extraordinary! An iceberg man and an extraordinary woman, one wonders what kind of sparks will fly?

Ye Anxin leaned against the driver’s seat’s leather backrest with a smile, ”Brother Pete, take me to Hotel No. 7 first! My luggage is there! Once I sort my luggage, I’ll go to Uncle’s villa myself!”

Pete replied without turning his head, ”Please don’t worry, Madam. The President instructed me to take you back to the villa. Besides, I am about to go out with the President for negotiations, so there’s no extra time.”

Ye Anxin pursed her lips, pulled out her phone, and sent a text to Father Ye, saying she wouldn’t be returning.

Pete glanced at Ye Anxin through the rearview mirror, shook his head helplessly, and said no more.

Shortly thereafter, Pete took Ye Anxin to Mu Beiting’s villa, handed her over to the butler, and left immediately.

The butler appeared to be in his early forties, dressed sharply and professionally. His eyes were bright and seemed to see through everything with just a glance.

The butler’s sharp eyes examined Ye Anxin from head to toe.

So this is the Su Family’s lady who obtained a marriage certificate with their master today? She has the aura but her attire...? More like an average college student?

Feeling uncomfortable from the butler’s scrutiny, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but shrink her neck.

The butler withdrew his gaze, and although respectful, his voice was devoid of warmth as he said, ”Madam, your room with Master is upstairs!”

”Oh! Okay, thank you, butler!” Ye Anxin sweetly smiled, her eyes curving into crescent shapes.

Seeing Ye Anxin’s sweet smile, the butler’s expression slightly froze!

This new madam seems to have no airs? She seems very gentle and easy to get along with?

Although thinking this, the butler showed no signs of it and proceeded to lead Ye Anxin upstairs.

After bringing Ye Anxin upstairs, the butler went downstairs to continue his work.

Outside, it was already dark, and after a tiring day, she was truly exhausted! She opened the closet to find a change of clothes for a shower.

When the closet opened, all she saw were men’s clothes; there wasn’t a single piece of women’s clothing.

Ye Anxin sighed lightly and simply washed her face, then sat on the chair by the bedside and dozed off on the nightstand.
