Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

A month passed quickly. Orion Cross did not hold much hope that Nick Fury would be able to contact the people of Kamar-Taj. The reason he had asked Nick Fury to search for them was merely to cast a wider net and increase the odds a little.

Boom!

Orion Cross, who was playing Pac-Man in front of the computer, suddenly felt the ground tremble slightly and knew that person had arrived.

”I’m about to leave Earth. Whatever it is you wanted, you can tell me now, right?”

Carol descended from the sky, shook out her hair, and walked toward Orion Cross.

Orion Cross dragged the mouse and clicked pause, glanced at the mission refresh timer, then continued playing. ”Wait a little longer. Five more minutes.”

”...”

The corner of Carol’s mouth twitched as she sat down on the sofa. Looking at Orion Cross, who was still playing games over there, a trace of displeasure appeared in her eyes.

So her business was not even as important as one round of a game? He actually wanted her to wait five minutes while he finished playing?

Five minutes later, Orion Cross glanced at the refreshed mission.

[Captain Marvel Series Mission: Fight base-form Carol Danvers head-on for three hours without falling.]

The previous ”Defeat Carol Danvers in Binary form” had changed into this. It could be said that the difficulty had dropped greatly.

But there was still one fatal problem.

Without falling.

If it were merely not losing, then after Orion Cross’s War Aspect transformation ended, he could still rely on the will of The Unbreakable Spear to easily hold on until the end.

But not falling was far too harsh a requirement.

Putting aside the strength gap between normal Orion Cross and base-form Carol, even if the two were equal in strength, it would be impossible for neither side to fall to the ground even once during an all-out fight.

However...

Glancing at the Magical Cat contract card in his storage space, as well as the reward obtained from completing the Nick Fury series mission, Orion Cross felt that he still had the capital to fight.

In that case...

”Come fight me.”

Orion Cross stood up and walked to an empty area nearby. After standing still, he spoke.

”Oh? Sure. I was just thinking of giving you a beating.”

After being made to wait for a month and then being delayed another five minutes, Carol was already in a bad mood. She stood up, leaped over, landed opposite Orion Cross, and cracked her knuckles.

”Then let’s set three rules. Three hours. You only use your base form. Fight with everything you have. If you knock me down, you win.”

Orion Cross spoke calmly.

”Fine. Consider it my warm-up before I leave. Come on then, hero on par with Achilles.”

Carol spoke with a teasing smile. Then she stepped down, shockwaves spreading beneath her feet as her entire body rushed toward Orion Cross.

”Achilles, just like Heracles, died by my hand. If there really were records, I should be the Great Demon King instead.”

Orion Cross chuckled and took out the reward from the Nick Fury series mission from his storage space.

[Completed Nick Fury Series Mission. Reward obtained: High Noon — Devil’s Contract.]

[High Noon — Devil’s Contract]

Effect: Randomly contract a demon, draw it into your body, and obtain all of its power for one hour.

Side Effect: The overwhelming majority of demons will fight for control over the body. Once control is seized, the soul will also be harvested.

Cooldown: One second.

”A demon? Come on, then.”

Orion Cross used High Noon — Devil’s Contract, and a hideous mark instantly appeared on the back of his hand before slowly sinking beneath the skin.

When it came to demons, Orion Cross feared nothing. What The Unbreakable Spear brought him was not only an unyielding will, but also an additional one hundred percent increase in strength when fighting gods and demons.

Boom!

A giant sword suddenly fell from the sky and stabbed into the ground in front of Orion Cross, blasting Carol away as she charged at him.

”What is that now?!”

Carol hovered in the air, staring in surprise at the giant sword that had suddenly appeared.

Compared to the gorgeous Olympian Sword, this giant sword was more like a demonic blade. It seemed to be made of flesh and blood, slowly pulsing as if it had a heartbeat and life of its own.

”You count as a demon?”

Looking at the somewhat familiar giant sword before him, Orion Cross stepped forward, gripped the hilt, and pulled it out, feeling somewhat puzzled.

”Demon. God. Those are all mortal names. I am... Darkin!”

A heavy, hoarse voice came from within the giant sword.

”Whatever you are, right now, you’re just a weapon.”

Orion Cross tightened his grip on the hilt and swung it toward Carol, who was charging at him again.

Boom!

Carol punched the blade, and a massive shockwave rapidly spread outward.

Hela, who was surfing the internet in the distance, frowned and had no choice but to take both hands off the keyboard, waving her hand to extinguish the shockwave that was about to shatter the desk and computer.

”Lowly mortal, I will devour your will, strip away your soul, and erase your memories!”

The giant sword released a pained wail, followed by an enraged roar.

However...

”Biting dogs don’t bark. Can’t you be a little quieter?”

Orion Cross glanced at his left hand. This giant sword named Aatrox had only eroded half of his arm, and that was while it was in a state of fury.

Boom!

Carol punched the blade again.

”Wretched mortal, I will sever your body, slice it open, and chop it to pieces!”

After its true body was attacked again and again, enduring immense pain and humiliation, Aatrox shifted its attention from Orion Cross to Carol.

”Accept my power and witness immortality!”

The giant sword released a roar, and the heart on the blade suddenly beat. A pair of demonic wings erupted from Orion Cross’s back.

World Ender, activated!
