Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

After everyone returned to their rooms, they began sorting through the local specialties they had brought back from the other world.

Aside from Orion Cross and the Ancient One, everyone else had bought quite a few things in Bilgewater. Of course, Miss Fortune had paid for all of it in the end.

Bilgewater had a dockside culture, so its specialties naturally included goods imported from every corner of Runeterra.

That was also why Coulson had been so excited earlier.

Although he had not brought back anything especially rare, so many different items from another world were more than enough for him to earn a major achievement.

In Orion Cross’s room, he sat cross-legged on the wooden couch, astral energy swirling around him.

”Looks like this is feasible.”

Orion Cross slowly opened his eyes.

He had just successfully sensed something he had left behind in Runeterra.

A scale. The scale engraved with the ritual to pray to Galakrond was embedded in the Demon Gun.

This proved that with extradimensional magic, as long as something had his magic power attached to it, time and space no longer had any meaning to him.

Besides, that scale was the real gift.

Compared to the Holy Gun and Demon Gun, which only had twelve bullets in total, praying to Galakrond had no limit on the number of uses.

And that scale was no longer like the one he had given Pietro before, which only had a communication function.

Orion Cross already possessed magic power, and Runeterra did not lack magic either. Once the Demon Gun’s bullets were used up, the scale would appear.

At that time, as long as someone was willing to perform the prayer ritual, he would be able to summon Galakrond’s authority once.

At the same time, more magic power would be transmitted to Orion Cross as an offering, strengthening his next transformation into Galakrond.

Of course, transforming into Galakrond required seventh-rank magic power. Orion Cross had only just started, so he had no idea when he would reach that level.

Knock, knock, knock.

At that moment, a knock suddenly sounded from the door.

”Come in,” Orion Cross said after snapping back to his senses.

The wooden door opened, and the Ancient One walked in.

”What is it? Did something go wrong?”

Seeing the Ancient One suddenly arrive, Orion Cross asked curiously.

”Your extradimensional magic has weakened the barrier between dimensions,” the Ancient One said.

”The dimensional barrier has weakened? So Earth is easier to invade now?”

Orion Cross frowned and asked.

”No.”

The Ancient One shook her head slightly. ”The dimensional barrier is not used to stop other dimensions from invading.”

”Just say it directly. What kind of effect does it have?”

Orion Cross raised an eyebrow.

”The dimensional barrier is like a net. The only way for other dimensions to invade is to tear open that net.”

”But now, the holes in that net have simply become a little larger...”

”I don’t know what will happen either. Perhaps nothing will happen at all.”

As the Ancient One spoke to the end, she placed a Sling Ring on the table. ”This is a necessary tool if you are preparing to learn spatial portals.”

”So in plain terms, there’s been a small change, but there’s actually no threat at all?”

After listening, Orion Cross rested his chin on one hand and spoke.

”That is what it means,” the Ancient One nodded.

”I...”

Orion Cross stopped himself, then smiled and shook his head. In the end, he could only attribute the Ancient One’s behavior of looking for trouble where there was none to her sense of responsibility toward her duties.

”I only came over to mention it.”

The Ancient One drew open a portal with one hand and left Orion Cross’s room.

Early the next morning, Orion Cross had just woken up when his door was knocked on again.

He helplessly opened the door, only to see Coulson standing outside with a smile on his face. ”Sir, you aren’t planning to stay here forever and live like an ascetic, are you?”

”You’re inviting us to New York?”

Orion Cross glanced at Pietro and Wanda behind Coulson and immediately understood.

As expected of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s expert in negotiation and diplomacy. He knew to convince those two children first before coming to find Orion Cross.

”Yes. The Director has been waiting for you there for quite some time.”

Coulson smiled and nodded.

”Believe me, inviting us to New York is something you will definitely regret.”

As they walked toward the aircraft, Orion Cross smiled and spoke.

Naturally, he had no reason to refuse. After going to Runeterra’s dimension, whether he came into contact with Miss Fortune, Graves, or Twisted Fate, none of them had triggered a mission.

This meant that only the major figures of this world could trigger them.

At least, that was how it was at the current stage.

As for whether his idiotic system, which had not the slightest bit of intelligence, would upgrade and change in the future, he had no idea.

”Regret? Are you planning to become super criminals and start causing destruction?”

Coulson did not believe it at all. He only thought Orion Cross was joking, completely failing to notice that Pietro, standing behind him, was holding a memory card with a smug smile on his face.

”Super criminals? What’s the point of that?”

Orion Cross curled his lips. If he really wanted something, he could just ask Nick Fury for it directly.

”Then why would I regret it?”

Coulson thought Orion Cross was showing disdain toward criminal behavior, and a trace of admiration rose in his heart once again.

”You’ll know when the time comes.”

Orion Cross stepped onto the Quinjet transport that had been parked here for a full day and night, sat down, and stretched lazily.

Wanda struggled to carry her share of otherworldly local specialties and placed them into the luggage compartment before sitting beside Orion Cross.

”Oh, right. I’ll give you this. I’ll teach you how to use it later.”

Orion Cross suddenly thought of something and tossed the Sling Ring the Ancient One had given him to Wanda.

”A ring?!”

Wanda hurriedly caught it. When she lowered her head and looked at it, her little face instantly turned red. She quickly hid it in her pocket, not even hearing what Orion Cross said afterward.
